It's been a while since I set one up so thought I'd do the honours.
For glass half full fashion fanatics. Bring a positive attitude, a love of clothes and lots of lovely links. All welcome, from high street to high end.

Thanks but our anniversary isn't until the 3rd
I was just choosing my gift early :o

Annianni · 27/02/2014 18:23

I've never tried anything on from Joules.
Apart from walking past their clothes in JL, I've never been in a shop either.

LinusDKD · 27/02/2014 18:48

Evening!

I'm feeling the same justa, fed up with my winter clothes and I end up wearing the same thing over and over again.

I have worn ballerina flats without socks but only because none of my boots look right with my Jimmies.

Thanks decam, I am still not convinced about those NB's. I like them on others but not sure they will suit me.

Drywhiteplease · 27/02/2014 19:10

Shop I forgot to say, love the shoes, v me, totally impractical. You know me well.
Joules stuff is not me. Feels horsey no offence to Grumpy a bit gymkhana mum, or horsey pretenders.Grin
I've been catching up oh The Sewing Bee....it's making me feel like getting my machine out.
Oh...the parcel........Secret is sending me some shoes Grin to try for my racing day, it's v exciting and one of those lovely MNV things that ordinary people don't believe happens.

shopafrolic · 27/02/2014 19:19

Love that Dry MNVoguettes rock!

LinusDKD · 27/02/2014 19:25

Oh dry I hope they are perfect! Good one secret!

OneLittleLady · 27/02/2014 19:37

Yay, the blueberry and raspberry muffins I baked have turned out perfectly, soft and really fruity! Grin this is an achievement as I'm not very good at baking Grin

Mignonette · 27/02/2014 20:29

Well done One Smile

OneLittleLady · 27/02/2014 20:36

Thanks Mig Dp is away tonight and was away last night so I'm all on my own. He's away for two nights next week as well. I miss him but it's not so bad, it's giving me time to listen to some music lectures and some watch some others about studying techniques. Every day is a new chance to learn Smile

libertychick · 27/02/2014 20:37

Decam just noticed you are planning to ebay the Gap jeggings - what's gone wrong??

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/02/2014 20:53

Evening all! :)

Thanks for the good wishes re my win. I think I'm going to put it towards a bag (to be bought in America in May) probably a Reed Krakoff Atlantique but that's just the current obsession... (moved on from the Pashli somewhat).

Yum One I've just had dinner but those muffins sound delicious! And mig's daughter's cake too, beautiful.

Great jacket justa, I'm sure I've seen that before, maybe on all worn out blog?

Love the wedding dress talk and pics. Not sure what I would have at my potential future wedding. The idea of planning to spend loads on a dress to be specifically worn once is quite alien to me these days, it's all about cpw Wink (I'm so not a romantic!)

LinusDKD · 27/02/2014 21:34

Saw this and thought of grumpy

libertychick · 27/02/2014 22:06

That jumpsuit is absolutely gorgeous Linus. Would be perfect on Grumpy.

Decameron · 27/02/2014 22:37

Liberty, they are just too big, I should have bought a 27. They fit really well in the vapor wash but I bought them in the darker wash w/o trying them on. So off to ebay they go as money is required for my lust list!

Decameron · 27/02/2014 22:39

Blair, those Reed Krakoff bags are fabulous!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 27/02/2014 22:48

I know Decam! :) I can't wait to see them in real life. Might have changed my mind again by then though.

What's currently on your lust list? The purple burberry tote still?

Turquoiseblue · 28/02/2014 08:12

I can't see any wedding dresses. Darn iPhone.
Sounds lovely though.
Nice shirt Decam.
Speaking oh phones - shop how are you getting along with your new one ?
Marsha - hair.

Decameron · 28/02/2014 08:25

One, you now have me wanting a blueberry and raspberry muffin! I really don't have the patience for baking, I can just about manage fairy cakes with the DDs when they want to bake.

I have never bought anything from Joules either, just for the DDs. I like the odd thing from Boden though.

Blair heading up the lust list (right now as I also change my mind!) are:

  1. Grey boots - I've ordered grey Jalouse and panic ordered Fiorentini & Baker boots (long term lust Wink) to compare (with some of my bag insurance money) last night when I saw stocks were low! I fear I will prefer the F&B.
  2. Normally don't go in for jewellery much but my necklaces which my mother left me have been missing for months so have none. My dad gave me some money for my birthday so considering this Paloma Picasso Loving Heart pendant.
  3. Do like the Burberry bags a lot still but waiting for summer sales. I had gone off Mulberry but saw this the other day and very keen on it. I don't mind the plaque at the front.
  4. Silver ballet flats
  5. White Equipment shirt but my friend will bring it over from NY.

And that's the current list. Then I'll move on to summer!

Decameron · 28/02/2014 08:26

These are the Fiorentini and Baker. Will have to be perfect at that price to keep them though.

LinusDKD · 28/02/2014 08:56

Morning!

My Asos baseball tee arrived today and I really like it. It is out of my comfort zone as it is quite a sporty look (duh!) but it looks good with my Jimmies.

Maybe some NB's would complete the sporty look? Wink

LinusDKD · 28/02/2014 08:58

baseball tee

Umlauf · 28/02/2014 09:12

Morning. Thunderstorms here to match my mood. Our standard 60 euro service car last night ended up costing us 900 euros as they kept finding stuff wrong. I am not a car person and didn't spot any of it. Worst still, the car place is in the middle of nowhere next to a giant shopping mall, and we had to wait there for FIVE HOURS and DH wouldn't let me shop at all due to the car expense!!

But I saw some gorgeous bits in Zara and massimo dutti. Sad

Joules is DHS favourite shop so we visit their Bicester store frequently and I have a couple of their intarsia knit jumpers that are insubstantial but the must flattering jumpers I own. My mum, who is a jaeger/whistles/Paul costelloe lady, swears by their jeans (she's 54). They also used to do a joules boutique and I have the most beautiful silk shorts from there, but they've got rid if it I think, I think it's a gem-amongst-a-horsey-sea sort of place.

blair there is so much on my lust list right now but it pains me to think of it what with car gate.

QueenCadbury · 28/02/2014 09:28

Morning. dec love the necklace. I love Paloma Picasso stuff and most of my tiffanys stuff is her designs. Nice boots and bag too (although the plaque would annoy me).

umlauf bad news about the car. Such a lot especially when not budgeted for.

I've never bought anything from joules either. I once really liked a blouse but the fit was weird.

The only thing on my wish list at present is more jeans. Since slimming down I only have 3 pairs that fit and as I wear them every day it's not quite enough if a pair gets dirty each day. I might even try some skinnies Wink but I'm quite missing not having any boot cuts that fit as they do look best with converse IMO.

Umlauf · 28/02/2014 09:47

Oh shop I love those sandals! they were on brandalley recently for even less and I dithered because I have the Gigi's in good but I like those more!!!

Mignonette · 28/02/2014 10:49
