Poor bloke Blair, no wonder he's not been back! And spreadsheets? For your clothes? Crikey, that is so organised and yes, I frequently don't like most of what I wear. Probably because I focus on the parts of my body I really don't like rather than being positive.

Glad there are a few short arses like me as I can't possibly spend all day in heels.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/04/2014 17:31

Oh liberty I sympathise, what I am looking for changes every day! Grin So fickle!

I do have a rough budget spreadsheet but I also write down things that I know do and don't suit me so I can remind myself when I'm having a wobble on my style. Also I have been planning all my outfits in advance since the start of this year and giving them a rating after Blush

shopafrolic · 01/04/2014 18:19

Awesome Blair - would love to know your highest and lowest rated outfits.....

LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 19:05

Wow blair you sound like DH, he has spreadsheets for everything. Wink

Great sweatshirt santa that is so you!

If I ever make it to a meetup it will have to be in winter on a sunny but cold day so there's no humidity in the air. So my hair doesn't frizz and I don't end up being a sweaty mess.

Seriously, if it happens I will go for a blowdry and manicure first! Grin

santamarianovella · 01/04/2014 19:29

My hair has a tendency to frizz too,I swear by bumble and bumble,

blair Im like you sans the spreadsheet, all my outfits are pre planned, and there is usually a backup outfit for every outfit, I think a lot about any purchases, and hardly impulse buy,I must have spent a few sleepless night thinking about the Stella dress,it gave me really terrible headaches Blush,

I've never met a hot builder , and I used to work with them frequently, they were either overweight or bald,

shopafrolic · 01/04/2014 19:34

I don't believe hot builders exist, in the same way that hot men driving Porsche, Lamborghini, or Ferrari sports cars do not exist. (other than celebs / sports personalities of course).
We need proof Dry.

santamarianovella · 01/04/2014 19:41

Shop YY, apart from sports personalities only short bald men and sometimes overweight ( believe me,i saw someone the size of a hippo squeeze into a ferrari, not a pretty sight) but I think men who drive range rovers are usually hot, though,I don't know why,

shopafrolic · 01/04/2014 20:00

Will have to investigate that further Santa, lots of footballers round here so probably true.......
When I worked in the incentives industry I was allowed to take a red Ferrari 350 for a spin I pulled up at traffic lights and people kept doing a double take when they saw a (then) 34 year old woman at the wheel!

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2014 20:03

My builders both have fine heads of hair thank you very much! Johnny Depp is gorgeous, the boss less so,but a really nice guy. My electrician is buff too....I'm telling you my build lasts until August and I can put up with the chaos !Grin Wink

Also.....they sign for my parcels Grin

Convo at dinner with family just now about emails
DH "I have 2-300 e mails to read every day"
Me" I do too, and they're all from shops, it's a nightmare!"
Family roll eyesGrin

Oh dear I've just remembered;
2 pairs BR work trousers
1 Orange Whistles sweatshirt

Shit! Shit! Shit!

Sleep do you do this sort of counselling? I'm really out of control aren't i?

I do plan outfits and try to buy stuff that goes with my wardrobe though.

Need to keep a list.

Hides Visa card .

Sad

shopafrolic · 01/04/2014 20:05

What happened with your wardrobe clear out Dry? Did you get past shoes? Grin

LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 20:07

Don't be too hard on yourself dry! You return most of the stuff you order.

Maybe we will need to find you another 'investment piece' like the Disco.

How about a Burberry mac?

LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 20:09

mac

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2014 20:12

Depends on the model of RR I think.
Sport= trophy wives, blonde, sunnies and footballers (white) young, good looking.
Vogue= middle aged larger ladies (beige, dark beige leather interior) head teachers
Discovery=middle aged men! slightly portly (black or silver)
Freelander= yummy mummies
Époque = posy mummies (cherry red most popular and one fushia pink seen locally)
Land Rover= proper county folks

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 20:13

mac with leather detail

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2014 20:14

Hope I haven't offended any RR owners...all tongue in cheek.

I was playing the "guess what car my MNV friends would drive" the other day.

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 01/04/2014 20:15

Haha very good Dry. Go for a guess! (I may have said).

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2014 20:15

linus I like the second, shorter a lot. Thanks for saying that about returns, I am beginning to panic.
Shop I did have a great sort out....5 1/2 bin bags full![hhmm]

LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 20:16

boat neck very unusual but very elegant.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/04/2014 20:22

Love it Dry! Well jel of shop. I drove DP's car the other day and got an appreciative wave from a guy Hmm (we are both into our cars but mine is more... girly shall we say!)

Oh and hot builders do exist, my DP's friend is one I'd never say this to DP of course but I can here.

santa my (virtual) spreadsheet twin! I have to say I think I dress a lot better since I started planning. Definitely think about accessories more. I don't have backup outfits though!

shop ok my worst and best... (bearing in mind it's primarily for work, occasionally casual outfits if I have something planned)
Worst (just boring really): black bootcut trousers, black stilettos, vest, and bright blue cardigan, 2 stars
Best: boyfriend jeans, breton top, navy military blazer, and tan monk shoes, 5 stars!

QueenCadbury · 01/04/2014 20:23

C'mon then dry, what car do you reckon I drive?

sleep no venue fir mu as yet. I organised the date so I'm handing the venue over to someone else Grin. My plan will be shopping in regent st and then getting back to paddington pissed

blair I'm seriously impressed by the ratings. There's no way I could be arsed to do that. Today's outfit of sweatpants would be a definite fail although I did actually manage to shower before doing school pick up and throw on a tee and jeans. Illness and style do not mix.

liberty silicone free is fab isn't it. I use the naked stuff for dd and her hair is so much more manageable and less of a frizzy birds nest.

LinusDKD · 01/04/2014 20:29

I have been looking for some E. Alt black mid heel pointy pumps (because we are soo similar style wise. NOT!) and then I came across these

blue

I'm in love. But I really don't need a pair of blue heels.

I don't really need a pair of EA black pointy pumps either, but at least they are black so could be worn with lots of outfits.

shopafrolic · 01/04/2014 20:30

What car for me Dry? (Forgot I beat you on the bin bag count didn't I?) Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/04/2014 20:30

QueenC I definitely wouldn't do it if it wasn't for work. Evening post-shower slob outfits would definitely score 0 Grin

Need to plan tomorrow's. I used to do it a week in advance but that fell by the wayside.

Yes am intrigued re Dry's vision of our cars... we've had mara's thoughts on our potential looks!

Drywhiteplease · 01/04/2014 20:31

Ooh it's really hard Marsha ...I'm not great on cars really.
Hang on :

Novice RR and a Merc sport I think.
Shop BMW X5 and a Golf (but would get a Bugatti veron if she didn't have kids)
Sleep Volvo XC90[with bike rack) and something sporty
Marsha Porshe cayenne
Grumpy RR and horse box and a Mini 4x4
Santa RR
Mara Merc
Linus BMW X5
Anni Mini 4x4 and one of those trucks (Handy DH)
Liberty VW.......Golf gti

I'm rubbish at this really, stupid game.
