Well spotted Shop.

I am not doing a third pair . Grin

MarshaBrady · 09/07/2013 15:35

Oh I love that Liberty!

Grin
Annianni · 09/07/2013 16:12

Liberty :o

It might have been Shop, I remember someone did it with furniture wood stain or something similar...

Annianni · 09/07/2013 16:13

I might do my All Saints ones, before I wear them.

Annianni · 09/07/2013 16:16

But you've got lovely slim legs Marsha, you can wear Pistol's
And third time lucky and all that!
They were so not flattering on me :o

mignonette · 09/07/2013 16:18

I'm flying back tonight so will hopefully get a chance to talk fashion with you all later on. Baby continuing to improve and we are cautiously hopeful...

Finding something to wear cool and comfortable enough for even a short flight has been interesting as packed in such a hurry and flurry of 'couldn't care less' which is so not me...Have resorted to city shorts in charcoal grey, a navy and cream geometric print sleeveless shirt and my silver Edelman sandals. Am hoping the backs of my legs do not stick too much to the leather BA seats!

See you all soon

MarshaBrady · 09/07/2013 16:38

Ah thanks Anni! they are rather handy aren't they.
I just wear them out so quickly. And the last ones were suede and got so marked. I love the pale ones but they'd most likely be wrecked in no time.

Actually Shop found the second pair, reduced, and I ordered at midnight. I remember it made me jump. Grin

Good luck Mignonette leather seat stick is the worst. Glad to hear all is still good.

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 16:43

Hello everyone....fab weather !
One so lovely to go down a size, well done with your diet.
Grumpy I do think the opposite is sometimes the case....you see something (cheap) styled well on a blog and it's great isn't it?
Liberty Grin at MNV t shirt!
QueenC like you. I'm now desperate for high summer casual dresses! Have just found a cotton dress I the depths of my over spill wardrobe the one I haven't told you about, for things that should really be binned but can't quite bring myself yet...lots of suits circa 1996 that really must go .

Liberty love the dress game.
These are my criteria:

Fitted but not clingy.
Feminine but not fussy.
Waisted.
Round neck/slash neck best for flat chest.
Any sleeve length. Like showing shoulders and really love 3/4 .
Just above the knee.
Any colour ESP greens and blues, never fushia pink or garish purple.

Just in case you were wondering.

Trying to put off ironing...too hot

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 16:46

Oh and Mig was it you who said when PMT hits women need carbs.....I blame YOU for the Magnun then!!!Grin. Have a safe trip.

And Shop remember the record breaking ironing pile you had? I have realised that 4(!!!!!) yrs ago I bough DH a pair if Boden chinos, they have been hanging from my bedroom curtain pole waiting to be shortened ever since, so much so that they have become part of the window dressing!Grin

OneLittleLady · 09/07/2013 17:21

Thank you dry I'm really chuffed as it means one less thing I have to buy this year and since all my money is going towards music lessons at the minute, any saving is a bonus. Lovely news mig hope you have a safe and not too uncomfortable flight home

shopafrolic · 09/07/2013 17:25

Marsha that was my first time that someone bought something I'd linked to! I felt super special! Grin
Liberty we wouldn't miss each other at a MU in that!
I deserve wine tonight - have done all of my ironing apart from those napkins!
Mig glad things are improving still. PM me when you're back?
Not sure if I can get away with Pistols but I love these so perhaps one day I'll upgrade....

T'is my fault re Magnum Dry. Yes carbs=serotonin!!!!
I have plenty of new ideas ofr ice cream creation- the Germans have some interesting flavours....
I'll PM you Shop

Looking at the Chanel A/W slide show on Harpers Bazaar site- those clothes are divine and perfect for me but alas not my income bracket Sad. Love the kilts, blacks and greys for Winter.

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 17:45

LinusDKD · 09/07/2013 18:21

Safe flight mig and I'm happy your niece is making good progress.

I can't be arsed at the moment to fight with Jack Wills about a proper refund so I'll have to choose something from their website, which is difficult as I'm not really their target market.

I saw a couple of belts that look ok so I'll probably go for those and chalk this one up to experience.

one I can't wait to fit into some of my old clothes. I have nearly lost 2 kilos so I'm not quite there yet, but it's a start.

LinusDKD · 09/07/2013 18:39

interesting

shopafrolic · 09/07/2013 18:45

She's got a cracking pair of legs! How old is she?

Decameron · 09/07/2013 19:09

Mignonette, I am delighted that your niece has a fighting chance now. Bon voyage.

Good news about your FIL, Paris.

Gigis were one of my best summer buys, Dry. Has your H&M top arrived? Mine came yesterday, I like it.

I bought another dress from Me & Em, this one. The fit is great but one of the Avid & Wise ladies has offered hers to me in navy, which was the colour I wanted but was sold out, so I returned it.

Anything from Me & Em's winter range will do nicely, thanks, Liberty!

I saw the DVF top I was hankering after was further reduced so put it on DH's credit card. :)

Anni, glad the boot quest was successful. I was annoyed I missed the Newbury boots but sounds like they'd be too high for me for day too. My friend's boots arrived, luckily it is so sunny I am not tempted to wear them before I bring them to Dublin for her!

That is annoying they won't just refund you, Linus.

LinusDKD · 09/07/2013 19:30

shop according to French Wiki she was born in 1967.

shopafrolic · 09/07/2013 19:37

Love that dress Decameron and the colour of the DVF is just gorgeous!
