Envy.

Green no work girl.

It would freak me slightly too seeing that face peering at me when I only want a cute little green one.

santamarianovella · 09/06/2013 20:59

the dvf looks too safe queen, look for something with wow factor!

LinusDKD · 09/06/2013 21:01

Nooooooo! So you can see your own normal green face and all I can see is several geeky girls!!!

LinusDKD · 09/06/2013 21:02

Right, I am going to shut down my Ipad and reboot it in the morning and hope that geeky girl got bored and is haunting someone else tomorrow.

Night night.

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2013 21:02

Out of all of them I love the blue Anglomania the most.

What shoes would you go for with it?

I'd go for simple and clean and have a colour in mind, but want to see what others think.

McNally · 09/06/2013 21:03

Some gorgeous dresses QueenC. Lovely mission to find a bday dress.

I like the skirt mignon. Great colour and think it could look really pretty. Think I'm outnumbered though!

QueenCadbury · 09/06/2013 21:05

drywhite don't worry, I'm not about to remortgage to buy the lace dress Grin

QueenCadbury · 09/06/2013 21:07

Green face for me too!

mignonette · 09/06/2013 21:09

Thank you McNally - I think I can style it up. I have an ancient old moth eaten Jaeger camel hair A line skirt very similar and it has really sang for its supper over the years. Worn with slingback square toe shoes, a secretary blouse that has some sheerness, black 10 deniers and a big chunky watch, it works. I love clear shades of blue too and it seems a less commonly seen blue too. I think it'd actually work with camel top or blouse but what do others think?

QueenCadbury · 09/06/2013 21:11

Grin at all the differing opinions on the dresses. Maybe I shouldn't take you lot shopping. It could be a long day!

santa no idea what I really want. I just want people to go 'wow'. I love the idea of a full length dress for the full on glamour of it but I would never have an occasion to wear it again. Anyway, I'm going to stop fantasy shopping for now as I have 4 months to go!

MarshaBrady · 09/06/2013 21:13

Mignonette you'd fit right in in Shoreditch with the skirt. I agree it's all down to styling, it could really work. Camel would be fab.

McNally · 09/06/2013 21:38

Like the idea of wearing it with a blouse and sling backs mignon. Or could dress it down with a boxy short sleeve sweater type top. There is a lot of experimental humanity in my bit of London. Fugly is fully embraced.

Sleepwhenidie · 09/06/2013 21:39

Love that blue Anglomania Dry, also spotted Acne in same shade?

I really like the idea of that blue skirt styled up mignon. Agree camel would be great with it.

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2013 21:45

Santa that's not the best photo.....but I can only get one on and I've been trying for days.the shoe boxes is the best pic! Will keep trying.

Would like to see the geeky girl haven't a clue what you're on about but it's funny that poor QueenC is tirelessly linking dresses and were all going on about green faces in the background.this thread is funny

Drywhiteplease · 09/06/2013 21:54

Shoes are on but I've disappeared........really loading pics is impossible!

Sleepwhenidie · 09/06/2013 21:58

Oops, typed Dry for dress when I meant queenC, sorree.

Thanks for the info re layering face creams Barbie, good to know. That vid was good too.

santamarianovella · 09/06/2013 22:04

sleep the NAP links are of the U.S site and it really hurts to see everything%50 offSad.
dry i could never do that! i could try, but sure would give up half way.it looks soo organized.i could use it as a sanctuaryGrin

libertychick · 09/06/2013 22:33

Mignonette I noticed that Reiss skirt in the Style mag and really liked it too. I had thought complete geek chic and wear it with fitted fine knit navy sweater (maybe a contrasting collar) and tan brogues. I'm not keen on the purple blouse - love the shorts.

Barbie thanks for the eye cream advice - I'll talk to Estee Lauder then!

Grin at Linus geeky girl!

QueenC another vote for the blue VW and also love the Acne one Sleep linked.

Evening Smile
Another day packing and sustaining yet more cardboard box cuts here, no time to even get dressed properly, have spent the day in Tshirt and jersey harems, oh well!
drywhite thanks for all the white jeans suggestions, I especially liked the sound of the stone swing merino.
I'm thinking of wearing this top with mine (safe and bit boring I know) I also have this which is a million times more day-glo in real life and is scratching my neon itch a bit but I'm unsold on wearing it with white.
How about yellow maybe?
Shoe wise I have these and these which I'm living in at the mo.
Mignonette I second the mingy hospital shower head advice...eww!
linus hello! I had that spooky face/pic swop thing once before about midnight whilst MNetting after a few sherbets, it fair freaked me out but it resolved on its own!
Mcnally hello! That pink necklace is awesome (practising US lingo)

Well, It's been lovely to start to get to know you voguers these last few days, you've all been really welcoming so thanks! I did only pop in to ask a cheeky question but I'm gonna try and stick around. I will be having the busiest couple of weeks of my life starting from now though so I feel I may not be around properly for a bit.

Night all

Hopefully · 10/06/2013 06:13

Morning! Long time no see - have been busy busy busy.

Leather those LKB sandals are lovely.

I have been feeling v unstylish lately as a few indulgent meals has led to a small pot belly putting in an appearance, so I am having a bit of a boot camp week to get rid of it! Will be doing Ripped in 30 (like Shred) for the next fortnight. Also we're going camping in a couple of weeks and I am trying to avoid buying new shorts, so need to shrink into the ones I have we will gloss over the fact that I bought them after losing loads of weight and there is not the smallest chance I will get into them Grin

Morning!

Well, geeky girl is still haunting my Ipad so I just have to get used to the fact that I can't use the little green face anymore.

The weird thing is that I checked my Iphone last night before going to bed and everything was normal on there. Strange!

Anyway, back to fashion. I am picking up a parcel from the post office this morning and I hope it's either my Jack Wills cardigan or my RL breton.

Either will come in handy as it has rained non-stop since last night.

LinusDKD · 10/06/2013 06:22

And sorry QueenC for hijacking the thread last night when you were linking your dresses.

Drywhiteplease · 10/06/2013 07:50

leather love both those tops and both shoes.....lovely looks.

Linus the mystery continues............Envy Grin
