Bah just lost a long post.....
Hope all the ill people recover soon.

MrsR I like those Whistles trousers - how do you style them???

santamarianovella · 06/05/2013 22:37

lol liberty that happens to me quite a lot,
thats nice of your friend shop, your evening sounds way better than mine,we are on a game of thrones marathon and im sick of all the blood !

Drywhiteplease · 06/05/2013 22:51

Agree, shop, what a lovely friend....I've just spent 4hrs building an Ikea wardrobe!

libertychick · 06/05/2013 23:07

Santa is game of thrones something I should know about - I see references to it everywhere but somehow actually knowing anything about it seems to have passed me by - more evidence of aging I suspect.

Well done Drywhite!!! And now you get all the fun of arranging your clothes even more perfectly than they are already! Please do post a picture of the final result - give me something to aspire to - I have a sneaking suspicion that my rather haphazard clothing storage arrangements would give you a headache worse than the one poor Anni has right now!

shopafrolic · 06/05/2013 23:29

Glad it's not just me who didn't know what Santa was referring to Liberty!

Drywhite well done on the wardrobe building. I always hate hanging the doors. Drives me mad adjusting them to get them right.....

And we are done!
liberty shop,I'm Shock you must be living on another planet !game of thrones is the best show on tv,you give it a go,but I warn you,the killing scenes are very graphic!.
DH is mad about it ,he read the books, and keeps ruining it for me.

Annianni · 07/05/2013 06:49

Thanks for the good wishes :)

I was ok-ish yesterday, after the Migraleave had kicked in.
I managed to have a shower and I sat outside for a couple of hours.

But I then made the mistake if going to sainsburys with dh and ds2.
By the time I got to the till, I was going dizzy and had to go back to bed when I got home :(

Dh is having today off work and taking me to the doctors.
I can't drive and can't cope with ds2 like this.

I don't know what Game of Thrones is either.

libertychick · 07/05/2013 06:57

Oh poor you Anni - sounds awful.

Well I have just worked all night, straight through - wired at the moment on coffee and adrenaline. About to shower now and head in to the office for a team half day thing - luckily will be able to leave at 1pm and come home and crash....

shopafrolic · 07/05/2013 07:01

Damn you Liberty now that you've done that I can't complain about DS keeping me awake all night!
Anni pleased you're going to the docs

I have been listening to Game of Thrones on audiobook, so have resisted the series on tv, but might crack and download it at some stage.

Beautiful day here today, quite looking forward to cycling to town later. We had a lovely bike ride to the beach yesterday, about 90 mins gentle cycling each way, with the boys in the trailer (towed by DH, I hasten to add!). I wore a skirt so have a tiny bit of colour on my legs, finally. Liked my khaki whistles tube skirt with neon trainers Smile

anni sorry I haven't pm'ed you, will do it as soon as I am computer when the nanny arrives - it is too fiddly on my phone!

Drywhiteplease · 07/05/2013 07:21

liberty v satisfying. Actually it's for my DS ...amazing storage. Want one myself....will try to post pic when it's filled.
Yes shop lots of when hanging f*ing doors!!Shock
Photos at work today, always depressing. They manage to choose lighting that highlights wrinkles ....last year I raced to Boots straight after and bought loads of creams....so this year I should look totally
Line free and 15 years younger Grin

Decameron · 07/05/2013 07:22

Liberty, keep drinking the coffee and sleep this afternoon! I have that Whistles blazer, agree, you should definitely buy it.

Anni, QueenC, OneLittleLady, get well soon.

Shop, glad you had a nice evening.

I bought two pairs of DKNY Active ballet flats in pink and cobalt in a great shop temptingly located around the corner from where we live. Thought about this pink bag which had 20% off there but not sure I'd really use it after summer.

Gorgeous day again, I am putting on a sundress and taking DD2 to the paddling pool in the park as soon as we drop DD1 to school.

shopafrolic · 07/05/2013 07:44

Lots of designer sandals on Brand Alley today including Balmain gladiators (can't remember who was looking sorry!)
Also up to 25% off dresses at GAP

Thanks Shop! Only thing is I'm not too keen on patent, so shall resist, be nice if they put the fresh lovely colours on there.

Anni and OneLittle sounds awful, hope pain is subsiding. QueenC and Amber hope you feel better.

Have French doors open and the birds are tweeting like mad, a lovely start to another sunny day.

We have a few days off work/ dc to indulge soon. Keep checking forecast to see if weather will stick.

MarshaBrady · 07/05/2013 08:08

Although half price Lanvin always good. I need a dress like your lovely Levi one, from the outnet hopefully if pre sales.

They are lovely Shop - nice to see a pair of sandals that aren't covered in studs! I am so bored of studs...

AmberNectarine · 07/05/2013 08:53

Thanks for good wishes all. Kids are at nursery and I am in bed. Heaven.

Eurotrash bag arrived and I love it. And I've lost 3lbs. The only good things to happen this weekend.

LinusDKD · 07/05/2013 09:08

The two Atterley Road dresses have arrived. I was looking for two dresses to just throw on in the morning and that could be machine washed and these fit the bill

www.atterleyroad.com/audrey-heart-print-dress-6.html

This one is lovely even though I prefer a lower v-neck but maybe I can ask a seamstress to fix that.

I will probably wear it with the tan Fratelli Rosetti sandals I bought a few years ago (and if I'm really brave my Dries Van Noten high-heeled sandals which I have worn only a handful of times)

www.atterleyroad.com/ellie-meadow-dress-6.html

This is a very flattering dress even though it has a very high neckline. The colours are maybe a bit too muted in real life but I hope they will look better in the sunshine.

I really love Lanvin flats, I nearly bought a pair several years ago at Dover Street Market but they didn't have my size.

But Brand Alley don't deliver outside of the UK. Angry

Annianni · 07/05/2013 09:33

I'm going to the docs in 30 minutes.
Lost 2lbs over the weekend.
Now taking volterol tablets which are helping but I keep going dizzy.

Ds2 keeps saying 'mummy ow' and kissing my head.
Then... Poorly mummy poorly... Poorly mummy poorly... repeated every few minutes.

I'm wearing neon coral tee (which dh commented on, so the grey theory works)
With Hudson Beth's rolled up and gold hav's.
No make up and hair in a bobble.
I look like crap and I don't care! :o

I'll catch up on links when i'm mended.

Hope you get to the docs today onelittle

I love putting flat pack furniture together [saddo]

QueenCadbury · 07/05/2013 09:34

Morning all. Finally the d&v has stopped but I feel so weak still. Dh took the big dc to school so I'm just trying to keep dd entertained and counting down the hours till she goes to bed at lunchtime so I can too. Hope everyone else feeling ok.

foxysocks · 07/05/2013 09:38

I love TW, she is brill.

am not bored of studs at all, I would love a pair of rockstuds . will never happen!

DH and I have agreed to rebrand our anniversary this year as denim, WIN. he is going to choose a pair of jeans and I am going to ask for this. not super exciting but I need one and think it will last forever.

are current/elliott def on the big side? will 26s be massive on me or nicely slouchy? am an 8.

foxysocks · 07/05/2013 09:39
