I messaged them too - it hurts your eyes to browse. I can't be bothered!

OneLittleLady · 10/02/2014 11:33

Ahh, I hate intrusive ads, especially those that are on the sides of pages. With having vision problems that mean I can't see at the sides, I don't exactly see them but if they flicker/flash/move it distorts the vision I do have and makes it difficult for me to actually focus on what I want to look at!

LinusDKD · 10/02/2014 11:40

For dry

flats for you to put in your bag and wear at RA when you're feet start to hurt. Wink

Maybe not very glamourous but definitely comfortable!

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 11:42

Bugger - I shouldn't have dithered - that top has gone :(

Annianni · 10/02/2014 11:53

Add it to your wishlist Shop, if it's meant to be, it'll come back into stock.

Annianni · 10/02/2014 11:55

Just returned 7 items of clothing... I feel quite virtuous now and hopefully dh won't have a heart attack when he checks the bank account

AmberNectarine · 10/02/2014 12:01

dry the only shoes I can do all day in are Russell and Bromley. I would keep heel height to 8cm or below too.

BecauseIsaidS0 · 10/02/2014 13:41

Happy birthday, umlauf!

I had a fashion fail today. I had a massage and a facial in the afternoon so I decided to go out for dinner just as I was (cargo shorts and a yellow J Crew t shirt).

We went here thinking it'd be all chilled and casual...and it turned out to be one of these super hip fashionable Aussie places. Every woman there except for the Balinese waiters was about two heads taller than I and about ten shades blonder and tanner. Lots of backless little dresses, sequins and floaty maxis. And because I'm a bit sunburnt I hadn't bothered with even basic makeup.

Felt totally SadEnvy. DH, of course, didn't notice any of this and insisted on taking a picture of me in all my sunburnt, greasy splendor.

Annianni · 10/02/2014 13:52

Aw... That's lovely Because, he loves you!!!

I've just tried some pewter metallic Virgos for £29.
They didn't have my size and the 7 was too big.
Now thinking I should have bought them and put them on ebay.

Also tried some jalouse for £49 and some Pettys for £49. Good job Marsha's on holiday! :o

SecretSquirrel13 · 10/02/2014 13:53

Where Anni?? And do they have a website?

Annianni · 10/02/2014 14:05

Will pm you SS, it's a shop you could visit. Not saying on here incase I go to their other branch..

shopafrolic · 10/02/2014 14:43

Can you PM me too Anni?

I thought the NB had come back into stock in the green, and was sorely tempted to buy them, but then I refreshed the page and they don't have them in a 7.5 after all. Not my fashion day today. But in non fashionable news I have made lots of lovely homemade soup, and packed and posted by Ash Bowies, Jones brogues and French Sole ballet flats off to new homes via EBay.

OneLittleLady · 10/02/2014 14:50

I can't decide if I should get rid of my heels or not. On one hand, I don't want to give and admit defeat to this shitty disease but on the other, I don't want them there in my face reminding me that my leg doesn't work properly so I can't wear them. Maybe I should just put them away for a while and see how things are in a few months.

SecretSquirrel13 · 10/02/2014 14:50

Thanks Anni. Sorely tempted to break the spending ban. Hatching a plan where I buy a pair for me and a further pair to eBay at twice the price which will effectively make mine free so I haven't spent anything...right???

Annianni · 10/02/2014 15:03

Wah.... The Liverpool branch don't have any left Sad

Happy birthday Umlauf and belated happy birthday to everyone else I have missed this weekend! I did try to post but for some reason it all disappeared.

Because the watercress cafe looks great-I bet you looked fab though. I always feel a bit intimidated by tall very well groomed women so understand where you are coming from.

Grumpy I found this yesterday whilst looking for a jumper I saw in NYC and stupidly didnt buy. There is also a scarf to go with it!

Saw these on Does my Bum...', also some blue Kurt Geiger block heels. I really like them but wonder how long block heels will last?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 10/02/2014 19:31

I love that Fedup! DD1 thinks I'm mad that I keep buying horsey things - she just doesn't get me Grin. She would buy them too, but at 19 she's still too close to the age when she used to wear horsey things in that Pony Club way. I'm hoping my horsewear fascination is treated with a more fashion-forward appreciation.

In Dry February news, I'm wavering. Aside from Mig's delicious clutch, I have my eye on a little tweed bag which is just so sweet for spring. Mind you, I could happily give just about any of the Kate Spade bags on Nordstrom a new home.

Drywhiteplease · 10/02/2014 20:31

Evening all! I'm so late today......Unlauf happy birthday! hope you're having Wine now!
Linus I can't see those little shoes butno resume they're the folding ballet types . I must admit I had thought to buy a pair to wear on the train and after too.
AMAZING NEWS!!! I can get my bag EARLY....Ebay has gone well so I'm going to buy it during half term, next week......oh JOY!
Shop hope you're ok....I bet you're looking so cool in your trainers! all I'm seeing at the moment is funky women in skinnies and coloured trainers.

Drywhiteplease · 10/02/2014 20:34

Your fault Linus love

LinusDKD · 10/02/2014 20:40

I think it was amber who suggested R&B dry.

Good news about the bag, so excited for you!

BrandyAlexander · 10/02/2014 20:42

Evening all! I need slipper boots and slippers that you can put in the wash. That don't cost a fortune I should add. Can anyone point me in right direction?

I look about as unstylish as one can imagine today. WFH though haven't done muchBlush. As I tucked into the chocolate mousse on Saturday telling Sleep and Shop that I only feel like eating chocolate 2/3 days a month in the 2/3 days leading up to my period, you would have thought the penny would have dropped.Hmm

I have important meetings tomorrow, already fretting about what to wear too!

BrandyAlexander · 10/02/2014 20:44

Oooh well done Dry! I was telling Sleep I don't eBay. She's offered to do it for me.Smile I am always so impressed with anyone who gets the hang of it all!

Annianni · 10/02/2014 20:48

Novice, look in Boden's clearance section.
Squirrel got some cheap slipper boots recently from there.

Annianni · 10/02/2014 20:49

Fantastic Dry. Are you getting the navy?
