santamarianovella · 09/02/2014 20:08

Evening all!
Its always nice to here about the MU, novice, hope the party went well,

linus well done, does this mean you've reached your target weight?

marsha hope the flight went ok?

Dh and I went to see wolf of Wall Street on Friday, and I think I must be the only person not crazy about it,it was good, bit too long, and I think it should be classified as porn, group sex scenes and that jonah hill pool scene is rather too much! But Leo dicaprio is looking remarkably young, even dh commented and said he can't believe Leo is 3 years older than him,he looks like he is still in his early 30s!
I wore my lanvin boots and vanessa Bruno skirt and top,but half way through the movie, and after devouring a bowl of popcorn and some fish and chips I ended removing my boots ,and dozed off for a few minutes Blush,

LinusDKD · 09/02/2014 20:31

Not quite my target weight yet santa.

I have two actually! Target weight A is only 3.5 kilos away and target weight B (my wedding day weight) 5.5 kilos.

Once I have reached target weight A I will see if I want to continue to target weight B. Grin

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 09/02/2014 20:34

Santa you're a woman after my own heart! I fall asleep every time I go to the cinema. Agree about Leo too - he's like Benjamin Button.
Dry I've always found a kitten heel serves me well unless you count the time I got the heel stuck in the grill coming out of the owners and trainers bar at Royal Ascot and pulled the tip off. Can be as elegant as a heel without the all-day foot pressure.

Drywhiteplease · 09/02/2014 20:38

Ooh yes Grumpy that's a great idea....the ones I've seen are too high and will cripple me I think. I guess I could look at navy too and get a pewter bag.
linus I will pop into L K b and try on. Thanks for those

santamarianovella · 09/02/2014 20:39

Thats not bad,i bet you look exactly as you did on your wedding day,My wedding day weight was 50kg Sad and now I'm between 53-54, and I still fit into my old clothes,

LinusDKD · 09/02/2014 20:44

I weighed 50 kilos for most of my teens, apart from after one very stressfull exam period at university when I weighed 47 kilos.

Everyone said I looked awful apart from DM who thought I looked great. Hmm

I put on quite a bit of weight at uni and then some more after meeting DH and especially when we moved to London. I blame the English bread or the stuff that is called bread but is really square shaped styrofoam

santamarianovella · 09/02/2014 21:19

grumpy it was very long! I'm not a huge fan of going to cinema and much prefer to watch at home ,but dh wanted to see the movie after reading all the glowing reviews.
dry why don't you have a look at selfridges shoe department when you come to London? I saw some lovely kitten heels there, but I'm not sure about the name,I think Stuart witzmen
linus Im not a fan of english soft bread either! i miss Swiss bread! Specially baser brot and that posh bread that can only be found in Zurich, can't remember the name! With slices of cheese and good jam yum!

Drywhiteplease · 09/02/2014 22:02

Good idea santa and I'm sorry to go on and on....I have plenty of time! just get the occasional wave of panic.........

BrandyAlexander · 09/02/2014 22:06

Hello! Exhausted! Dd (and all her friends) had a great time though she had the guaranteed meltdown at bedtime! The soft play centre were badly organised and party didn't start off too well but they pulled it out of the bag. Shop, the cake is deliciousGrin it didn't have my expected gold coins in the middle for that price but it was lovely! Dd loved the gift bags (mostly got from the little things website) so hope her friends did too, especially with the last minute running into town.

Now, for my fashion faux pas du jour.....oh the shame...Blush....

I am wearing hot pink bra set (Fantasie I think) today. The Me & Em top I was loving earlier? It's bloody see through. I didn't realise because I was wearing it under a sweater. We don't have full length mirrors in our bedroom (our cheapskate vendors prised them off the dressing room) so I got dressed and then went into another bedroom to check overall outfit. It got hot at the soft play so I took the sweater off. I may as well have not had the top on. Dh didn't tell me because he "thought I was being trendy". Hmm

Drywhiteplease · 10/02/2014 06:45

Grin Novice!! At least it was a nice bra.

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 08:19

Novice Glad the party went well. Re: fashion faux pas - I wouldn't worry about it - the sights I see at our local soft play Hmm
Morning all. Dug out my A&W blue chinos today with grey I&I sweater, Ash jalouse when I get back from muddy school run.
Skipping pilates this morning as not feeling great. Will walk the dog extra fast instead. Interesting things happening since I've changed my diet Sleep !

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 09:22

One are you about?
I was going to EBay the cat but I remember you repined it. It's an XL - I wear it slouchy. Would you like it? PM me your address if you would and I'll pop it in the post. A few sequins missing but not noticeable......

Annianni · 10/02/2014 09:39

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 09:44

Oh YY - Happy Birthday Umlauf have a fab day.

LinusDKD · 10/02/2014 09:53

Happy birthday Umlauf! Thanks

Decameron · 10/02/2014 09:55

Happy birthday, Umlauf!

Turquoise, yes, I've sold Prada, Mulberry, Louis Vuitton bags etc on eBay. Set a high reserve price, take loads of photos and provide the receipt if you still have it. Also you can suggest they verify the bag's authenticity on The Purse Forum.

Glad you enjoyed the mu. My Sat was a bust and couldn't go anywhere as car wouldn't start again. Something keeps running down the battery.

Anyway, yesterday was better as went to Westfield for a couple of hours on my own and bought Stuart Weitzman navy snakeskin heels in Russell & Bromley sale for £60, new makeup, another pair of Gap 1969 jeggings (am a total jeans snob normally but I love these!) and was torn between the navy Burberry bag and a red or navy Gucci disco, didn't buy either but Friday's the day!

Dry I am sure you will find shoes to fit the bill in Russell & Bromley.

Decameron · 10/02/2014 09:56

Hope you feel better soon, Shop.

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 10:27

Oh I'm not too bd Decam just having a can't be bothered day I think. Hope car is sorted soon.

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 10:27

bad

Annianni · 10/02/2014 10:29

Hope you're ok Shop.

On my way out wearing my silver Superga and the Aiden boyfriends... Not sure if it works or not, might pin a photo later... Need to return all the things I bought last week when I was upset Blush

OneLittleLady · 10/02/2014 10:51

Happy birthday Umlauf Thanks Wine Cake

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 11:11

WTF are the Outnet doing with those HIDEOUS advertising panels down either side of their site? Hate, hate, hate!
But they do have some lovely Equipment bits in...... Those who have met me please can you take a look you know where and let me know your thoughts?

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 11:17

OMG you can't even turn the ads off on the Outnet. Fiat have got more space on their page than they have!!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 10/02/2014 11:21

I know shop I was wondering what that was about, thought my ad blocker had failed! Sent them a report so maybe it'll get blocked soon! Very annoying.

But yes loads of lovely things on there today.

Happy birthday Umlauf! Have a great day.
