Right. Am going to be good and send it back.... It is just a bit too pale. I'll just Envy Marsha instead.

foxysocks · 25/07/2013 12:17

yes send it back if not right shop. feel same about my shorts - absolutely lovely but just not quite right and for £50 they need to be. annoying though, isn't it?

i sorted the RMA by emailing outnet - phew. waiting for pick up now.

shopafrolic · 25/07/2013 12:33

YY Fox if it was £20 I'd keep it no question...... Right, will phone DHL during nap time. Shout quickly if anyone wants it......

Lovely skirt Santa. Bad news on the jumper shop. Marsha very wow dress, gorgeous.

shopafrolic · 25/07/2013 13:32

Have my RMA number - polishes halo

ok, I have uploaded a pic of me in the dress on my profile, thoughts please! DH was undecided, didn't think it was too young but did think it maybe had a suggestion of empire line (for which read maternity wear, except the dress is tiny, no room for any more of me in it!)....

Shop well done on returns Grin

Linus - have a wonderful, relaxing time, you lucky thing!

AmberNectarine · 25/07/2013 13:55

Just ordered a Cute little neon stripy dress and orange leggings for DD in the Boden sale. This ban could see the children's wardrobes blossom somewhat!

Sleepwhenidie · 25/07/2013 13:56

Marsha you have to get that red dress, it would look stunning on you, gorgeous.

Sleepwhenidie · 25/07/2013 13:58

Marsha, just caught up with your comment re a party - you could wear that out for dinner and look fantastic, I don't think its madly dressy...quick, buy it before I do!

MarshaBrady · 25/07/2013 14:02

Sleep get it! I think about red one!

MarshaBrady · 25/07/2013 14:15

I'll...

am mid street [grin ]

shopafrolic · 25/07/2013 14:22

Sleep it looks cute on you - but you'd look great in a paper bag. Lovely for daytime with flats as you're wearing it but not a Wow. IYSWIM?

shopafrolic · 25/07/2013 14:24

Marsha the red is fab - and the green version too!

QueenCadbury · 25/07/2013 14:48

sleep I don't wish to offend you but I don't like it on you. When I compare it to that previous photo of the red dress that looked amazing.

Annianni · 25/07/2013 14:49

Sleep I think the dress looks nice, but just nice like Shop said.

You've got a fab figure, I think you could get something nicer for the money... not sure how much that dress was... if it was cheap, fine for a nice dress.
But if it's more expensive, then return it for something nicer.

carrie74 · 25/07/2013 14:54

Sorry Sleep I think I agree with the others. It looks nice, but I don't think it's as flattering on you as other things would be - cracking figure though, so definitely worth making the most of.

Amber I've completely neglected the children's wardrobes of late. I think come AW I need to really assess what they've got and what goes with what, unfortunately, DD's wardrobe in particular seems so bitty, and things don't always go well together (plus she has questionable taste in clothes...). Loving the sound of that Boden outfit though, so may take a sneaky peak and pick up an outfit or two for our hols.

Annianni · 25/07/2013 14:55

I had a hair appt booked for next week, to chop my hair from boob to shoulder length.

But I dyed my hair a shade darker last night, and blow dried it straight today and I like my hair long again.

I've had it tied up with the hot weather and forgot that I do like having long hair, so I've changed my appt to a fringe trim instead :o
(I am such a wuss)

santamarianovella · 25/07/2013 15:36

sleep it looks gorgeous,on you,i think the others have a point too,if your not happy with the shape then you might return it and exchange it for something else.

ani i keep changing my mind up to the minute im at hairdresser! i like keeping my hair long, but its a nightmare to look after.

QueenCadbury · 25/07/2013 15:59

marsha I originally missed that Derek lam link. It is gorgeous especially in the green.

BrandyAlexander · 25/07/2013 16:48

Hello ladies! Just sneaking in while I am on a conference call Wink. Mad couple of days. I had a client lunch today so was almost falling asleep in my post lunch meeting Grin cos I stuffed my face! Wearing the pink Maxmara dress today and have had lovely compliments all day. Fingers crossed the weather stays like this for a while longer!

Sleep, apologies for being blunt Blush.......but I wouldn't get that dress. Having met you, I don't think the dress does proper justice to just how stunning you are or what a great body you have

Sleepwhenidie · 25/07/2013 18:53

ok, thanks everyone for the honest answers Smile. Back it goes...I thought it might!

Anyone else finding their fringe a nightmare in the heat (my only complaint about the weather)? Mine just goes limp and vaguely wavy and looks rubbish, no matter what I do!

QueenCadbury · 25/07/2013 18:58

Glad to see you back sleep. I'd been worrying I may have offended you.

My poor cat is in a lot of pain following her mastectomy so is being kept in the vets overnight. She also has 2 drains in so I've no idea what to expect when I get her tomorrow..

Annianni · 25/07/2013 19:56

I started the day with a perfectly straight big fat fringe Sleep, and lovely glossy locks...

But after an afternoon of ironing in this weather, I could happily audition as a 4th member of The Three Degrees [showing my age emoticon]

I think you're doing the right thing with the dress.
After seeing you looking wow in the red Acne, dresses have a hard act to follow :o

And although you don't have to look wow every day, I don't think that dress did you justice iykwim.

Hope your cat's ok QC.
