voilà les gigis dorées bit bling for some but will work well in my wardrobe. I have silver flat sandals already.
No Decameron it hasn't arrived yet, maybe tomorrow. Are you happy with yours?

shopafrolic · 09/07/2013 20:32

Tres belle! Not sure where my accents are on an iPad!

LinusDKD · 09/07/2013 20:34

You keep pushing on the letter you want and then the letter with all the accents appear.

Very nice Gigis!

OneLittleLady · 09/07/2013 20:34

very nice dry

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 20:48

One click shopping is leathal!

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 20:48

Or lethal that is (oops)

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 09/07/2013 21:41

Oooh - another lurker to lure into our lair! Come in, come in

Tis me who has the navy Newburys. I haven't even looked at them on the Outnet - please tell me they're not too cheap...I did buy them 40% off myself though, so I shouldn't complain.

Spending ban is going abysmally. Thanks to following links through Asos I ended up somehow buying not just the lovely Maison Scotch T, but also the very practical boots and jeans I don't really need. Now, thanks to seeing v stylish (and beautiful) girl at the races this evening, I am now hankering after something like these. Looked at Tods, but these are similar enough without being as £££. Have I lost my mind?

Sleepwhenidie · 09/07/2013 21:50

Hi everyone, sorry I have been AWOL the last couple of days, very busy with stuff, from the summer fair on Sunday (glad that's over with for another year), then tennis Grin, then a drive to Hereford with DS1 to stay with my DM then on to Wales to visit my grandad on his 93rd birthday yesterday. Today been busy with the DS's and it has taken me about an hour to catch up with you all on here!

The MU on Saturday was fab, everybody looked gorgeous and it was a wonderful way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon. So lovely to meet Liberty and MrsR for the first time and to catch up with Shop, Marsha and Novice. Shop, in answer to your eyeliner q, I think it was the sparkly one out of this Bobbi Brown set.

Mignon - so pleased to hear your news about your niece, that is a wonderful change of prognosis, I wish her all the best.

Paris that is also fantastic news on your FIL, you must all be so pleased and relieved Smile.

Novice - well done on finally getting the bank account sorted, now you can really get started. Amazing stuff.

Liberty I am so impressed with your dress choices Shock - I absolutely love mine! Wish I had somewhere I could wear it!

Shop you obviously get the silver medal for selecting that skirt for MrsR that she already has Grin...do you think we may be getting to know each other a bit too well HmmGrin

OneLittleLady · 09/07/2013 21:52

How do you ladies find ASOS clothing fits? Is it on the small side or more generous? I've been having a look for new dresses but am hesitating as I've never ordered from them before and have no idea how they usually fit.

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 22:01

Grumpy fab purchases and the orange moccasins are great with denim and would be lovely with white too. I say go for it!

sleep I'm looking for cycling shorts (for gym obv) that don't go thin and see through.....any recommendations or is this just what happens when you are a top athlete ? Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 09/07/2013 22:38

One I think err on selecting the larger size if in doubt with ASOS as I think it is a young target market, less vanity sizing going on Grin

Dry I think you can't go wrong with Nike but Sweaty Betty is very good and has more interesting designs going on if you are bothered - more ££ though.

libertychick · 09/07/2013 22:48

It's been ages since I seriously exercised (ie to the point of wearing out gym gear!!) but agree with Sleep that Nike is good - I have shorts and running leggings that have stood the test of time.

One definitely size up with Asos I think. I am 36 inches exactly around the bust and their size 12 T-shirts fit nicely but no room for complacency with the diet!

Glad you liked the dress Sleep - you would look fab in it! Fantasy shopping for others is so much fun.

Dry I have noted the requirements - will get onto it!

Drywhiteplease · 09/07/2013 22:58

Liberty best not tempt me!Wink

OneLittleLady · 09/07/2013 22:58

Thanks, will perhaps look at their plus size range then, though I often find that I can fit in the top end of 'normal' sizes, I do sometimes venture into plus sizes if something catches my eye. It's such a shame though that the large (haha) majority of plus size clothing is hideous, so much glitter and unnecessary frills I find.

libertychick · 09/07/2013 23:21

Sorry Dry I have already looked!! Either classic DVF or Erdem to be a bit more adventurous

libertychick · 09/07/2013 23:28

Grumpy do feedback on the chelsea boots when you get them - they look good.

