Tried on all the Peter Pilotto stuff and am very happy, it all fits perfectly and is nice quality. Roll on the good weather now!

fedup I was reminded at the weekend why I never ever go shopping with my DP. He just doesn't get it! He told me the Givenchy Pandora (here) looked like a cool bag (as in picnic bag). Why do I always look at bags that look like kitchen goods! (remembering the celine washing machine)

What a day! After 3 hours with a fake lawn (read AstroTurf) guy there is nothing I don't know about laying lawn like you lay carpet! Then 2 hours on live chat with Sky, oh it's all glam here. Oh and my washing machine broke down! No repair till Friday!

Still rocking curls Shop. I have located a hairdresser who cuts 'curly girl' style ie cuts it dry and I am booked in for next week. She cuts each curl individually and says it will take her about 2 hours but once done apparently it will grow in the right shape to maximise the curls. I'm excited and nervous - if it looks hideous afterwards I'll be calling Tony!

Good news on the Peter Pilotto stuff Blair. I was tempted to order some but I think the prints are too graphic and 'big' for me - I need smaller neater prints.

Thailland sounds great Umlauf. Like Linus I love Thai food.

Great choice. I'd look for a faded red with some orange-y tones and go mad with the brights. That look is in this Summer anyway. Silver sandals would look great with a winter white or white top. Go Boat neck off the shoulder with some detail or ribbing to the welt and neck to add interest. Then you can go silver with a shoe or a bright shoe. You could wear the red top with a silver shoe too but a matte silver in that case. Look out for slouch sweatshirt shapes which nonetheless have some tapering in the waist to give you a proper shape.

I'd wear a really crisp shirt with it too - white, tied at the waist or tucked in, big hoops on ears of an ear cuff, a red lip and flat pointed slingbacks - real Roman Holiday crossed with Dolce insouciance. Hair either really wild or sleeked back minimal ponytail/chic bob.

Also - and this may be controversial. I'd look for a camel coloured top or a deep rich chocolate brown. Something light and maybe silk for the chocolate and a textured light knit in camel for Spring.

Very strange Dry.

Rather like these and wondering what the sizing is like? Are they very narrow (have fat wide feet).

Have made a few sales on eBay which is now burning a hole in my pocket!

Fedup I have these ones and my feet are quite long and slim I think. I can happily get a tape measure and measure the width of the sole if you like (tomorrow as they are in DS' room).
You can usually get them cheaper than that I think. Anni is usually the woman who is fab at finding cheap Gigis - what do you reckon Anni?

That's great thanks Shop. I always think feet hanging over the edge of shoes/sandals looks awful so don't wish to fall victim myself.
