I know I seem to be bombarding you all with requests to help me find stuff, but can anyone pleeeease help me find something like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=4.bp.blogspot.com/-eT1c1x_6JHo/UDSaGEkvy0I/AAAAAAAABe8/1PKzuYlV_Qo/s1600/1Victoria_Secret_low_back_bra.jpg&imgrefurl=thenew62.blogspot.com/2012/09/bras-for-all-boobies-knowing-your-shape.html&h=572&w=424&sz=34&tbnid=__jhftJIX5GSXM:&tbnh=90&tbnw=67&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dbackless%2Bbra%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=backless+bra&usg=__0tE2w-mnzOB6EbzOQNYjSvy0sjA=&docid=MApUVwe6nOv-DM&sa=X&ei=MCG6UciXNMGN7QaE_IDYDw&sqi=2&ved=0CHwQ9QEwBg&dur=10092" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this? I have a pistachio green silk Marc Jacobs halter neck and need something like this, but can I find one anywhere? Aaaargh! Going cross-eyed looking through site after site but all I can find are those weirdy stick-on jobs.

mignonette · 13/06/2013 21:21

Amber You have one more grey sweatshirt than I do...I have a 80's fetish for them. If I include DH's tally then we own about 9 between us. Mostly pretty similar....

I used to have a Flip London sweatshirt in grey that a fashion design student friend of mine customised by binding knitted welts (think thats what they're called) onto the waistband and cuffs. They were in baby blue wool and actually looked good. She had a lot of requests for the same. Sweatshirt was stolen from a ward office when I left it on the back of my chair...Angry

I recall seeing Brix Smith Start play the Cardiff Ocean Ballroom in Autumn 1984 when she was still married to Mark E Smith and in The Fall.Oh happy days..... She was such a cool chick with her guitar..

Rigby & Peller, Grumpy might be able to help even if they do not stock. They have encyclopaedic knowledge of bra stockists...

santamarianovella · 13/06/2013 21:25

foxy one of my friends has philip lim bag,and is very disappointed with it,

Dry hope you feel better soon. We always had flat lemonade when we were little.

Oh what a shame about P Lim bags.

grumpy i want one too. have been looking for ages

MarshaBrady · 13/06/2013 21:32

Anni great Whistles shopping. I hope DHL had you on a top customer list somewhere Grin. Actually not sure if Whistles is DHL.

QueenCadbury · 13/06/2013 21:44

grumpy this bra can be worn 100 ways Hmm

QueenCadbury · 13/06/2013 21:45

Would this work?

QueenCadbury · 13/06/2013 21:51

What about this bizarre looking contraption?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 13/06/2013 22:25

Thanks Ladies! QueenC that Wonderbra one was perfect....but sold out. I have requested an email when back in stock. If I've not heard in 10 days or so it may have to be the bizarre contraption! The top exposes too much back for any over-the-shoulder straps, they have to be halter too. I thought finding a backless bra would be easy!

libertychick · 13/06/2013 23:17

Right, proper catch up on today?

Great idea for a pin board QueenC I haven?t spent much time on pin lately but will get back into it. Hope you are feeling a bit better and that your DH is home. I like the Vero Moda blouse you bought a lot ? I used to buy lots of VM but none of my local shops stock it.

Marsha I love the cobalt theory skirt you linked and the silk shirt Shop linked ? will add to my list of brands to watch.

Dry DH bought me the black Brando biker ? hope this link works. Now this could be risky but my Dad swears by a small drink of port and brandy mixed for stomach upsets, he has made me have it a few times and amazingly it did seem to work

Great shopping Anni. I am following your boot hunt with great interest ? I find them really hard to buy too and when you do find the perfect pair and I going to follow suit Smile.

Thanks all for the lovely comments about my DH Smile

Grumpy good luck with the bra hunt

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 07:59

Morning all. Heading for North London today N19 (is that Archway?) With DS to meet an old mate / work colleague. Not sure what the hell we'll do round there if it's raining! What's everyone bought or made DH / DP for Father's Day?

Drywhiteplease · 14/06/2013 08:04

Port and brandy sounds very good indeed liberty but it's only 8am and I'm due to wear heels today!!Grin
Gutted that I'm not 100%, not feeling as crappy as last night ( see what I did there), should be filled with excrement ,oops excitement, but feeling rather apprehensive and hoping the horses will be the only runners today.

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 09:23

Grumpy the multiway is in stock (low stock tho) at fig leaves....

Good luck today Dry
Feeling pretty good today in a very basic outfit but just shows the difference good quality clothes can make I guess. Wang slubby vest over an M&S cream vest, Goldsign Lures, Hudson ankle boots, red lipstick, freshly painted nails. Will wear the new leather biker when I leave the house.

Date night with DH tomorrow night - think I might finally get to wear the Bella dress.

libertychick · 14/06/2013 09:53

Outfit sounds lovely Shop. I don't know Archway but if weather is not good I would get the bus or Tube up to Highgate village which has lots of nice shops and cafes. Or go into the city and go somewhere like the Tate modern which has lots of space for DS to run around and a nice shop/cafe for you.

foxysocks · 14/06/2013 09:53

DH is getting ten days in the bahamas for fathers day. if he's not here I'm not making an effort with gifts!

thanks for the dry cleaning advice amber and mignonette. such a shame about your wang (snort), the whole look and vibe of it is just what I'm after but i want something that will last years of heavy use.

I know many don't rate mulberry anymore but the bag i bought in 2005 looks amazing, is so well constructed and I have not been careful with it at all. for £400 and near daily use it's brill CPW so I want similar from my next big bag purchase

am put off by so many unlined bags, or lined with naff materials (marc jacobs, looking at you). it's not proving easy to spend money on a bag!

shop love the sound of your outfit, I adore my wang muscle vest too. the shape is uber flattering on me.

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 09:58

It is a fab shape Foxy, it covers the fleshy bits between my bra strap and armpit (I call them my underarm scallops) but still means I can show my arms! Will buy more if I see them. Not sure if it's the same cut as the muscle tees?

Thanks for the tips Liberty

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 14/06/2013 09:58

Shop I was going to say Highgate Village too, think it's up the hill.

Foxy what type of thing are looking for?

Liberty love the biker. Good work dh!

MarshaBrady · 14/06/2013 09:59

Good luck Dry hope all good.

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 10:00

Oh and Foxy - agree re: older Mulberry bags - my 10 year old plus ones are still going strong but my Bayswater from 3 years ago looks as though it has had better days. Curses the bastards who stole my old printed Bayswater AGAIN.
