a very unhip 3!

libertychick · 31/07/2013 11:54

7! I think if you actually got 12 you couldn't be hip as it would mean you just spend your day on twitter and reading fashion mags! I got all the quotes right and they were all just guesses rather than anything I 'knew' people had said Grin. My fave is KL defining luxury as an extra slice of toast!

MarshaBrady · 31/07/2013 11:58

Yeh I said the toast one too Grin

libertychick · 31/07/2013 12:02

Spot the carb deprived among us! How did the house viewing go yesterday Marsha - any closer to a decision?

MarshaBrady · 31/07/2013 12:04

About to leave for it now! I was kind of hoping it would be cloudy have seen it in the sun and want to check all lighting possibilities

I did it for this one we're in too, just to check afternoon sun. Where we are is very bright and sunny so needs to be at least as light.

santamarianovella · 31/07/2013 12:06

i chose toast too,i read that he drinks a lot of diet coke,so i dont think he is a follower of weird diets!.

libertychick · 31/07/2013 12:08

I agree light is really important Marsha especially if you are mostly based at home - high ceilings, light, space to park and a decent sized garden are the most important I think - everything else can be changed.

santamarianovella · 31/07/2013 12:16

i dont think that can be classified as being picky marsha, light is very important, specially in a city like london, our current house lacks it,and i agree *liberty8 high ceilings is important ,and a decent sized kitchen too!

QueenCadbury · 31/07/2013 12:46

I scored 6 too.

Annianni · 31/07/2013 13:36

I got 8 too :o

Annianni · 31/07/2013 13:37

Check out the neighbours too Marsha...

MarshaBrady · 31/07/2013 13:59

Ok the dc loved it. Then they usually do! Owner was there but I'm kind of used to it now Grin. There is some one else on second viewing hope it doesn't ramp up the price too much. Thinking about a offer....

LinusDKD · 31/07/2013 14:35

I got a 7, how very average of me Wink

We got back at DP yesterday and it was soo lovely seeing the DC again.

Will try and have a proper catch-up tonight.

McNally · 31/07/2013 14:38

Very exciting Marsha!

MarshaBrady · 31/07/2013 15:46

Thanks McNally!

Welcome back Linus!

Santa yes we saw a lovely one on the weekend but the kitchen was weirdly in the middle of the house, so reception rooms on either side. It was big though and pretty nice.

Anni neighbours, yes couldn't see any Grin well not easily. It's one of the more secluded ones.

I am wondering what the psychological effect will be when the other person does their second viewing in a couple of days and they are told there is an offer already. It will probably make them want it more.

It's making me hesitate or perhaps I should just jump in.

Back to fashion very soon promise!

Hi everyone- am pit stopping and having panic attacks at the thought of what data roaming is costing - as a model once said "data roaming is not our friend". Not that I am a model or model like....Grin

We are getting on the ferry tonight and should be home about too-late-O clock. My son is flying back from Tunisia tonight too after gallivanting about in the Sahara here and at this hotel. I haven't put up any photos of our hol yet as will do that only when I have access to full photoshop Grin

Am loving the fashion-chat and plan to have a late breakfast in my own bed tomorrow and read it all properly. I have had a quick Pin binge whenever I can access WiFi but am properly scared of what Vodaphone will do to me.....

I got a 9. And Saltwaters are so much better than Chandelier earrings in 90c of heat but the latter are supposed to be cooler. Of course the metal in them heats up in the sun and burns a hole in the side of your neck but never mind -Il faut souffrir pour être belle!

shopafrolic · 31/07/2013 18:06

Need to catch up but just to say that Me&em maxis are now in the sale. Sorry if someone has already posted. Am on BB.

Someone give me a good coping mechanism that doesn't involve a. Chocolate (I've eaten all the supplies in the house), b. wine (big night tomorrow so trying to stay dry tonight), or c. Shopping (as will feel crap if break the ban). After 12h of 3dc I am going slightly insane. Manic Grin!!!

mignonette · 31/07/2013 19:08

You forgot drugs Queen Grin

QueenCadbury · 31/07/2013 19:14

If I had any mig I would use them right now. Either on me or the dc Grin. But hurrah, dh is finally home!!

AmberNectarine · 31/07/2013 19:28

One glass of vino will do you know harm QueenC

mignonette · 31/07/2013 19:56

I always resort to 1] Ice Cream; 2] Vogue magazine; 3] Great film in bed with 1] 4] sitting in the garden at dusk just listening to the noises (I sound bloody unhinged) or 4] little kids in my bed to watch film as a treat (my two used to love this...

Will that be feasible with small children? Probably not Sad

mignonette · 31/07/2013 19:57

God I can't even count....

foxysocks · 31/07/2013 20:07
