I agree with the sleeping... dsd is 16 and dh lies there worrying when she's out.

It's prom tomorrow night, with an after party for 50 that starts at midnight apparently.. so that'll be fun

Luckily dh can function on very little sleep and it's just me that's grumpy :o

right you enablers you! I have ordered them in a 27. hope slouchy but not actually falling down. my all saints denim mini is a 27 and fits in the same way so hoping will be like that.

Novice here's a thought - organise a wardobe sale for YOUR charity. Invite MNVers and make them pay a min amount for each piece. That way your charity gets the money, you get the clear out, lovely ladies wear the clothes. Win win.

I would love to watch the tennis - might try for half an hour this morning (recorded highlights last night) while DS is at nursery but need to hoover, walk dogs etc first. DS pesters me if I try to watch tennis (pesky kids!) and when I try and watch it as he naps I end up falling asleep. It's the repetitive sound of the ball being hit, lulls me into a meditative state. When I used to work for a big oil company I got tickets to the Grand Prix at Silverstone and I fell asleep there too - cars going round and round and round.......drifts off......

A Christmas Novice vogue occasion for charity sounds fab!

I have just put on some Tom Ford Cherry Lush lipstick, the most fabulous cherry red in the world.

It looks lovely with my cobalt jumper, now all I need is the courage to wear it outside the house.

I have loads of bright lipsticks I only wear around the house as I feel too self-conscious wearing them when other people can see. Oh, and kissing and cuddling DS and DD is also a bit tricky.

I tried them with grey skinny jeans and there's a gap at the front of the boots that looks daft.

And with my Goldsign Diva's, I looked like I should be yee-hawing at a rodeo...
Which wasn't the look I was going for.

So I'll try the grey All Saints boots later and if they're no good, then I officially give up!

I'll have lots of decorating to do soon, so I wasn't going to shop till it was all finished as an incentive... but my ban may be starting earlier.

I am happy to give stuff away to any welcoming mnv homes. You're all being so lovely about the charity. When its set up and has a track record then I might do more 'public' stuff but until then your support and encouragement is more than enough for me. Please don't think I am not grateful.

Having said that I may also call on your googling skills in the future or get your advice if thats okay. It took me endless days of googling attempts before I found a website to would give me advice on what supplies i need to set up a kindergarten. It turns out that the kindergarten of 50 kids doesn't actually have anything in there. Not even a ball to kick about.

Ps Shop, it may be a while before I do another bag cull and a rl queue has formed too one of my sisters was mad at me last time for giving my nanny a couple of bags. I should have known that she wanted them

Oh and I am a high street and a designer girl too remember! It's not all high end and some are slightly eccentric. Eg has anyone ever seen those nude lkb alike heels from M&S? I ordered them as I was curious (they're £20) and they weren't me but i forgot to return them. They're size 4 and never been worn and currently sitting in my clear out corner. The Herve Leger has gone back, dozy as i am, even I remembered to return a £1,300 dress

Morning all so it's day 3 of my cycle and it's official, the real Liberty is back - the world is not out to get me, my job is not so bad, I'm not fat and the usual soundtrack of happy thoughts and tunes is back in my head!!!

Today I am wearing the navy Me&Em ankle skimmer trousers, fitted Banana Republic white shirt, Grey Whistles Lena jacket and the M&S snakeskin flats. Silver necklace and cuff with blue and black beading which I picked up in an oxfam shop for 99p! I need some new belts to add some interest - currently wearing a black patent one with a sliver buckle which is fine but a bit 'meh'.

I really like black and red!! I think it does depend on how it's worn - I have put this type of look together a few times and I wear this cardi to work a lot with a mid length black pencil skirt, black statement bib style necklace and the M&S flats.

'Silver' buckle...sigh. Meant to say I think red shoes are tricky - I have red ballet flats but only wear with bare ankles or nude tights, never black opaques....

I really like black and red too . Though wear navy more than black now.

I ordered the Hush goldfish pyjamas that I think you got, Gwen. The DDs will love them.

Anni, I've ordered the grey All Saints boots you found for a friend, she said thanks, they are just what she was looking for!

Found my old Me & Em tulip dress from last year and it is very shapeless, think I will send the ones I ordered straight back. Linus, yes, the leggings are expensive but really more like trousers and they are amazing on. Need more!

that sounds like a really lovely outfit liberty. i love those me&em trousers. if i needed a work wardrobe not based on lycra (!) I would buy for sure.

i'm in grey goldsigns, red/coral zoe k 'love' tee, grey/coral vejas and using j crew parka for all school runs.

tough practice, again . am about to place mammoth manuka order but won't link unless anyone is specifically interested, am sure it will be v boring to most.

Foxy we match! I'm in grey Stella moto skinnies, red/coral I&I cashmere, clashing nicely with orange Celine plus Whistles snakeskin flats. Had lovely coffee with friend.

thanks anni. they look lovely, too high for me but really nice. leather boots harder to find atm, it's all suede, esp if you want grey.
