That lining is reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton Keith Haring print several years ago. Has Marc not yet got it out of his system? It is bloody rowdy isn't it? To paraphrase...'Truly a party in your bag' only the party was a 90's rave and haven't we all moved on from that?

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 15:29

God! I go out for a few hours and you all go crazy!
Amber CONGRATULATIONS and yes I am shouting - that's fab news
Sleep Cake of awesomeness - well done
Had a good time with my old mate, DS loved him and we had a great walk around the park and then a bite to eat (up the hill somewhere!)
DS tried to play with another little boy in the park who was chasing pigeons but the boy ran at him and shoved DS over, I am such a wuss and had to really stop myself from having a go at the kid! Me? Overprotective?

Did Selfridges. Just a recce as historically they slash prices on day 3 of the sale, so will pop back at opening time tomorrow. Kids were fine, we went to visit DH for lunch and they were rewarded in the Disney store.

ooo well done amber! missed that. took me a few gos too, I got SO nervous.

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 16:06

Animal print pointed flats I so want to buy these but I reckon the hair will shed the minute you start walking?

mignonette · 14/06/2013 16:11

I like this Bayswater sandal...

and I used to have an identical ankle strap pump from Cacharel just like this one

mignonette · 14/06/2013 16:13

Shop

If Those animal print pumps are in similar skins to my Alexa, then they'll wear very badly, lose hair and develop shiny patches. Your cheetah's will be balding....

QueenCadbury · 14/06/2013 16:20

Ooh, that MJ lining is pretty in your face. Tht would put me off too. The lining is part of the bag and should make you smile when you open it. The radley I love is the grosvenor. I'd love it in grey ( a true grey, not the brown grey they did last year) or a cobalt or magenta. Are you listening Radley? You always seem to do wishy washy colours.

amber you obviously have your eye on something if you're heading back tomorrow?

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 16:21

That's what I reckon to Mignonette but they are pretty aren't they? A bit pricey just to look at tho.....
Back to the Madewell flats!

mignonette · 14/06/2013 16:25

Beautifully understated Queen.

The flats are gorgeous Shop. Maybe French Sole have some? I'll keep an eye out. WYB that I had a great pair of M&S Autograph leopard ballet pumps a few years back in calf hair that lasted two years before the sole developed a tear along the creases? Great value and quite fashion forward for them without their usual frippery....

libertychick · 14/06/2013 16:29

The grosvenor is very classy QueenC I like the croc effect on the brown version. The bland colours do let the Radley bags down.

The shoes are very pretty Shop

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 16:30

It's the point we're all after Mignonette.

I haven't looked at Radley bags in years QueenC - the dog put me off!

AmberNectarine · 14/06/2013 16:34

Queen, I've always got my eye on something... ;)

mignonette · 14/06/2013 16:43

The madewell flats are very similar to my Autograph ones. They do look great with a flat fronted cigarette pant in black and a sloppy T in that marl-opaque cotton or a sharp white/ cream shirt. Kind of slouchy-sexy-secretary Grin

QueenCadbury · 14/06/2013 16:56

amber you're very dedicated to the cause. Not sure that I could be arsed to trek up to Oxford st on a Saturday morning!

My tastes obviously aren't as bad as I thought. I thought everyone would slate the radley Grin. shop the dogs aren't too bad nowadays, much more understated.

BrandyAlexander · 14/06/2013 17:17

Well done Amber! Flowers and also well done liberty's dd - my dd was potty trained at 2 and then refused to do a poo in the potty for another year. sigh!

Sleep, the charity thing is very exciting. :) I am sponsoring a kindergarten and primary school with 150 children in a developing country. It's the kind of poverty where parents can't afford to send the kids to school because they can't afford the uniform, school supplies or to pay for lunch. Will pm you more details!

On fashion news..... I am trying to work out whether to finally scratch the Aspinal Barbarella itch that I have had for about 2 years. If so, red, black or navy. I am actually thinking red but not sure whether it is too.....and I can't think of the word after "too"?!

I am in the US next week. I was miserable about but I have just found out that it's 30 degrees!!! Finally get to wear my short sleeved dresses without a jacket. :)

shopafrolic · 14/06/2013 17:45

Donna Ida instore sale now on - not sure about online?

OP posts:
BrandyAlexander · 14/06/2013 18:00

Hi Shop, I just pm'd you on my US trip. I have forgotten what you really wanted to buy a few weeks ago (memory like a sieve!) but have sent you details of hotel and city :)

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 14/06/2013 18:04

Thanks for keeping the bras coming - haven't yet landed anything in my size, but I'll keep trying.
Having a bit of a moment as I've just checked the forecast and Tuesday's not looking good for Royal Ascot, weather-wise. Unfortunately Tuesday's dress does not lend itself well to jackets, but I have discovered this, but am a bit put off by the price (however reduced) because I don't know how much continued use I'd get out of it. What do you all think?

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 14/06/2013 18:06

Oh, also wanted to add... can't remember who it was, but thanks to whoever opened my mind to Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. Bought a bottle today and can not stop sniffing myself. I don't care how weird I looked, I smell so goooooood!

BrandyAlexander · 14/06/2013 18:13

Love the coat Grumpy. It's stunning.

BrandyAlexander · 14/06/2013 18:14

Should add, not sure I would pay that much for a summer coat though!
