Hugs for dry

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 21:01

They are pretty much my anti-glass Mig Grin. I would look so silly. I have to have big geek frames.

Maybe like this this maybe.

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 21:03

Although I love them for you, of course!

I have to balance out my size.

Mignonette · 10/12/2013 21:05

They're nice too Marsha. I have big horn rimmed glasses, some narrow frames that make me look mean and my John Lennon ones.

I am going to attempt to go back to contacts in the NY.

Dry meant to say hugs for the sad part. Poor guinea.

QueenCadbury · 10/12/2013 21:12

Ah dry that's such a lovely story.

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 21:14

Love those marsha

Decameron · 10/12/2013 21:17

Sorry about your guinea pig, Dry but the rose between the paws did make me laugh.

That's a gorgeous skirt, Mig and I love your DD's tree topper.

I buy all my presents for myself (except for a box of truffles that I hate but DH thinks I love and buys every year) and my father doesn't do presents and gives me a wad of cash. It always fits and I hate surprises anyway!

Decameron · 10/12/2013 21:23

I'm not surprised YoungestPrincessCadbury sniffed out the chocolate decorations ... she's her mother's daughter!

Drywhiteplease · 10/12/2013 21:26

Guinea pig send of is not a patch on what I've got planned for me.......shoes ! Shoes! Shoes everywhere, everyone in amazing shoes! GrinGrin

QueenCadbury · 10/12/2013 21:29

Good evening ladies,
Dry- so sorry about the guinea pig, however adore the pink shoe box and rose petal burial.
Loving all the recent purchases and chat.

Can I please ask your opinion on
www.jimmychoo.com/en/women/shoes/boots/doreen/black-rugged-leather-knee-high--boots-132do0rgt00135.html?start=23
To wear with skirts (a whole new purchasing potential) and over skinny jeans.
Thanks stylish ladies! Grin

libertychick · 10/12/2013 21:59

Enjoying the anally retentive thread - was reading a few out to DH and we were having a laugh imagining ourselves behaving like that just to wind DD up someday!

V belated happy birthday to Dry and Turq.

I am Envy at all the weight loss stories. I'm just hoping to get through xmas without gaining loads of weight...cakes and biscuits everywhere at work.

Felt like a frump today - trousers I was wearing have stretched a bit and looked too big and I stupidly wore them with a cable knit waterfall style cardi - I looked like a granny. I feel a charity shop bagging session coming on.

Your DH sounds fab Amber!

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:06

Talk to me about wristwarmers ladies..... My hands are so cold all the time at home. What do I need?

OneLittleLady · 10/12/2013 22:07

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 22:09

TheWeek they are gorgeous. Did you get the bikers?

Shop the outnet has nice reduced ones I think.

Liberty I meant to say well done on the run ages ago. I had to get rid of a load of stuff on the weekend. Bit bored with it.

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:11

£53 on the Outnet!!!! Surely there are cheaper, just as warm ones elsewhere???

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:18

They're good theWeek lovely.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 10/12/2013 22:18

the sweetest alternative to a Christmas jumper

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:19

I bet Liberty could knit me some......

MarshaBrady · 10/12/2013 22:20

The cheaper ones must have gone, darn. I think saw some for under £20.

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:20

Nice Grumpy - I have the NW3 owl and the pugs. Love them both.

shopafrolic · 10/12/2013 22:21

These look super snuggly

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 10/12/2013 22:26

if anyone is stuck for a gift for Amber

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 10/12/2013 22:28

All you wristwarmer ladies - I think 40Bum featured them aplenty quite recently
