My cats back from the vets. I think they were glad to get rid of her as she was really grumpy, wouldn't let them near her and wouldn't eat . Somehow we have to keep her confined to one room for 10 days as she's not allowed to do stairs. The stupid cat though jumped on a chair so hoping she hasn't done any damage!

liberty your outfit sounds like my kind of outfit! Since having my colours done I've realised what a difference a belt or handbag can make to giving an outfit a lift.

I know I'm only on about day 2 of my spending ban but it actually feels quite liberating. Sure it won't in another month!

Can someone explain to me how you walk in these?

How funny Anni I just logged on to link this Bee Print Jumper I saw in M&S - it's so annoying that it's viscose as it's absolutely gorgeous.

QueenC I got the idea of putting that cardi over a t-shirt from you and Amber - you both said the other day that you never wear your cardi's buttoned up. I always wear short cardis buttoned up so trying this is a departure for me - I have realised I really limit my wardrobe by having very fixed ideas about how things should be worn.

I think they are taxi shoes QueenC I would break a limb in them!

Boden sale order arrived. Am keeping the orange point flats - they are great! May also keep slate favourite cardigan, but need to try with worky stuff as it looked odd over shorts and tee. Peplum jumper quite nice, but itchy so going back I think. Ditto knitted ribbed tee, which was a shame as they colour and shape were great! Boo to sensitive skin. Only the pink boots to arrive now and thats it until I crack and spend some of my vouchers!

I love McQueen stuff but most of the shoes are hideous. I like the flats, but the heels try waaaay too hard.

The M&S slippers are great - they have them in red suede too. I had burgundy ankle boots a few years ago, they were very useful.

I'm not so keen on the cardi - not sure why???? Lovely colours but those round buttons they use a lot in M&S look a bit old fashioned I think.

Agree about the buttons. Doubt I'll get the cardi as it's not very versatile in what it'll go with. I always like the idea of a patterned one but most of my tops are patterned.

Anyway I'm going to go and exercise my dc so I won't disturb you anymore!

Ok... Lunch was anmazeballs....maybe not quite 100% sober ( nuggets and chips for dcs dinner)... Bottle champ, 2xbottles Clouby Bay Chardonnay between 2 ladies...= trolleyed.accidentally ordered Lobster thetmidor.... Need a lie down. Porches and A Martins in c park.footballers galore if I knew who they were Have sold sofa and dining room table on ebay...d table wants to pick up tonight! Already made prat of self( whilst looking oh so chic) with piano teacher....now stranger wanting my furniture...need coffee....heeeeeelp!

Loved my fantasty dress QueenC and also the fantasy shorts! I had a rare day of carby lunch today - yummy massive portion of fish and chips and I am still feeling the effects! I have been working on a document the whole day (very rare in my world) and was supposed to be going to the gym but have missed that now :( I suddenly remembered that I am taking my friend for a luxury day out next week and hadnt booked it. Sudden panic stations but all sorted now!

Did you ever get your romantic weekend booked novice?

Boden order arrived here too. Got this pink sweater. It is not as bright as it looks in the picture and didn't register that it is 3/4 length sleeves so going back. Loved the blue I&I sweater from the Outnet order though.

QueenC no because we were both too use to organise it and couldn't agree where to go! Anyway dh has this evening announced that he's booked us into a hotel in London this weekend (i am wondering whether it's the Dorchester but am rubbish at guessing). We're having dinner at the restaurant we went to on the night he proposed. Next day he's flying off on business and I have booked a spa pamper day as a treat for my best friend and I.

I have to admit to being a bit nonchalant about It all as I am feeling a bit grumpy with dh. he's got multiple deals in at the moment and he's stressed which means dcs and I come a distant second and third to work and kids during the week.
