Happy Birthday! QueenC have a lovely evening, love all the presents, lucky you!

Dry - Those are lovely bags, I didn't realise TKMaxx had so many high end brands. Like the sound of your outfit with the bf jeans and leopard slipper flats, where did you get them?
Shop that Whistles sweatshirt is lovely and that shade of green is my favourite. I went to Hof but didn't see it there.
Novice your new bag is beyond lush! such a lovely colour.
I have quite a lot (£300) of Hof vouchers to spend that dh got given at work but bloody typical now can't find anything I like enough to buy. Any suggestions? I could wait for sales and get an Anya Hindmarch bag, If only Hof did Coach I really like their bags this season.

libertychick · 02/11/2013 18:40

Popping in late in day to say Happy Birthday QueenC Wine Flowers Smile

Off to check out the pics on pin.....

LinusDKD · 02/11/2013 19:06

Will try and catch-up later bit these are the things DC bought for my birthday (will have to wait until Monday to receive them and DS has hidden them in his room in the mean time)

jumper in a gorgeous plum colour. I love the zippers on the cuffs.

And this shirt from a brand I have never heard of but I have been walking last the shop window for ages lusting after this denim (or chambray, what is the difference? ) shirt for weeks.

It was such a pleasure trying things on (even with DH and DC present) as the weight loss is really showing. I even had to size down on the shirt and the jumper!

I also tried a lovely Weekend Max Mara skirt but I was afraid the cut might make me look too big. I adore the colours and the fabric though so I will pin it and see if I can get it in the sales. And the real bonus of the day was that I could fit in a size 38! But the skirt is not fitted so that might be the reason. Wink

This photo really doesn't do the skirt justice (the colours are a lot more vivid IRL) but was the only one I could find

skirt

I discovered today that you can send nail polish through the post, they just have to put a special sticker on the parcel. On another thread, I said to the Op that I'd send them a spare primer I had and I chucked in a few other bits and bobs I had spare to cheer her up as she seemed so down on herself. Hopefully the little parcel will make her smile Smile

one I really hope to meet you one day - you sound so lovely!

On the prosecco myself. Noticed Bollinger was on offer in Sainsbos today, may stock up for Xmas.

shopafrolic · 02/11/2013 20:06

Love a bit of Bolly - will take a look

LinusDKD · 02/11/2013 20:07

On the champagne here as well. Not Veuve though. might also have had a small White Lady whilst cooking

Funnily enough DP's drove to Reims today to stock up on champagne. That's Christmas sorted then. Grin

That is a lovely thing to do one!

Lovely presents queenc and you look stunning tonight!

Happy birthday casacastille!

So many scorpio's on MNV!

OneLittleLady · 02/11/2013 20:17

ehh, i just realised that post might come across as a bit braggy. I didn't mean it to at all Blush

pseudonymity · 02/11/2013 21:06

Hello MNV. Just reporting that I am feeling very pleased with my purchase today, a midi length vintage wool pencil skirt. It's amazing. It's a size 14 and has a 26 inch waist! Luckily it also accommodates my rather large hips. Looking forward to catching up on your musings.

shopafrolic · 02/11/2013 21:42

Love that AV jumper Linus
Really windy here tonight, bonkers weather.

OneLittleLady · 02/11/2013 21:46

it's really windy here too shop and it's pissing it down as well.

RubyLovesShopping · 02/11/2013 21:46

V windy here too shop, we often lose roof tiles when it's this bad.
No shopping news to report, enjoying the links of all the new purchases.

OneLittleLady · 02/11/2013 21:59

Found some tube skirts in the bottom of the wardrobe with tags still attached. Size 14 (must have bought them ages ago and forgotten about them), I risked trying them on and I really didn't think they'd fit BUT THEY DO!! Grin yes yes, I know, they are made of stretchy material but I'm taking it as a victory Grin

Annianni · 02/11/2013 22:21

Whose idea was it to drink prosecco tonight?
I'm drunk slightly tipsy.
Dh keeps laughing at me.
I am such a lightweight

Decameron did I really read that you sold 3 classic LV bags?!
Why would you do that?

Welcome Castille.

How much was the Bolly Amber?
I think we might need some :o

Oh, the pale grey Boden honeycomb jumper is here and it's nicer than the navy... I think.
Need to try it properly.

Thinking of you Foxy.
I'm dreading getting our kitchen done.
We've got a man coming next week to talk about putting central heating in
It'll be worth it when it's done.
But the floorboards being up, and the mess... awful!

I've run out of fizz.
Dh has suggested vodka.
Think that would be a very bad idea :o

Decameron · 02/11/2013 22:47

Anni, I stupidly decided that as they were handheld bags, I wouldn't use them again for years, unless I carried DD1 around inside one like a pomeranian. I wish I'd kept one of the bags, at least.

Well done on the weight loss, One. I love those types of skirts.

Drywhiteplease · 02/11/2013 23:29

Anni DO NOT mix grape and grain, you will regret it (leant from bitter experience)
Justaleopard flats fantastic value , have worn surprisingly well. bought in black suede too.love them.

OneLittleLady · 02/11/2013 23:32

Why do you tease me with links to OOS leopard pumps Dry ?!? I really wanted those but no sight of them in my local M&S and wasn't able to travel to the next city over at the time Sad

LinusDKD · 03/11/2013 08:08

Morning!

Look what I just got!

Pre-birthday breakfast in bed as doing it tomorrow would have been a bit difficult.

Hope it helps cure the slight hangover headache I have.

Drywhiteplease · 03/11/2013 08:46

Yum Linus

MarshaBrady · 03/11/2013 09:22

Perfect Linus! Looks so good.

I am joining you with eggs and coffee. Love Sunday breakfasts.

casacastille · 03/11/2013 09:54

Cor, you lucky thing Linus! Love all your new clothes. Happy birthday for tomorrow Flowers

I had rather a lot of champagne last night but it must've been good because astonishingly I have no hangover! The cake was amazing too, clever DD.

Now I must spend my birthday money. Starting with these TKMaxx jeans, perhaps? They won't make much of a dent in the budget, after all...Grin Plenty left for the gorgeous Habitat throw I've had my eye on (no link, as it's not on their website)

Have a good day allGrin
