Tu clothes as Sainsburys particularly their pj bottoms which are 100votton anf heaper than M and S and are just as nice.

Triumph t shirt bra bought from TK Maxx for less than eight quid and the most comfortable bra that I own including my beloved Fantasie bras.

Superdrug restoring oil-I use this at night and it has in my opinion made a difference to my skin.

I ha a braun for years but got sonicare two years ago and much prefer it, teeth were never this smooth and clean feeling with the braun.

Snog · 19/11/2013 21:00

This is the new oral b that has the same kind of head as a normal manual toothbrush

Snog · 19/11/2013 21:03

Cardoon the sonicare is notorious for packing up after about 18 months. the new oral b is in a different class imo and i hope it will last longer too.

cardoon · 19/11/2013 21:22

Is a normal head better than a rotating one then?

FoxyHarlow123 · 20/11/2013 05:39

Lots of good ideas for Christmas presents here!

Floisme · 20/11/2013 07:08

My revelations: that if I wear the right bra and 'scoop', I am not flat chested but a 28F!

That you can buy great cosmetics from the grocery counter at a fraction of the cost of those silly creams, e.g. coconut oil which I now use as a cleanser, night cream and body moisturiser - plius, if I say so myself, I smell lovely!

Both thanks to threads on S&B. Thanks to all concerned

Snog · 20/11/2013 11:42

cardoon I was dubious about how good a normal shape rush would be and only changed to oral b because the sonicaire doesn't have a very long lifespan. It was a revelation how much better the oral b brush was at cleaning my teeth.
this is the one I have - from the trizone series

Walnut8 · 21/11/2013 03:56

so many but probably the biggest is that dairy does not agree with me - my skin is so much clearer and the baby weight has fallen off since I cut it out almost completely.

Also ... NARS orgasm blush does not suit everyone (ie me). Clinique innocent peach blush is much better on my skintone.

Oh, and also glycolic/salicylic lotion at night gives me much smoother skin.

I need to try Ruby Woo! Scared of red lippy, it just seems to make my teeth look erk.

cwtchability · 21/11/2013 07:26

Superdrug Naturally Radiant range - especially the hot cloth cleanser, and I have found haircut at last. Look 10y younger and 100x smarter Smile .

BoFo · 21/11/2013 19:31

Babylis Big hair thanks to S&B talk board and Babara Daley primer from tesco - cheap but highly effective!

sweetiepie1979 · 22/11/2013 10:09

You know the healthy mix bourgeois range that was talked about further up thread, is it the foundation or concealer that's fab! Or both?

Danceasifnooneswatching · 22/11/2013 14:36

What is a calamine lotion facial?Smile

MrsBradleyCooper · 23/11/2013 09:05

Marking place!

NicolaSeven · 23/11/2013 20:12

I just sleep with calamine on my face dance . It got rid of all the annoying bumps under my skin (you know, the almost-but-not-quite spots) and made my pores a bit smaller.

Danceasifnooneswatching · 23/11/2013 20:17

Will try that thank you Smile

holycowwhatnow · 23/11/2013 22:33

.

foxdongle · 24/11/2013 22:56

best thing - stopped drinking sugary drinks (including fruit juice) (except a few containing alcohol at weekends). instantly better skin and didn't even miss them one bit.

also use L'Oreal no sulphates shampoo now.My hair which was prone to going slightly frizzy no longer does and I only wash it about every 5/ 6 days now with no itching etc- my hair is so much better for it.

I now buy less clothes, only ones that I actually wear and like and have halved what I spent last year and they all fit lovely into my wardrobe since I sold /charity shopped the "it'll do" stuff.

evelynj · 27/11/2013 22:25

Ooh, please give me more things to add to my Christmas wish list.

I'm HoC autumn so warm skin toned so not sure if ruby woo will suit me-is it blue based red? Really want it to suit!

My mil is a creme de la mer addict & from S&B I have made her a budget range hamper of skincare goodies, (mostly botanics & superdrug). Am worried she'll be Hmm

She does only buy whoopsied food tho!

I'm gonna ask for some other vit e stuff & candles from the recent candle thread, (not exactly S&B but close)

madmomma · 28/11/2013 16:41

evelyn I think that's a really lovely gift. I'm a hardcore product addict and buy loads of high-end stuff, but I would be delighted with that present. It's always a treat to try new products.

evelynj · 28/11/2013 18:01

Thanks madmomma-that's reassuring.

Meant to add before that the elemis beauty flash Balm feels nice & smells great. I got it as a freebie with red magazine & used it in hospital when having my baby girl a few months ago. Little luxury that was fabulous!
