Love those blue shoes on your blog, Hopefully.
And LOVE the idea of a wedding present library - sounds like a reason to finally marry dp (dd1 is 18!). :)

I'm not complaining about the weather, but it is very warm and I've been roasting at work in my suit, even though I went bare legged (I don't usually do this at work but needs must...) and even though my jacket had cropped sleeves. Only 6 more working days to go now though.

I think my fuller jersey skirt quest is perhaps an impossible dream, so I'm going to try the Topshop one and if that's no good I'll probably just buy another White Company dress instead. The American Apparel one is about right, but I just can't buy from them because of their hideously misogynistic advertising.

Grin I am so chuffed, the scales say I have lost half a stone Grin

santamarianovella · 15/07/2013 18:45

hello all!,
linus well done,

one sorry to hear that,

marsha,im searching for a pair of solid color bikinis, and cant bother to go and try, will have to search at asos, and NAP.

shop,i broke my ban too,i ordered one of the vanessa bruno dresses foxy linked the other day,and a current elliot tee.will try to link later.

sleep hope your DD gets better, i can sympathise with your DH,i have an irrational fear of birds!

we have not heard of amber ,paris or mig in a while now, hope all is good.

LinusDKD · 15/07/2013 19:05

One so sorry to hear the news about your BIL. But well done one the weight loss, I will have to pull my socks up to keep up with you.

hopefully if you're still reading MNV, I have pinned those shoe boots because I adore them. Really not suitable for my current lifestyle but the colour is to die for.

I haven't broken my shopping ban but only the thought of shopping in NY is keeping me from buying at the moment.

I think books as a wedding present is a brilliant idea, I might use it for our 10th wedding anniversary.

We regularly use our crystal champagne and wine glasses but our china and silverware only gets used once or twice a year. Blush

I love that top Shop. I passed because I didn't think we were ever going to get the weather for it. I have the long sleeve version which I wore to our first MU.

That Desigual top I linked to was £27 from Amazon by the way!

I was also wondering about Amber too. I assumed with the good weather the thread is more quiet, especially on the weekends.

QueenCadbury · 15/07/2013 20:41

That's nice shop.

one I've pm'd you.

Drywhiteplease · 15/07/2013 20:54

Evening all. Lovely day.....after work supposed to go to gym but ate cake with my friend in her garden instead, Grin such is life!
sleep hope your dd feels better soon, they always seen to conk out the first week of the holidays. Love the sea gull story....funny, if slightly scary.
shop lovely sandals indeed. Bought a bandeau top from Primark also doesn't count as only £2/3.50 ish Strictly for the garden or foreign beaches only. I won't be going to Sainsburys in it!
foxy M Clare is v v v tempting for me Wink
one you're obv posh because your loo seat must be down....my -ex- cat would have just drank out of the loo! [v lower class feline !] well done on 1/2 stone, perseverance pays!
Grumpy your M and S sounds very much like mine.

OneLittleLady · 15/07/2013 20:56

posh dry? Hahahaha, I wish i'm really chuffed about the weight loss, I know it isn't much considering how much I have to lose but it's a start Smile

NaP clearance sale is on!

MrsRadicchio · 16/07/2013 09:31

Hello all! Hope you are enjoying the weather. I am trialling white jeans today - already dirty!

one sorry to hear about your bil.

sleep how is your dd today?

Love the books as wedding present idea. We did jl vouchers or asked people to give to charity . Quite a few people who came did neither...i've always thought that was a bit strange.

Anyone purchasing from nap?

Lovely sandals shop

I really like the pliage bag queen and hope your friends ask dh for advice!

Has anyone got Charles Philip shanghai shoes? Am interested in a pair but wondering about sizing.

I've booked to get my 'colours done', in about a month. She said not to buy anything til after though I am keen on getting some shoes from a shop locally. Will link anything I buy.

Will also report back about the colour analysis.

Who was it with the atterley road parcel? (on phone so can't look). Want to hear all about it!

MrsRadicchio · 16/07/2013 09:32

Oh Linus, I think that Helmut Lang skirt you linked a while ago is back on the outnet. I am tempted myself!

MarshaBrady · 16/07/2013 09:37

Grumpy I love the dress and shoes, they do need to absolutely be sure they are in store before you drive over I agree. Give them a call and see if they sound vague or certain. Is anyone near the store on here I wonder?

Sleep your poor dh!

