Oh yes they look fab Linus, great colour.

shopafrolic · 11/11/2013 17:34

I checked on FB - it definitely isn't her birthday today....confusion reigns.

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2013 17:41

ah well, any excuse for fizz and balloons Grin

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2013 17:46

I copied Mig Grin declare your sources. Wink

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 18:28

Am I losing my mind? I could have sworn I read on here upthread, somebody wishing Queen a happy Birthday and now I cannot find it Confused.

I know i read it minutes before I posted????

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 18:31

It must have been Ambers post at 21:45 and I have somehow combined the word Queen and Amber's DD Birthday reference

Sorry Queen ( I need a fool emoticon).

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2013 18:37

Ah Mig easily done!

LinusDKD · 11/11/2013 18:42

Brainfreeze from too much ice cream mig Wink

Drywhiteplease · 11/11/2013 18:49

Love the tidal wave of birthday wishes.... mwaaa haaa haaa rubs hands conspirationally

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 18:50

Brain nuclear fissure from a combination of nerves about this mornings Dentist visit and ranting on another thread. I need to stay away from unhinged MNers as I will become one by osmosis otherwise.

How the hell did I misread that?

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2013 18:51

Mig you should take my approach and read but never comment on the more.....scary threads on here Wink

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 18:53

I have got to follow your advice One. I have been rampaging. Grin. I used to be mellow (((((sigh)))))))

MarshaBrady · 11/11/2013 18:53

I love the level of trust, I'd blithely follow you guys anywhere Grin

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 18:55

Yes that made me laugh Marsha when i re-read the thread. Explains why we are all goading each other into spending too much so wisely on clothing and some such Smile

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2013 18:56

Mig the closest I've got to to scary is being told in one of the christmas threads that the hampers I make for my sister and family because they really really can't afford anything more than the basics at christmas is just a thoughtless, wasteful and unappreciated gift and I should buy them something proper Hmm

LinusDKD · 11/11/2013 19:02

Don't take any notice of them one!

Rude posts like that only come from people who hide behind their online persona and wouldn't dare be that rude to your face IRL.

OneLittleLady · 11/11/2013 19:04

Oh, I haven't Linus I know my sister appreciates it and that's all that matters. Besides, I also buy them 'proper' gifts on top of that!

Drywhiteplease · 11/11/2013 19:05

Under another name a while back I was hugely flamed......never again.

Mig you think you've got frazzled brain.....today I went to cashpoint and tried tapping the screen! couldn't understand why it wouldn't work! I've only been using it for 30yrs but BUTTONS are soooooo passe!

LinusDKD · 11/11/2013 20:06

Yay, DH has just booked out flights and hotel for a weekend in London after Christmas!

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 20:15

Dry Grin. I tackled somebody who has been massively unpleasant to many other posters and name changed too. Those of us who don't name change have to deal w/ the consequences of our posts. good and bad. I went a bit too far but I am not sorry. Not this time.

One My greatest pleasure was the hamper I used to get every year. They are fabulous presents and thoughtful too. Any old sod can just order a parcel (me, quite frequently) whereas a hamper takes knowledge of the person and caring about what they like

I really like the denim on that site i linked to earlier. The cuts and dyes are really spot on but a bit £ although if you wear jeans a lot, they are a relative bargain.

QueenCadbury · 11/11/2013 20:49

I love the thought of 2 birthdays like the queen Grin. I also loved that after wishing me happy birthday 9 days ago you all followed mig and did it again Grin Grin.

I've had a lovely day meeting another mumsnetter

shopafrolic · 11/11/2013 20:59

I thought I was going mental Queen! After the week I had, they made me question my sanity! Grin

Mignonette · 11/11/2013 21:21

Queen you are a good sport. Mr Mig has suggested we have a birthday for you every 9 days. Blush Blush Blush

QueenCadbury · 11/11/2013 21:47

My liver wouldn't cope with a birthday every 9 days Grin

Drywhiteplease · 11/11/2013 21:51

Is it me next (8th Dec) or anyone else before? I have taken a leaf out of Shop's book and been proactive and organised lots of things. Can't wait!Grin
4days 'till London shopping day................
