that is the one I need want

McNally · 05/05/2013 23:16

Shop is so right, if the forecast for tomorrow is right, it is definitely not a laundry day! Woo hoo!

Was quite surprised at Shane Watson's new discovery, the scarf, too Liberty. I briefly fell in love with the Lily and Lionel scarf that went with the item, mainly cos I love the colours, but then come to realisation that it might be a bit boring? Any thoughts anyone?

libertychick · 06/05/2013 00:03

McNally I thought the scarf was a bit 'meh' TBH but then those colours don't appeal to me. There are much nicer L&L scarves such as this one or this flamingo print.

Great bag onelittlelady.

I have my sundress for tomorrow draped across the end of the bed - 22 degress, so excited!

MrsRadicchio · 06/05/2013 08:10

Grin at Shane Watson's new fashion discovery.

Hope the weather is hot today...not looking too good here yet!

Hats off to all of you whose Dh's work away from home. I am lucky that DH is generally around for bedtime and weekends, not sure I would cope otherwise...

Has anyone seen any white boyfriend jeans?

And has anyone seen a mid calf tube skirt like this anywhere, or know where I could get one?

Hopefully I think the zebra trousers I saw were on shopbop but I can't see them now. Think they were jeans rather than leggings though.

stripy maxi for Amber?

Shop did you get the American vintage blazer like this (not that colour!) What is the sizing like? I like it in the green, have also seen it in blue. Considering it but not sure to go M or L.

Happy bank holiday to all!

shopafrolic · 06/05/2013 08:27

MrsR I've got 2 AV blazers that I got as style passport went bang. They are on my SS board on Pin. Or the In My Wardrobe board. Can't check at the moment as on BB. Mine are both larges - I'm a 12 to 14 normally. More of a 12 on top. They are both quite tight on the arms so work better over vests. As a result I haven't worn them much yet!
Beautiful sunshine here!

There were some cream boyfriends on the Outnet I think but I didn't see white.

Morning all. I had been feeling better but now I cannot be too far from a toilet Blush. Sorry for tmi Grin. The only thing i'll be buying today will be dioralyte. Still, by time this norovirus has finished I should be half a stone lighter!

bob I am the queen of cardigans. I really rate oasis. They bring them out every season in different colours (shame I've had to get rid of so many of mine as they were my wrong colours!). Gap often do cardis too but don't seem to have much at the moment. Warehouse are good quality too. Also mango. I agree that m&s can seem frumpy but it's just the awful colours they do. Having said that, I got one in my perfect pink so just depends what you're after. Avoid the h&m ones if you need to regularly wash them. They're cheap as chips but with the inevitable snot on shoulder the frequent washes just leaves them looking tired.

travel I'm with you-I'd also look like a 1970s cleaner!

I'm thinking I should stock up on wafty kimono/silk type things as am going to Marrakech in march for a long weekend.

shop am loving my colours thanks. It was worth every penny!

McNally · 06/05/2013 09:32

Poor you QueenC. D and V is truly miserable. Hope you feel better again soon. Lots of water needed to flush it through if you can bear it. I had a mild bout the other week and lost 5 lbs in about 3 days. Put it all back on now but weighing myself cheered me up no end Smile.

Asos have some midi tube skirts MrsR but no stripy ones that I could see. This Whistles one is nice but too short. Sorry, not much help.

Thanks for that re the scarf Liberty. "Meh" is a good description I think. I fell out of love overnight.

Have a lovely bank holiday all.

foxysocks · 06/05/2013 09:34

there are white boyfriend jeans on my wardrobe and shopbop, but they are ££

my bikini hunt is not going so well. i want a top exactly like this - the black one, not the bronze, but annoyingly it's not for sale grrr

anyone seen one?

LinusDKD · 06/05/2013 09:45

Foxysocks I bought something very similar from Liz Hurley Swimwear a few years ago and surprisingly it has washed really well over the years. (if you can get over the fact it's LH of course)

Bob I have a couple of woolovers cardigans and the quality is very good for that price. Oh, and every time I see someone call you Bob I have to think of Blackadder and his 'Bob' Grin

Liberty not happy with my arms nor my legs so the dress really is a nono for me.

MrsRadicchio · 06/05/2013 09:53

Thanks for the advice, just looking at outnet and asos now.

