Yes that made me laugh Marsha when i re-read the thread. Explains why we are all goading each other into spending too much so wisely on clothing and some such

Mig the closest I've got to to scary is being told in one of the christmas threads that the hampers I make for my sister and family because they really really can't afford anything more than the basics at christmas is just a thoughtless, wasteful and unappreciated gift and I should buy them something proper

Rude posts like that only come from people who hide behind their online persona and wouldn't dare be that rude to your face IRL.

Oh, I haven't Linus I know my sister appreciates it and that's all that matters. Besides, I also buy them 'proper' gifts on top of that!

Mig you think you've got frazzled brain.....today I went to cashpoint and tried tapping the screen! couldn't understand why it wouldn't work! I've only been using it for 30yrs but BUTTONS are soooooo passe!

Yay, DH has just booked out flights and hotel for a weekend in London after Christmas!

Dry . I tackled somebody who has been massively unpleasant to many other posters and name changed too. Those of us who don't name change have to deal w/ the consequences of our posts. good and bad. I went a bit too far but I am not sorry. Not this time.

One My greatest pleasure was the hamper I used to get every year. They are fabulous presents and thoughtful too. Any old sod can just order a parcel (me, quite frequently) whereas a hamper takes knowledge of the person and caring about what they like

I really like the denim on that site i linked to earlier. The cuts and dyes are really spot on but a bit £ although if you wear jeans a lot, they are a relative bargain.

I love the thought of 2 birthdays like the queen . I also loved that after wishing me happy birthday 9 days ago you all followed mig and did it again .

My liver wouldn't cope with a birthday every 9 days

Is it me next (8th Dec) or anyone else before? I have taken a leaf out of Shop's book and been proactive and organised lots of things. Can't wait!
