A happy and safe place to talk fashion (from high end to high street), beauty and the arts. All welcome to bring a positive state of mind, lots of links and an eye for detail.

I'm a real catch, aren't I?

shopafrolic · 15/09/2013 21:05

I just looked at those too Shop wow. They are gorgeous Novice.

bloomingheather · 15/09/2013 21:17

Thanks for the lovely welcome everyone! And thanks too shop for keeping an eye out for me Smile. I already have a parka but it's almost 10 years old I think. I usually wear it on the coldest days here as it's so warm - it's almost like wearing a sleeping bag or something, although it does look better than that, I swear! It is very bulky though and I stay away from things like that now that I know my style a bit more as it swamps me.
Oh, and here is a link to one of my (much lusted after but waiting for sales) Pinterest pins - hope this works: Pin
I would love a link to the MNV board too if you don't mind?

MarshaBrady · 15/09/2013 21:19

Welcome Blooming! stick around Smile. I like the parka, not sure about the hemline. But it could be great on, shame they don't have it on a model.

BrandyAlexander · 15/09/2013 21:20

I am a little bit in love with them as they are my max heel height too Smilethey are £555, I will literally have to be sneaking them into the house and hope dh doesn't notice! But then again....I would want him to noticeWink

bloomingheather · 15/09/2013 21:28

santamarianovella thanks for your comment about the parka - I totally missed it the first time. Yes, I'm not usually keen on fleece either. It was the colour I loved and the fact that it was waterproof and didn't look too bulky. Sorry for not replying until now! You're welcome about the tees Smile

BrandyAlexander · 15/09/2013 21:34

god dry mrsR im still Grin Grin,at your posts,

novice saw these gorgeous booties today, while i was looking at the rockctud shoes for the hundredth time.

marsha the top is really gorgeous, its turning into an an obsession im afraid !

linus these frame denim are proper AW jeans they feel like they have cashmere or wool mixed , def recommend .

heather , im your height and i struggle with parkas too, have one really unflattering parka curtesy of dh!,and another that took me ages to find,is the fleece removable?

santamarianovella · 15/09/2013 22:02

marsha you asked about what dcs love to do in london, well besides the transport museum, and other usual things, dss who is into pirates ,loved ,loved the golden hinde ship,he requested if his birthday can be held there,

BrandyAlexander · 15/09/2013 22:03

Love Rockstuds too Santa. I would have a good long look too!

bloomingheather · 15/09/2013 22:08

I don't think so santamarianovella. Actually, the more I look at it, the more things I'm not sure about....I'm not keen on the cord thingy hanging down at the back or the round leather thing. I'm so glad I posted here about it before spending money on it! Will keep looking but onwards to the winter coat search I go (and I'm now obsessed with Frame jeans and the Sandro scarf someone posted earlier, oh and the Wesco bin that mignonette posted which I've now decided I need even though DP would have a breakdown if I even contemplated buying it Wink.

Drywhiteplease · 15/09/2013 22:12

wesco bin? I missed that. I have one in black.....best ever bin!!!!
