The dcs played up tonight at bed time so dh and I both exhausted and he is really grumpy. :( he's out again tomorrow night and I think he was relieved that he won't be coming home early enough to deal with bedtime. The silly thing is my last meeting was in his area I stoically walked by the shops, went to meet and asked if he wanted to stay out and he said no! (Ps, if I worked in the area dh does, we would be broke!)

Evening O Stylish Ones. Just sitting in the hotel bar at the airport while DH buys me a nightcap. Just eaten a very late and carb-laden dinner and ready for my wake up call in FIVE HOURS . Needless to say, JCrew dresses due tomorrow (ie too late) but had a message to say Boden AW parcel despatched so nice pressies to come home to anyway. Goodnight my lovelies - I'm going to get my drink on now and then pass out until I have to get up for my obscenely early flight. Mwah!

The earliest I've got up for a flight was 2.30am. Utterly bonkers.

Although London (around Liverpool) is still quite busy at 3.30am. Was so tired the next day.

Paris I will follow your knitwear quest with interest ? without wanting to put you off I find it very hard to buy knits and get stressed every time about washing them. My best buys were an APC wool jumper (NAP winter sale) and a Pure Collection cardi (TKMaxx). TKMaxx is excellent for knits IMO

Marsha I have an I&I silk top in off white ? it was something I meant to return and forgot . It?s very sheer so I always need a vest underneath which annoys me ? I am thinking about dying it a different colour to see if that helps.

Great shopping today! Glad you got the Edelman?s Anni - I love them.

Hottest day clothes - an ancient chambray skirt and cotton Zara T. V boring and not at all stylish but I was at home all day recovering from a hangover. Dressing for work is such a PITA in the heat - the summer things need ironing, all that cotton and linen and it's just too hot to face it. Am afraid to wear anything silk in case I sweat on them and ruin them!!!!

dry finally, you have your Gigis! I hope they were worth the wait.

I nearly melted yesterday, it was so hot. I wore one of the M&E dresses I bought in the sale and it was just too hot.

It has cooled off overnight so I might wear one of my Splendid maxi skirts with a M&E boyfriend tee today.

We are flying to NY tomorrow and I still have to pack but I only have a vague idea of what I'll take. It's probably going to be even hotter than here but at least they have air con over there.

Oh and my plane outfit! Any tips on how to be stylish and comfortable?

DH was up at 4am to catch a flight to Zurich this morning - I was a right grumpy bitch!

Day two of the no spend challenge. I'm a vision in navy leopard print today...

Morning. My dc are also playing up. I'm having 5 min of me time on the iPad before I have to deal with them properly! Last day of school so lots of emotions from the elder two.

linus jersey maxi dress, converse, fitted cardi and pashmina rolloed up in bag......I wore to travel last year, so comfy, felt as if I was wearing my nightie!
Amber it's an amazing challenge...am watching with interest and know you can do it.......when you get that bag it will be worth it !

My challenge should be......an outfit with gold Gigis every day

Oh and Grumpy have a fab time....shame the J Crew dress didn't arrive but I'm sure it won't spoil your break.
