Right, onwards with fashion. The lovely Liberty has sent me some ace knitted samples for my wrist warmers. Very excited - not least because I am sitting at home with frozen fingers today.

No sales plans from me. Saving my money for holiday wardrobe. Also the extra work that dh usually does won't exist next year so we have to cut back on things I.e clothes

BR cardi arrived and have only had a quick try on. Initial thoughts are gorgeous colour but sequins are matte rather than shiny.

Best buy of 2013...? The saltwater sandals were definitely the best buy of the summer. Other than that I'd have to say having my colours done and my fuschia and red cardigans.

Probably my little Balenciaga giant hip - small but perfectly formed, I love her. The discovery of Uniqlo Men's crew necks has also changed my life a little bit and I love my Barbour.

Another boring weight loss update but I am now down to 15 stone 7! that's just over a stone lost now

Massimmo dutti coat a timeless piece that makes me feel chic but not frumpy. Will wear for years.

All the items are fairly classic I guess, but they will be in my wardrobe for many years I'm sure.

I think if I had to choose one it would be the Nancy bag just because it was impulse and for the fun I've had with it.

I slipped a Chanel red lipstick in Passion in amongst the Christmas purchase . Looked my sort of red (not too pink) in the shop, but in the light in my house it looks really bright. Not at all sure. I used to wear MAC chilli which is a brown/red which I thought was bright, but compared to Passion looks a very subdued red now. hope I haven't wasted my money.
Also snuck in a Gharani Strok sweater on the way through TK Maxx. Will pin a pic. 95%cotton,5% cashmere, grey marl round neck with slate grey long sleeves and diamanté shooting stars on the front sounds terrible but looks nice with jeans.

My best purchase of this year, by far

shop this is not the most exciting brand but this jumper looks quite nice.

My replacement animal print ballet flats from J Crew arrived and they are much better!

Such a difficult question re best buy this year. I looooove my Jimmies but they are really getting too big now

I am stil in love with my Céline bags and wallet and the Jalouses have been a revelation (bit late, I know) Oh and my beloved J. Choo bikers,
I wear them all the time.

And I have been living in my Me&Em dresses this summer (unfortunately their winter collection didn't appeal to me) and my Hush dresses this winter.

I got this in Anna this morning, had my eye on it for months so v pleased. Had a crazy hectic day, mostly spent on phone between breakdown cover, car dealership and insurance co. Dozy DH managed to fill our diesel fuelled car with petrol yesterday , so today it had to be towed away. Take a seat before reading cost to put right....£5,500 (!). Good news is our insurance covers such acts of stupidity - bad news is we may not have our car for Xmas hols, we are meant to be leaving London on Saturday! Brilliant timing DH .
