DH working from home (I'm in same predicament as you were in yesterday Shop) working in the kitchen and taking calls and tutting when I talk. Told him that this is a kitchen, a family room and if he doesn't want me to talk he should go and work in his office and leave me to read MNV in peace or else I'll take the room and make it into my sewing room have always wanted one he's gone now Grin
Shop I bought the camel/pale blue tartan. Love it! Slept well but DH was home.
Unlauf I can really see you in that dress, v pretty
Have change from work clothes into burgundy skinnies tucked into Clarks brown mid calf boots, blush fitted, long v neck jumper and scarf electrician coming tonight Wink
QueenC what you're going through sounds horrendous. ......but cadburys before 8 is impressive.
Well done One
MrsR I agree with QC I only miss the shopping.

LinusDKD · 13/11/2013 14:47

I looked her up mig, it is Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele.

The stuff she comes out with (spoken in English with a thick French accent) is hilarious.

It was an HBO documentary called In Vogue, the Editor's Eye interviewing Vogue editors past and present.

Not sure where DH got the Bergdorf film from. Blush

Just put the September Issue in the dvd player for a quick look before picking up DC.

LinusDKD · 13/11/2013 14:57

I really like that dress umlauf and mig is right you can really accessorize it.

Great hair, lovely red lip, great jewelry, ...

Umlauf · 13/11/2013 15:00

I'll do a red lip and hair up with statement earrings, and it'll be freezing in church so I'll wear my posh long camel coat. What about legs and feet.. Black or nude tights? And shoes....? I've become crap at doing dressy Confused

Thanks!!

santamarianovella · 13/11/2013 15:56

umlauf I think that dress is very "you", a bright necklace would be perfect,

mrsr hope the the move is over and done with, and you have more time to chat with us.
queen hope you feel better,I believe in the healing powers of chocolates! So yes,its perfectly normal to have some before 8 !

I have not seen the September issue yet! Will rent it,

Would love to see scatter my ashes at bergdorf, the trailer was very funny,
Loved the part when Isaac said that one customer was trying something on and asked Betty how did she look? Betty replied: terrible ,but buy it,its not as terrible as what you came in Grin.

There is no hope for my sweater, took it back to dry cleaners, and they said that due to the way its knitted ,it was bound for the shape to change Shock I had it for two years, and washed it at home several times but i got some tomato sauce stains on it the other day ,so thought better to be safe than sorry and take it to a professional cleaner ! Oh the irony!

Drywhiteplease · 13/11/2013 17:24

Tartan scarf Alert
Eve Worn out has just posted this lovely. Now I know I hate acrylic,, but ok I'm fickle Grin and it's only a scarf!need to find Zara in London.

Umlauf · 13/11/2013 17:59

The link doesn't work for me dry

I love those Edinburgh woolen mill ones, curses for getting my Christmas shopping done so early! My mum would like one, and as it's 2 for £20 can play "one for you, one for me!" I love my burberry one though and can wear it in Spain without looking like I've raided the market stall.

shopafrolic · 13/11/2013 18:16

Love the September Issue - have stuck it on my list again.
Dry is the scarf good and big? Lots of wrapping around potential? I like the GAP one Amber but am put off by the fabric. Is it warm?
I can't rent the Bergdorf film until 2014 according to LoveFilm!

shopafrolic · 13/11/2013 18:21

Yip - I clocked those too Dry - still acrylic tho but maybe it doesn't matter for a fad?

shopafrolic · 13/11/2013 18:22

Santa surely they should have warned you before they cleaned it if that was the case? I'd at least be asking for my money back…..

shopafrolic · 13/11/2013 18:27

Someone else will need to set up the next edition BTW. I can't be arsed! Grin

RubyLovesShopping · 13/11/2013 18:27

A bit late to the scarf discussion but I have the EWM cashmere one in back watch and it is lovely and soft but wish it were wider.
Decam thanks for good advice re black lace skirt- have ordered one plus a grey Breton, a cream wool top (poss too frumpy) and the grey slouchy sweater I have been watching for a while and now further reduced. Also found a code for further 10% off, just have to hope it arrives fri not sat as Dh will be home to see it all! All on pin.

foxysocks · 13/11/2013 18:30

Hola lovelies. Am here, sobbing into my wine as I wait for the bath to fill. Can't even speak after the day I have had, about ten things have gone wrong with the fucking kitchen. I hate it! All the gloss and excitement has completely disappeared and I am sick to death of the whole thing.

RubyLovesShopping · 13/11/2013 18:30

Black watch not back watch!
Umlauf I love the Burberry navy check one but round here would just look market-yGrin
I must not buy anything else now.

foxysocks · 13/11/2013 18:31

I would love a massive tartan scarf. I saw the plumo one at the start of the season and fell in love, nothing else I've seen has come close. No £ though ATM.

santamarianovella · 13/11/2013 18:34

foxy oh no! Is it completed?

MarshaBrady · 13/11/2013 18:40

Oh no Foxy Wine big hug. Wish we could fix it for you, by the power of vogue.

Ruby great shopping, wish I had got that skirt too. Great find by Decam!

MarshaBrady · 13/11/2013 18:41

OneLittleLady · 13/11/2013 18:49

Wine and Thanks for foxy

AmberNectarine · 13/11/2013 19:09

shop I am normally the definition of a fabric fascist but I love that scarf - it's warm and delicious. Is a blokes one though. If you use the 30% Grazia voucher it's like £14. Big fan.

Turquoiseblue · 13/11/2013 19:22

Quick hello before the tread finishes. One hope you re feeling better and kudos on the music :)
