So, I'm tweeting about bras with M&S. Who wants to tell me which stores have given incorrect measurements?

They have asked which store fitted incorrectly. Apparently they've invested a lot into their Bra fitting and would like to know which stores have incorrectly measured / fitted.

Shall we give them a list?!

30E that is.

StatisticallyChallenged · 23/07/2013 14:48

We know. Believe me. But they have responded to pester power before and given that they are pretty much the biggest retailer of bras (and probably the biggest fitters too) it's worth a shot.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/07/2013 14:51

I feel like going into m&s, standing at their fitting room door and telling people not to go in....wonder how long I would last until they kicked me out?!

It was a bit saggy :D The fitter in Bravissimo laughed when she tried pulling it away from my back!

MissStrawberry · 23/07/2013 15:20

Went into M&S today with 5 possible sizes to try. Didn't have a single bra in my size to even try. They seem to think they are doing something amazing by stocking "DD+."

SorrelForbes · 23/07/2013 15:23

Spottyteacakes I've done an impromptu intervention in M&S on a woman bra shopping with her teenage daughter. They were picking up something like 36As and I just couldn't help myself Blush. They were like this [shocked] Confused

I scuttled away quite quickly.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/07/2013 15:42

Sorrel did they listen to you?!

SorrelForbes · 23/07/2013 16:49

I'm not sure. They did hang the bras back up so I'd like to think so. Grin

Auntfini · 23/07/2013 17:10

I went to m&s today, to see if they stocked 30gg (silly me). The assistant said I looked more like a 34d and asked where I had been measured...

StatisticallyChallenged · 23/07/2013 17:27

Ha ha! Did you resist the urge to reply "by someone who has a clue?"

MissStrawberry · 23/07/2013 17:32

I demonstrated how I had been measured to the lady in Debenhams today Grin.

StatisticallyChallenged · 23/07/2013 17:49

she probably thought we were mad. ..but in the absence of physically being there it's not bad really!

woollyjo · 23/07/2013 18:04

Shrewsbury said they couldn't fit me as I was an 'odd size' (thanks for that). I now know I am a 32E not that odd at all really.

She said it was an unusual way of doing things Grin.

auntpetunia · 26/07/2013 23:31

Oh don't start me on M&S bras, today Southport tried to find 32ff asked staff who told me I wasn't that size and more like a 36b!!! This without measuring me and just looking at me in my vest top. I laughed and asked was she joking? She said In her trained opinion I was never a 32. I was so tempted to strip and show her my lovely Freya bra as supplied by my local indi bra fitter so she could see the label.

JacqueslePeacock · 26/07/2013 23:45

Oh you should have! Grin

auntpetunia · 26/07/2013 23:54

Ha Jacques think dd aged 11 would have died on the spot. I just shrugged and said never mind I'll go somewhere that knows how to measure!

StatisticallyChallenged · 27/07/2013 06:44

Oh god. Now not only are they mis-fitting the women who ask for a fitting, they are trying to mess with people in correct bras. Oh joy.

SorrelForbes · 27/07/2013 06:47

"In her trained opinion".

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