Novice lovely top. I really liked your dress you wore to the mu too.

Foxy thanks so much I had completely forgotten about Asos. I ended up buying really plain black ones from Figleaves reduced to £5. Very cheap! Just to replace other ones until I can find a nice (and reduced) M Odabash or Eres (yeah one day Grin) one. Love your tshirt.

Santa will let you know when I find one!

Lovely Lang Shop.

Dry sounds very nice indeed, sometimes the garden is the perfect place. In this weather for sure.

Ok I have actually purchased sales stuff! Will get links.

MarshaBrady · 16/07/2013 09:56

I pinned these J Brands a while ago, so got them.

And light cashmere because I much prefer it at 80% off. But I sized up so not so snug as on model.

That's a day in early autumn sorted then Grin.

Annianni · 16/07/2013 10:52

Lovely shopping Marsha

I did like dh being off work for a couple of days, but it did impact on my arsing about on the internet time :o

Have I missed the answer to what Foxy's dh does?
If not, I think he does something scuba related... something where he's in the water anyway...

My shopping last week was a bit hit and miss.
This coat was quite nice, but huge and with a really cheap and nasty belt buckle.
But the shape of the coat was quite nice... and the fabric felt decent enough. Undecided as to ordering a smaller size.

I had ordered it in this colour too, which is supposed to be grey, but that size went oos.

Lovely skirt, which i'm wearing today. As i'm a couple of inches shorter than the model, it's just past my knees and is a darker blue irl which I like.

Fab silk blouse which i'd tried before, and still love.

Boring school run parka is due today, it was 100 ish from matches. Would never pay full price for one, but i'll try it at 70% off.

I nearly had kittens when Shop linked this last week, as I had been admiring it. Finally got round to ordering it this morning.

And i've got a few maxi skirts on the way, as i've been living in my grey marl one. Will link if they're any good.

Will try and catch up with what i've missed...

foxysocks · 16/07/2013 11:51

quick one - manuka order arrived and is brill if anyone needs exercise/yoga gear.

this top SO nice, like a second skin. got it in grey and pink.

this top also lovely

gorgeous cover up

nothing on NaP for me and am not sure on bikini. top is perfect, bottoms a bit too skimpy. deciding whether to return lot or keep and look for plain bottoms with more coverage to wear with top. hhmm.

have a good sun-filled day voguettes Grin

shopafrolic · 16/07/2013 12:47

Sorry Anni I have a habit of linking things you're considering. Apologies! :)
There's been a murder locally and now there's a nationwide manhunt - it's like an episode of Midsomer Murders round here the amount of gossip flying around!
I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.
Love those bits Marsha - especially the J Brands....
Have sold the bed on Facebook of all places. DH says I can keep the money which is good as I've massively overspent recently! Blush
Do I win a prize for the most disjointed post ever?

foxysocks · 16/07/2013 13:01

ooo shop! get on your twinset and pearls and pretend to be Miss Marple.

absolutely lovely NaP choices, marsha. those pale grey skinnies you found for me ages ago, the ones with zips, were £49 but i really don't need grey skinnies so resisted.

anni i like that parka! am a big parka fan. good guess on DH, will pm you.

am now a bit annoyed to see my manuka stuff cheaper when it only arrived with me today. have asked for a refund on the difference. always a sign of good CS if they agree.

still on a bikini hunt. l have fallen in love with some kerraaazee print bottoms which could go with a black bandeau. hmm.

which dress did you get santa - the pale pink one? what's it like? still on my watch list.

shopafrolic · 16/07/2013 14:58

Donna Ida final sale on

OP posts:
Drywhiteplease · 16/07/2013 15:24

foxy can you send it all back and repurchase if they don't refund the diff? It's so annoying when that happens. Nice stuff though.

Lovely links marsha and anni.
I have received my Nike not see through cycling shorts....much more pleasant for my fellow gym goersGrin

reluctantironer · 16/07/2013 16:16

Quick delurk - have just got "me + em" grecian drape dress reduced to £26.40 - seem to be further reductions in sale! Back to lurking!

OneLittleLady · 16/07/2013 16:24

LinusDKD · 16/07/2013 17:08

Dauphin · 16/07/2013 17:13

hello all. Am in garden on lounger in lovely new Heidi Klein bikini. Far too hot to do anything...I ventured shopping this morning, and bought some bits for hols, including books...Isn't it lovely to be able to wear proper summer things!
