What a lovely group of ladies - I really enjoyed the afternoon and would have happily stayed on swigging bubbles - we will all have to negotiate late pass outs for the next time!

MrsR has amazing hair...and in the best MNV form brought in her EBay goldsigns for me and they fit and I have had a little whirl around the house in them this evening and I love them.
Shop looked v glam with her sharp hair and lovely Levi's dress, Sleep is very gorgeous and cool, great maxi dress, Marsha also v cool, minimalist chic and would look fabulous in a bin bag and Novice just so glam and the jewels are amazing....

Agree with MrsR felt like I had known everyone for ages and was all very relaxed.

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2013 22:00

Ah I'm so glad you had a good time at the meet up. I'm ridiculously excited at meeting you all in October! I've had a fab day shopping but Birmingham is soooo busy. It was heaving. The dc loved lion king at the theatre too. Knackered from the drive there and back and now chilling with a glass of Beaujolais. Am about to try and find all the things I tried on/bought/lusted over. I did a lot of lusting in the selfridges bag department. And in the toilet queue I actually totally embarrassed myself by telling some random stranger that I loved her chanel watch and bag Blush

libertychick · 06/07/2013 22:07

Hope you have a great day tomorrow Santa

Are there links coming QueenC? We were all chatting about your Oct date today but we may need another MU before that one too!

santamarianovella · 06/07/2013 22:08

queen dont be Blush,im sure you made her happy!,women love it when other women complement them on what they are wearing

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2013 22:37

Give me a chance-it takes time to find everything online!

Right then, I bought this dress for dh to lust after. this bag which dh definately didn't lust after..." I just don't understand why you need another bag"...no, I didn't understand it until I saw it but nice my years old pleather grey bag has died I needed a replacement. Since grey bags do not exist this stone is perfect. And I love the versatility as it's a shoulder bag but also had a cross body strap.

I also bought some gorgeous mole sandals from m&s although they were kind of in desperation. I really wanted low heel ones as whenever we go out we tend to walk there but these are fairly high. They look gorgeous with the davina dress and I can imagine wearing them in church tomorrow but after that they are just too impractical for my life so they are going back.

So I tried on some birthday dresses... anglomania is gorgeous and great fit but not quite the right colour. If this ever gets made in a brighter cobalt or emerald then it will be infer sure. This dvf was gorgeous too but looked too similar to my lk bennett. Again in a different colour it would be a serious contender.

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2013 22:47

So now for the lust list...

givenchy. I knew when this didn't have a price tag that it was waaay out of my price league. And yep, it's £1345 of gorgeousness.

This, however may be a contender for the 40th bag longchamp. It's a much nicer pink irl and I totally lurve it. Otherwise I could go for the more affordable longchamp.

I alo tried on a few other things namely maxi dresses which all looked great until I looked side on in the mirror and look pregnant (my tummy is not at all flat!).

linus I also saw your jelly shoes and can confirm that they are much less bizarre looking irl than on the website!

So that's me done. Dh not happy so i've assured him that I will not buy another thing until my london trip (I may also have to spend a couple of grand on a tooth implant as I have a dead tooth). Can't believe you're all going to meet again before October. Make sure you don't all get bored of each other and leave me alone in London.

libertychick · 06/07/2013 22:48

Grin at QueenC I am too hyper from all the booze earlier to sleep and have being waiting to see some lovely things!

Monsoon dress looks perfect for the weather we are having right now and I like the fossil bag - I almost bought a pink one a few weeks ago.

The DVF is my favourite of the two birthday dresses but I can see it is similiar to your Davina dress.

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2013 22:49

Sorry for all the typos. The Beaujolais has gone to my head Grin

santamarianovella · 06/07/2013 22:56

queen the navy dress you bought is really gorgeous.
the DVF dress in nice too.
apparently that givenchy bag is THE it bag right now,i see a lot of
people in london carrying it.

QueenCadbury · 06/07/2013 23:01

Lucky that I don't live in London anymore then as I'd be accosting more strangers to compliment them on their bags Grin

BrandyAlexander · 07/07/2013 07:56

Morning all. i am hungover. Shock

shopafrolic · 07/07/2013 08:40

What time did you leave Novice?
My DH cooked a Chinese last night so that soaked up some of the alcohol. Rough night's sleep though - combination of booze and heat = fuzzy head.
I have got another hair appointment booked in already if anyone fancies an interim meet before October? :)

foxysocks · 07/07/2013 08:41

Me too novice. DH in trouble for bad behaviour, and he knows it. Have cup of tea in bed, and that's just the start of his day mwahahaha

McNally · 07/07/2013 08:46

Morning! Not hungover but seem to have developed a cold overnight. In this weather?! Having a restorative coffee.

Oh dear foxy. Hope he wasn't too bad. Enjoy your tea while thinking of ways he can make it up to you!

shopafrolic · 07/07/2013 08:47

Are you sure it's not hayfever McNally - I wake up with a raging sore throat, bunged up nose etc every morning at the moment. Might have to move to London.......

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 07/07/2013 08:47

Uh oh Foxy - what did he do?

OP posts:
foxysocks · 07/07/2013 08:50

Bad Drunken antics. Not going into any more details haha. He got up with DCs and brought tea without any prompting which is a reasonable start.

McNally · 07/07/2013 08:59

Could be hay fever shop. Think it is probably a combination. Def not immune from it in London unfortunately.

Sometimes I'm happy to trade some drunken antics (not too bad ones though) for a lie in and tea in bed foxy.

shopafrolic · 07/07/2013 09:06

Boys and their booze. When I got home (pissed) last night I sat down, had a good conversation with DH about my day, cooked DS pasta, put DS to bed, read story, ate dinner with DH and then had an early night. Last time DH came home pissed he woke the whole house up, pulled my pillow out from under my head causing me to go flying across the bed and then wasted the whole of the following day feeling hungover.
Last time I was hungover I was on my way to the beach at 8am!
I, of course, am perfect - so that probably explains it.
And don't get me started on my friend's DH who goes for a wee in the corner of their bedroom when too drunk! Grin

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 07/07/2013 09:59

MarshaBrady · 07/07/2013 10:04

Well done Shop! Love it when you can place people. There's some one at nursery who could be an actor or just a familiar face, I can't work it out.

QueenC love your links.

Foxy well done in cashing in on antics, hope your day is still going swimmingly.
