Yikes hadn't noticed reiss was poly. Should ve ordered the asos similar one. Love the pleats for summer too.

Dry- warehouse have a lovely light blue pencil lace skirt.

Blair yes sorry- was on selected stuff only.

Oh and wrt silver shoes - my zara ones are holding up fairly well- but they were very sparkly/ glittery at the start, less so now.

Turquoiseblue · 02/05/2014 15:17

Linus I pinned a few midi s to get how to wear inspo. Would you try bare legs and flats yet ? Tho reckon you could do opaques still (summer s only starting )

MarshaBrady · 02/05/2014 17:48

Turq love those midis. I wonder if it's because I did the links on my phone.

QueenCadbury · 02/05/2014 21:13

Right ladies, I'm off to bed and then away at the weekend (it'll be a boozy one so I need to get a good nights sleep tonight ). Have good ones everyone. shop hope you feel better soon.

LinusDKD · 02/05/2014 21:59

turq I might try bare legs and flats tomorrow and see what it looks like.

It's a shame that my Jalouses look weird on me with bare legs whereas they look great with tights.

dry have fun with DD!

justasecond · 02/05/2014 22:14

Have a great night Queenc and enjoy your trip to London Dry!!
Feeling crap today, my throat is so sore and for some reason I decided to make risotto for dinner, I felt like crying half way through. All I wanted to do was lie down.
One Exciting news!
Turq love the silver camo skirt. i really like the midi length.
I wore my bf jeans today. I really like them actually just the right amount of slouch for me i.e not very much and the perfect length.
I found these shameless copies of the sam edelman trina on TK maxx website
www.tkmaxx.com/womens-sandals/cream-open-toe-sandals/invt/25147957&bklist=icat,4,shop,1,2521 Curiosity got the better of me and I ordered them to compare them to the ones I already have in a different colour. They are not leather and I usually avoid fake leather. There are actually some nice things on there atm in the Contemporary section
www.tkmaxx.com/women/contemporary/icat/5454 some see by chloe, Duffy and Nicole Farhi.

OneLittleLady · 02/05/2014 22:33

Have today bought a bright red, collarless 3/4 sleeve linen jacket, it's quite vintage looking and fits like a glove exactly where it should as it's petite sized.

Got my congratulations letter from UCAS this afternoon! Now just have to wait for welcome pack from the college to come so I know exactly when and where to go to be officially enrolled and such like.

London voguers, what kind of areas should DP be looking to relocate to that are closest to the central and/or northern lines (they are the quickest way to get him to the london office)? obviously, at this stage he's likely looking at a short term house share to keep costs down until we are better placed in the longer term

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 02/05/2014 22:53

Does anyone have this month's (June) In Style magazine? On p66 (shorts feature) there are some gorgeous JCrew cream Bermudas that I can't seem to find on the website story of my life. Am I missing something? I can find similar, but that's not good enough.

shopafrolic · 02/05/2014 23:31

Grumpy email their customer services, they're amazing and will be able to track them down for you.

libertychick · 03/05/2014 00:03

One Acton is good for house shares and several Tubes stations including central line - exciting times for both of you.

Justa I have tried on the Asos boyfriends - they are keepers - DH said I look hot in them so decision made Wink

Picked up the M&S mass order of sandals today. Keeping [http://www.pinterest.com/pin/321937073335638796/ these]] and these silver pointy toes - summer sandals sorted!

Hope you feel better over the weekend Shop

Oh and picked up and immediately returned the Clarks Fugly sandals today - so bad, so very, very bad!!! What was I thinking???? Smile

libertychick · 03/05/2014 00:07

Gah sandals links all wrong. Try again.

Pewter butterfly sandals

silver pointy toe slingbacks

Dry Have a great weekend. I am so looking forward to doing things like that with my DD!

QueenCadbury · 03/05/2014 08:01

Aaaaaggghh, I've trimmed my fringe as I couldn't see and I couldn't wait 10 days till my hair appt. I look like a lego head!!!!

shopafrolic · 03/05/2014 08:43

Not helpful now Queenc but most hairdressers will do a free of charge fringe trim between appointments.......

LinusDKD · 03/05/2014 08:46

HELLOWEEKEND will get you 20% off the entire MiH website this weekend until midnight Monday.

shopafrolic · 03/05/2014 08:52

Liberty I am secretly relieved about the fugly sandals!
New Gap skinnies on today with RL red and cream Breton, will wear Madewell flats when I head out. Quiet weekend for us for me to recover, what's everyone up to this Bank holiday?

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2014 08:55

Morning everyone, how are you feeling Shop and Justa? Sorry about your fringe Queen, I've been there, never again!

Grumpy I probably missed it but did you get the Maje dress?

Wedding today, I am going to wear the blue Karl dress after all (with gold JCrew heels rather than rockstuds, the gold works better)... the MCQ is a fab dress but I can't get the top of it to sit right with a bra (and bra is essential with it), it is cut pretty low under the armpit, I think that as it's so expensive it needs to be perfect, so I'm taking it back next week.

I had a bit of a trying on session in denim studio at Selfridges yesterday, the service is so great in there! I was looking for boyfriend jeans to make sure I have the right ones before I order from Shopbop. I'm happy with the Mother dropouts but loved the frame garçon and also Rag and Bone, mainly because they were so beautifully soft and comfy probably means very thin and will wear quickly.

Dry have a fabulous time!

I'm not sure if I confirmed but I should be at the MU, happy to book if any decision has been reached re venue. I think DH is going to take the kids to some festival for the day.

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2014 08:59

Oh and i had a non-boyfriend jean moment and tried on these, the full length pic doesn't really show how shiny they are - the close up shot is better- but I loved them. Am I insane, will I just look like a sad ageing soft rock fan Confused?

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2014 09:01

Lib both your links to to the sandals Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 03/05/2014 09:01

And yes, what were you thinking Grin?!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 03/05/2014 09:40

I did get the Maje dress sleep. I went for a size 2 because I couldn't find a size 1 in Selfridges and couldn't be bothered to traipse all over London to try to find one. I was running late for lunch so I bought it without trying it on Shock, but it was a nice fit when I did put it on at home (thank goodness!). I do love it and it's not too short on little old me either!

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2014 11:20

Morning, gorgeous weather. Bit fresh but nice to see the sunshine.

Grumpy the Maje dress is so lovely, glad you got it.

Love the look of that Karl dress Sleep.

Have fun Dry.

Have sent everyone to the GPs so I can get stuff done. We're going to try and go out later sans dc. Really feel like it.

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2014 11:22

Liberty good one. Love the sandals, very pretty and you.

Justa they look good.

Sleep if anyone can do snakeprint skinnies it's you. I think you'd look fab.

MarshaBrady · 03/05/2014 11:23

One can you say in which area he will work? Otherwise he may be on the wrong side of town.

Mara me too, the patent and the elastic hurts a bit.
