Fabulous peacoat Shop.
Lovely colour on you.

I want your doors Envy

shopafrolic · 16/09/2013 12:17

Thanks Anni - all our doors have cracks, or bits falling off, or upside down handles, or locks that get stuck - death trap house with a toddler!!

i love it with the goldsign shop, lovely color.
love your door!

LinusDKD · 16/09/2013 12:42

Wow mig great news! Can you link when it's on the blog?

shop I would put my pj's back on and go to bed if the DC weren't off nursery today. But I understand trying on coats is a well proven remedy for all kinds of ailments. Wink

dry if I had the right red and pink combo I would definitely give it a go. Piccies please?

shopafrolic · 16/09/2013 12:44

Anni tried the code but it isn't working so the Pistols will have to wait a while longer. TBH I'd have to sell DS to pay for them ATM now that the peacoat seems to be a keeper :)

Linus I will. It's going to be on Food 52 (unless I write a load of old crap [grin) but I do not know when.

Dry I love red and pink together. I think QueenC has some great examples on her colour combination pinboard.

OneLittleLady · 16/09/2013 13:26

Great news mig Smile

I think my cold is gone which is lucky as I'm due into surgery tomorrow afternoon

Dry be confident about your choice, you'll know yourself if it works for you or not.

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 13:58

Gah. I'm going to be naked all winter. Back from shopping and have spent ££ but on kids clothes, skylanders stuff, talking minion but nothing for me. I repeat, nothing for me. The trouble with having such an exact wish list is that you can't bloody find anything you want.

Anyway, moving on. shop lovely peacoat. I saw your coat in m&s and that too is lovely. I can see why you want black boots to go with it.

mig that's utterly fantastic news. Well done.

marsha I forgot to respond to the London question. If I was taking dd (7) I would take her to art galleries (she'd love to see some famous paintings) and to the theatre to see either Matilda or Charlie and the chocolate factory. Then we'd travel to the Harry potter studios the following day. Ds (5) wouldn't be interested in anything except going to hamlets to buy skylanders!

I've put a photo of my dc on pin board. For some reason it looks really odd though.

Decameron · 16/09/2013 14:02

Well done, Mignonette.

Blooming, I am following you on Pin, I'm suzmcgrath there. I have that Indian dowry box you pinned in pink in my daughters' room, it holds loads!

Liberty, it was so nice this morning that I felt mean taking DD2 shopping so we went to the park instead. I think I will take her to Matches to have a look at the Carven coat (they have toys in my local branch so she will be happy) this week and then head out for a few hours on Sunday on my own and check Burberry out then.

Peacoat looks great, Shop and get well soon.

Good luck with your surgery, One.

Decameron · 16/09/2013 14:02

I'd like a talking minion, QueenC. :)

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:09

I have ash boots in navy in my basket. £100 with the 30% off. Do I buy????? I didn't think the code would work!

Annianni · 16/09/2013 14:10

Do it Queenc :o

mignonette · 16/09/2013 14:11

Buy! They will transcend seasons Queen

Annianni · 16/09/2013 14:12

I've just had a try with coat, different jeans and boots.
Will do photos when the smaller size arrives in a few days.

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:17

Aaarrrggghhh. Can't believe I've just spent £100 on boots!!! Dh is going to kill me Grin.

Shit, that's what happens when you can't find anything you like whilst shopping!

They probably won't fit anyway.

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:19

my boots

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:21

I blame clarks. I've been waiting for weeks for these to come in stock.

mignonette · 16/09/2013 14:25

Queen They are lovely and such a change from the ubiquitous black. They are an investment and a perennial. I prefer them to the Clarks ones (even though they are cool too).

Annianni · 16/09/2013 14:36

Much better than the Clarks ones QC.

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:51

I'm still in shock Grin. It was such an impulse buy.

Decameron · 16/09/2013 14:55

The Ash boots are much nicer than the Clarks ones, QC.

Turquoise, did you buy the 5050s in Russell & Bromley? They will exchange them for you. If you didn't they have great repairs and will send them off.

QueenCadbury · 16/09/2013 14:59

dec I meant to say that the talking minion is very cute! I think ds will love him!

Turquoiseblue · 16/09/2013 15:04

Gorgeous boots, Queen C Smile Happy days.
Glad the pea coat s a keeper shop, hope you feel better soon.

mignonette · 16/09/2013 15:04

Queen am imagining your DD's tripping about in your shoes.

Turquoiseblue · 16/09/2013 15:09

this is the pink ganni coat I was talking about earlier
