also re: balenciaga - DH will flip if I spend more than around £400 on a bag. which means I either buy new and get a small plain one, or second hand for something bigger/statementy. even then second hand is pushing it, they seem to really retain value.

LinusDKD · 06/07/2013 19:46

I absolutely adore that Me&Em dress foxy and if I didn't think I would look like a chubby toddler in it, I would have bought it a long time ago.

Like the Vanessa Bruno as well.

Please keep the descriptions of outfits and bling at the MU coming!

Well done Mr.Paris for buying that shirt, I can see it will go with so many things.

Now where is DH with my White Lady?!

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 19:49

I am home. I got too tipsy and nearly knocked myself out on the stair well. And then nearly fell over walking back into the eating bit. The shame. I loved seeing everyone, loved it. More of you next time! Tis fun. Especially after a few champagnes proseccos.

shopafrolic · 06/07/2013 19:54

Bloody hell Marsha next time I'll walk you back to your seat!

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 19:58

Dangerous!

Although I'm heartened by the fact you must have missed the falling into the eating space bit Grin

Or perhaps you'd gone already

foxysocks · 06/07/2013 20:02

haha marsha! i like you even more now. have NEVER met an aussie that can't handle their booze, I bet you are no exception. we had aussie guests - colleagues of DH - and they arrived at ours around midday once, i offered them a cup of tea and they were aghast, wanted to get straight on the beers lol. I felt v bad!

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 20:03

lol lol not the CARBS

I haven't eaten today. That's my excuse Grin

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 20:04

A glass of beer is like a loaf of bread to me. I'd rather have the bread. With butter. A baguette preferably.

Am rambling.

shopafrolic · 06/07/2013 20:04

I took a cab to Chalk Farm. I could have walked there quicker than he drove there as he had to go round the canal........ Hilarious. £5 wasted but not sure i could have made it solo!

lol Shop. Bet you were close.

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 20:08

And I'm not 100% Aussie, born here, I get sloshed on bubble only Wink Pure class.

Grin

The bubbles were lovely.Smile

Just remembered shoes and bag. Shoes were a fab £25 carvella nude low heel sandals. Amazing on the comfort scale. Bag was my new Rag&Bone in coral. I was also wearing a simple freshwater pearl bracelet which I got from China. For some reason I couldn't find bracelet I wanted (Tiffanys hearts elsa peretta) so this was my compromise. Hmmm dcs don't seem in the mood to bed. Hmm

Ps I agree with Shop, Mrs R has very swishy hair, loved liberty's statement necklace. Shops Levi's dress is fab. Totally suited her. Loved marshas neon tee, matched beautifully with (wang?) skirt and sky scraper heels. Sleep's dress which I think was maxi was a great print.

MarshaBrady · 06/07/2013 20:20

Only joshing Linus enjoy!

Novice loved your dress. Very pretty.

shopafrolic · 06/07/2013 20:21

I love other people's swishy hair. As you will have seen - I definitely a lack swish!

I do love a cold beer on a hot day.

Especially in Oz where they pour it in an ice cold glass. Heaven!

BrandyAlexander · 06/07/2013 20:29

Had you just had it coloured Shop? It looked very swanky.

I loved the Hobbs dress you linked to earlier worn by Kim Sears, but everyone will be wearing it now.pity.

Love the outfit breakdown novice. Sounds really lovely. Your jewellery sounds like it lived up to expectations!

I really like that Me&Em dress foxy. Looks like it'd be pretty useful. Like the Vanessa Bruno dresses too. Esp the first one. I think only too pastely if you're pale and for some reason I think you're dark (have I made that up?!).

Poor you santa. Hope you're ok?

Hope you've got your White Russian Linus. Relaxing on sofa with a gin and tonic. Bliss.

LinusDKD · 06/07/2013 20:45

McNally No no a White Lady! And yes, I am sipping one as I type.

Coincidentally, a White Russian is DH's favourite cocktail. I blame the Big Lebowski.

santa I bet your DD is going to have the best birthday ever tomorrow!