Shop thanks for the info about the AV blazer...I am going to stalk it to see if it drops in price.

JCrew has 30% extra off their sale (sunshine)

orange flats

I love this

Really like this see through cambridge satchel here (scroll down) but totally impractical.

After slagging off whistles, I skipped out of there happily yesterday. I got the blazer Anni or Queen has (sorry can't remember exactly who). Liberty YOU SHOULD BUY IT Grin. Also bought these trousers Not reinventing the wheel but they are comfy and have worn the charcoal ones I have lots.

Saw the dress you got Dry - lovely in the flesh. Tried on the top version but it looked beyond awful on me.

There was also a white bag I loved but can't see it online to link. Think I will go and have another look when their sale starts.

MrsRadicchio · 06/05/2013 09:58

Bob makes me think of twin peaks!

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2013 10:07

Morning lovely ones, this weather is divine. Am in garden in bikini top, shorts, hat and sunglasses. I fear I will not be budged from this spot for some time. Trouble is I rarely lie on my front, my front gets more of a tan than the back, a one sided piece of toast.

MrsR love those J Crew things.

OneLittle think that site doesn't link to items, saw a bag not a cuff. Don't they know we have links to do!

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2013 10:11

Foxy I'd like one like that, I don't like strap marks so end up tying my normal one round the back. Will keep an eye out. Wonder if the outnet does anything like that.

AmberNectarine · 06/05/2013 10:13

We are the house of vom here too. DS all day yesterday, me all night then DH all morning. Have just had an enterprising hour with a bottle of bleach to avoid DD getting it. I have been awake since 1am, so I was truly miffed to find it was only 8.30am a while ago. It's going to be a long day.... I too am looking at the weight loss silver lining!

Anni I really like that dress, had clocked it in my search. It's not exactly what I was looking for but I may well get it anyway.

MrsRadicchio · 06/05/2013 10:15

Foxy how about these

QueenC hope you feel better soon.

shopafrolic · 06/05/2013 10:19

I bought my DS Crocs yesterday - will I be thrown off the thread?
In other news, I'm wearing this dress today. I've taken off the leather string belt (which I will use as a bracelet if I can work out how to tie it round my wrist with no help a la Morten Harket!) and am using a thin brown belt instead.

OP posts:
shopafrolic · 06/05/2013 10:20

Eeeeeew - get well soon everyone. Vom = not good.

OP posts:
foxysocks · 06/05/2013 10:24

that's a possibility, thanks mrsR

victoria's secret have some nice ones too but annoyingly i don't think you can order online from the UK stores, will have to go to the shop when in london i think

melissa odabash sometimes pops up on outnet i think marsha

now I wish I'd got out of bed earlier as I really have to get my yoga practice done before can lie in the sun.

santamarianovella · 06/05/2013 10:27

morning all,
poor you queen,it sounds awful, hope u feel better soon.
mrsR,i saw similar one at FCUK and by malene birger.
amber ,we went through it back in nov,it was terrible, dss had to be hospitalized.i hope your DD, doesnt get it,hope you get well soon.

foxysocks · 06/05/2013 10:28

that's a gorgeous dress shop. wish they did it in some other colours, that orange does nothing for me.

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2013 10:36

Shop I love that dress too, especially with a thin leather belt.

Thanks Foxy will check it out, I have very old plain black H&M ones. Every year I think I should update but find the cost per square cm on bikinis very high. Grin

I have saying for donkeys I'd like an Eres one, but so ££. I'd better hurry up and get something.

santamarianovella · 06/05/2013 10:45

ERES, are gorgeous marsha,im loving mara hofman, but they are way too expensive for swimwear, the beach cover ups are soo pretty.

Hopefully · 06/05/2013 10:57

MrsR Topshop have a slightly different stripe tube skirt and a coloured one. Also By Malene Birger here and here.

It was chilly this morning, but turned into a lovely sunny day. I think we might pop to the beach for an hour or two this afternoon - I am wearing whistles tube skirt and determined to get some sun to my legs!

MarshaBrady · 06/05/2013 10:59

I love that they are simple and lovely colours. Coincidentally just got the outnet email without designer swimwear - £600 bikinis anyone? Discounted now. That is a good profit margin!
