I'm worried now. Going shopping with you lot after wine I dread to think how much I'll spend Grin.

Whoever asked about my shorts, they're these from fat face. I tried the gap sexy boyfriend on too which were nice but the sizing was peculiar. A 27 was hanging off me (never usually a 27!) but the 26 was far too tight. I try not to think that I paid £35 just for a pair of cut off jeans but I've wanted some for years but have been put off by the price but this year thought sod it.

I vaguely remember someone thinking about the gap rolled boyfriend and I have those from last year and love them.

mignonette I'm Envy of how people find stuff in tk maxx. Now dd has started nursery I'll have to go in for a child free mooch.

liberty I'll pm you.

Only about half an hour till granny and the other family members arrive and I won't have to do any more childcare until they leave on Sunday Grin Grin.

mignonette · 07/06/2013 17:32

I have the Gap rolled boyfriends. They hang low off the hip bone but don't give me nappy crotch. So I love them.

I had enough time to have a really good rummage today plus I ask the staff when the deliveries are. They never know what is in them but if i have time on my way to and from work a once a month trawl is on the timetable.

Have a look at French brand 'Heimstone'. I like these -

Perfecto Russel jacket--

santamarianovella · 07/06/2013 17:47

mignonette im impressed ,i never ever find anything at TK.

Decameron · 07/06/2013 18:08

Anni, shame about the pistols but think of the money saved!

Sleep, Rigby and Peller are excellent, I think.

Sorry about your father and FIL, Mignonette. That black dress you bought is fabulous.

Happy birthday to your DD, QueenC. My DD2 is two next week. I've been looking at nurseries for her this week, she'll start two mornings a week in January. Lovely bag but maybe the Gap one will go on sale, it looks like a good one for summer.

Hope your weekend is relaxing, Liberty, sounds like you deserve it.

My Anya bag just arrived, I love the colour. I'm a big Yoox fan now (and TK Maxx Smile).

foxysocks · 07/06/2013 18:27

am skim reading - i have NO time.

i also have gap sexy boyf (boak) shorts and love them. so flattering and comfortable.

£10 gold slim strap havs arrived from asos - very pleased. missoni-esque bandeau top on it's way appaz, will report back.

hello to all newbies! stick around Smile

queenc we MUST shop together soon. and if you fancy private yoga class with some friends let me know, rofl, have just booked DS into an extra morning at nursery so am planning to teach 3-4 classes per week.

londoners - would love to come and meet you in july. is sleep the one to mail?

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 18:31

Barbie1 · 07/06/2013 19:03

foxysocks are you a yoga teacher? Envy is so could I bend your ear about something later?

I have three years in Korea, not officially allowed to work what a shame Wink

However I've been thinking of either training to teach yoga or Pilates. Or going for it and getting my insanity teacher cert. ladies who are doing the shred, check out insanity beach body for your next workout programme.

Loving reading about all the shopping done. Haven't been to tk max in years and quite frankly my patience and children wouldn't tolerate it. However if I manage child free time once home I might be tempted to have a visit.

I'm back to the packing, hope you all have fashionable, fabulous weekends...

Air kisses everyone, mwah darlings! Wink Grin

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 19:23

foxy too bad you live so far away because I would like to have some proper yoga lessons.

Sleep if I find a bra that fits tomorrow I'm also buying it in several colours. Oh, and that Maje cardi looks lovely!

Hello prima.

QueenC happy birthday to your DD and DM and enjoy the free childcare.

Liberty I hope your weekend is better than your week.

I have been fantasy shopping in my head all afternoon ahead of my shopping trip tomorrow and now I really feel like spending big tomorrow. Blush

shopafrolic · 07/06/2013 19:33

Love that dress Sleep - glad the underwear issue is sorted!

Waaah! So much to catch up on. Have been distracted by work/childcare disaster.

Sleep great Maje buy. Love that bit of Selfridges. I go to Rigby & Peller. Amazing service. Sometimes takes quite a few goes for them to bring stuff that isn't a bit on the dull side though. I suspect the average age of their client base is on the older side?

QueenC happy birthday to your DD. Enjoy the weekend and the bonus childcare.

novice lots of luck for your event. Am sure you'll be fabulous and look amazing whatever you decide on.

Marsha congrats on the job and one any news on the application?

Liberty Wine. Will be having a few too Smile.

OneLittleLady · 07/06/2013 19:41

No news yet Mcnally still waiting on my reference to come through so I can send the application in! Hoping it's going to come sooner rather than later though

mignonette · 07/06/2013 19:44

A Happy Birthday to your children QueenC and Decameron...What are the plans for the day itself?

Barbi When do you go to Korea and whereabouts? I have been there on two separate occasions, to Seoul, Busan and Cheju island. My Father worked there so we went out there to spend some time with him- stints of a couple of months each time. The people are wonderful and the food much better than it is depicted- fond memories of Bulgogi Beef barbecued on a pail of hot charcoal set into our table.

Fabulously weird cosmetics too-home of the BB creams and the kitschiest packaging known to man. The clothing is all tiny of course.

TK Maxx always blissfully deserted thank goodness. Do not know if I could tolerate shopping there if it had TopShop-on-Saturday levels of customers.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 07/06/2013 19:51

I may not be strictly in the market for yellow shoes any more shop but am sorely tempted now...or how about the zebra version?

Sleep you've given me a hankering for Maje now. Love that cardigan - it would look fab with cut off jeans.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 07/06/2013 19:55

half price

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 19:56

In my top 10 fantasy shopping list I created this afternoon:

Sofia Coppola for LV

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 07/06/2013 20:02

Oh, Linus. That is beeeaauuuutiful.

santamarianovella · 07/06/2013 20:21

linus I looooove the Sofia bag, sadly it's a bit over my budget.

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 20:27

I know! I love it too! But, to be fair, it is also over my budget.

But if I have this bag I will be as cool as Sofia Coppola

MarshaBrady · 07/06/2013 20:31

She is amazing isn't she. Director, designer, actress too. And with style.

Love the bag.

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 20:43

I know the critics didn't agree but I loved her in The Godfather part III.

Maybe she wasn't the best actress but her shyness and innocence opposite the threatening, violent and very virile Andy Garcia was endearing.

MarshaBrady · 07/06/2013 20:45

I agree. I thought she was fantastic in it. I'm yet to watch to the end but I was amazed when I worked out it was her.

santamarianovella · 07/06/2013 20:48

linus she is sooo cool, and was young when she filmed the godfather ,ooh loved andy garcia! the godfather movies are dh favorite,he quotes don corleone sayings all the time.

marsha your right,i know she got slammed for marie antoinette, but i think its a very creative adaptation, one of my favorite movies .

LinusDKD · 07/06/2013 20:55

Marsha you have to watch the end! I don't want to give away the ending but Al Pacino does some of his finest acting. (so gutted he looks soo weird now, he used to be so handsome when he was younger).

I haven't seen Marie Antoinette but maybe I should.

She's a bit like Angelica Houston (coincidentally also a director's daughter), not conventionally pretty but beautiful nontheless.