BrandyAlexander · 10/07/2013 07:22

Morning all. Work dinner in Mayfair so late home last night. I had 2 courses and so was stuffed!

I wore my maxmara ciro dress Yesterday. It was amazing. Virtually every person I met complimented me on a great dress. I used my mulberry bays water, which is fab because it is different to your usual mulberry. pinterest.com/pin/380202393511884368/. I also wore my fab atwoods. Happy days. Thank you to MNV for inspiring me to get such a great dress.

The dress liberty chose for me is gorgeous. I can happily say that at that price, the credit card will be staying firmly wedged in the purseGrin also, where would I wear it too? I would be stuffed on a cost per wear basis!

Sleep sent me a link to a stunning dress. Looks like great cut and shape for me. Amazing colour, but I am not confident as to how long summer will last so I will just sigh and pass. :(

On good news front, Selfridges finally credited my account with the £2k. The whole thing has been totally stressful. Lesson learned. Rather than quietly returning the dirty cardigan, I should have phoned and screeched down the phone as soon as the package arrived. Hmm I did another return last week for about £1k, including the gorgeous Herve leger dress .

Today, I am meeting with my charity partner about kindergarten supplies! Another gorgeous day, what will I wear?

Annianni · 10/07/2013 07:41

Love that pink dress Novice.

Ds2 went to bed with just his nappy on, plenty of cream and nails freshly cut. Me and dh managed to wake him after 10 mins, so he was then up till after 10, and has scratched himself so much he's bled on the sheets.
Back to the drawing board...

I didn't get to sleep till after 2, so I feel great today Hmm

And I may have ordered 2 coats to try late last night they are wool and a bargainous £55 in the sale, so that's my excuse anyway but then remembered that dh is off Friday and Monday, so chances are he'll be here when they arrive... and he'll think I really have lost the plot, ordering coats in this weather :o

Morning by the way...

OneLittleLady · 10/07/2013 07:51

Poor DS Ani my sister used to be similar with the scratching thing, she used to get sent to bed with socks on her hands! My mum found that not just cutting my sisters nails but also filing them, like a proper manicure minus the nail painting, helped a lot.

Drywhiteplease · 10/07/2013 08:04

Gosh that's horrid Anni poor little thing.

Novice fantastic outfit......really love the dress, shoes, bag....if I'd seen you I'd have had to say something!

Liberty bingo! I'd defo wear both of those dresses. Lovely.

Gigis due today.

The Nancy visa bill arrived and I've been really restrained ( with the occasional supermarket or Amazon hiccup that don't count because they are on the joint acc! Wink ).... Feel quite virtuous. Am learning.

Sleepwhenidie · 10/07/2013 08:47

Hi all, that outfit sounds amazing Novice!

Off to Legoland today, just DH and I taking DS1, haven't told him yet, he is going to be sooo excited Grin, just have to drop other two to school first!

LinusDKD · 10/07/2013 09:07

That dress is so beautiful novice, I really like MaxMara

anni your poor DS! Could installing a fan or airconditioning in his room work so the heat doesn't make the itching worse?

shopafrolic · 10/07/2013 09:26

Anni will PM you x
One have PM'd you too
Morning all. Off to see my fabulous make up artist friend for lunch today with DS in tow. Hoping to pick her brains about latest products..... Am wearing Whistles khaki dress, probably Gigis......

foxysocks · 10/07/2013 09:44

novice that pink dress is amazing.

anni so sorry you are struggling with your little one at nights. can you tape socks over his hands?

sleep have fun today!

I have absolute DEARTH of warm weather options. today wore denim shorts and cream AV tank (which is a size too big so had to do some clever tucking) and pale gold havs for SR.

I am def in market for a summer dress if this weather continues. am totes in love with the acne have posted before but a. too expensive and b. polyester

I taught again last night, am loving it and the feedback is so great so am feeling super positive today Grin. only downside of teaching late is I can't get up early to practice myself, so need to do it now hence missing valuable sun time. oh well, win some loose some.

has anyone bought from vestaire collective? am wondering about it in order to get my dream bag but am wary of second hand/lack of return options. any thoughts?

LinusDKD · 10/07/2013 10:13

My polka dot Marc by Marc Jacobs scarf has finally arrived and it is gorgeous!

It is super soft and a lovely colour, shame it's too hot to wear it at the moment.
