It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

Hi all --

apols about the link- was in a tearing hurry so only posted the link but it is kosher (Huffington Post I think) and features a pictogram of all the Oscar dresses. Sorry if it spooked you all.

Annianni · 02/03/2014 18:02

Sorry Because but I'm not adding anyone else to the pin board, unless I've met them irl.

I'm all for letting Ds1 do science things with his microscope Dry, although I did hide the lance thing in the bin that came with it, for pricking fingers and looking at blood... I didn't fancy the aftermath of that!

LinusDKD · 02/03/2014 18:05

blair that's not good, I would complain as well!

Annianni · 02/03/2014 18:09

I think their CS is supposed to be good Blair.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 02/03/2014 18:28

Annianni, as I said earlier, I fully understand. I was only commenting because shop said there had been no comments - I'm not going to be asking for a public link every time, it makes me feel like the little girl at school asking to be let into the cool girls group Wink.

I went into Top Shop today and walked out with a denim shirt! Thirty years after buying my first denim shirt, here I am again Grin but I have to admit I am rather excited about it and fully intend to do the double denim thing.

shopafrolic · 02/03/2014 19:49

Sorry Because you misunderstood my post. I wasn't referring to anyone on the thread as a lurker. I meant real lurkers who never post.
Dry am loving the husband's secret. 14 chapters in and it's really drawing me in. Thanks

It's a good one Shop. I snuggled down to read mine earlier...fell asleep, bit dull at the moment.

SecretSquirrel13 · 02/03/2014 19:53

Shop I thought it was pretty but the colours not me. Plus I find sequinned things soo itchy.
Am bidding on something on eBay does that count as not shopping if my paypal balance covers it?GrinGrin

SecretSquirrel13 · 02/03/2014 19:53

Oh I've just started the husbands secret too!

SecretSquirrel13 · 02/03/2014 19:59

Mistakenly bought as thought was by Sophie Hannah due to confusingly worded cover, or maybe that's just me.

shopafrolic · 02/03/2014 19:59

secret as far as I'm concerned PayPal balance isn't real money so all good! Link once purchased?
It's a great book. Let us know what you think.
Novice am about to PM you.

I do hope so Anni. Am really disappointed, I love the trousers but it won't be the same when I wear them now.

I keep seeing you all pinning things bought from asos Wink. Happy to be of service!!

Drywhiteplease · 02/03/2014 20:41

Agree with Shop Secret PayPal spends don't count. Wink

shopafrolic · 02/03/2014 20:44

Blair those pics are awful. I hope they refund you as I doubt you'll be wanting a replacement?!

I'm working my way through ST Style, it's a lovely chunky one this week

OP posts:
LinusDKD · 02/03/2014 20:47

Very jealous shop!

I can get the ST here but without the supplements which is the only reason I bought it when I lived in London

shopafrolic · 02/03/2014 20:49

linus PM me your address and I'll post it to you tomorrow? The least I can do.......

OP posts:
BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 02/03/2014 20:50

shop they were in the sale (£310 full price I think not!) so can't replace anyway. I'll send them back if they want (and they pay) but I don't know why they would want them. I'm feeling silly now as I honestly thought high end neoprene would be nicer. Won't make that mistake again!

Watching Aaron Paul on Top Gear (a bit behind live)... mmmm :)

OneLittleLady · 02/03/2014 20:52

I just found my mum's embroidered tunic top from the 60's. it even has authentic 'joss stick' burns in it Grin

LinusDKD · 02/03/2014 20:54

Oh don't worry about it shop!

Postage would be more than the price of the whole ST. Wink

QueenCadbury · 02/03/2014 21:06

Is it absolutely pissing it down anywhere else or just here in the SW? At least I can out all thoughts of spring on hold as I'll be back in the hunters tomorrow Grin

blair hope they refund you. I wouldn't want a bobbly bum either.

shopafrolic · 02/03/2014 21:12

Raining here too :(

OP posts:
OneLittleLady · 02/03/2014 21:14

Raining here as well. It's been grey and chilly all day though.

libertychick · 02/03/2014 22:06

am on hols in the sun - no rain here, no sir-ee!
Am also slightly drunk. Was in a bar earlier with lots of 80's music and the video of the Top Gun song 'Take my breath away' was on and it made me remember I had a total style crush on Kelly McGillis when I was 13 and now I'm thinking I could channel that look with a black pencil skirt, white shirt, biker jacket, sheer black tights and maybe ankle boots to make it a bit more modern!! My hair is getting to that shape ATM and after the beach today I want blond highlights!! Those of you who have met me - I probably need to be talked down Grin

Drywhiteplease · 02/03/2014 22:36

Liberty sounds like you're having a fab time! Grin
I had my hair permed and cut into a bob in the 80s just like hers.Grin
