That's a gorgeous bag Sleep! Have a great holiday.

Sleepwhenidie · 31/03/2013 22:04

Good idea Topaz.

novice did you find your necklace Sad? Such a horrible feeling, losing something precious.

libertychick · 31/03/2013 22:08

Happy Easter all! We are the Easter Grinches here - sausages for dinner as both of us too lazy too cook and only one bar of chocolate in the house - DH doesn't eat it, I am trying to watch the amount I eat and so far we have not introduced DD to the delights of the cocoa bean! Most people we know are aghast we haven't bought her an Easter egg Grin

Lovely jeans and bag sleep - perfect for hols. Re MW I have no idea what the service is like outside London but could you opt for a named day delivery (extra £ of course) or call their customer services and ask if they could delay dispatch until you are back home?

If you all do a Paris Vogue line up for the MU I insist on a picture! Really wish I could make it...

Major wardrobe purge today - have a couple of charity shop bags that will make some people very happy - I am lazy/disorganised and a Luddite to boot so the truth is I will never get around to ebaying/swop boarding them so they are going to my local RSPCA shop instead - nothing high end but decent items that have hardly been worn. And much bigger bags that are destined for the recycling bin. My wardrobe looks so much better and I have rediscovered a few things as well which is great.

Tackling shoes, bags, scarves and junk jewellery is my next challenge....once that is done the Project 333 collection should be much easier to assemble Smile

Drywhiteplease · 31/03/2013 22:17

Greeting from sunnier climes!
sleep love the bag...perfect for air travel.
novice I really hope you can find you necklace.
a,ber agree with the others about the lovely top....nice to show cheaper stuff too.
Project 33 wouldn't work for me. What I did do when I started my new job this time next year was to try to wear a different outfit every day for a month ( allowed to reuse one or two items, just as long as the outfits weren't exactly the same) to make me use the stuff I have more creatively instead of repeating current favourites until I'm stick of them or buying new stuff . I rediscovered loads of old favorites .I could try doing it again for 33 days.

BrandyAlexander · 31/03/2013 22:43

Hi, no haven't found the necklace yet. I just don't know what happened. This is the pendant that mil got me for christmas a couple of years ago so really hope I find it.

I think I have subconsciously been reassuring myself by wearing v old pieces from my collection this weekend. Yesterday, I wore the very first item of jewellery I was bought by my second serious boyfriend. It was in 1991, cost £40 from Samuels. It's a simple 9 ct blue topaz ring and i wore it for many years. Today, I have been wearing the gold locket my parents gave me in 1994 for my 21st birthday. I rarely wear gold so makes a nice change. Hopefully they will bring me luck.Smile

Sleepwhenidie · 31/03/2013 23:00

Fingers crossed novice, I know how you feel, I lived in hope for my tennis bracelet until we literally ripped our house apart (for renovation) and still didn't find it Sad

Very excited, have just booked flights for the end of April to go and visit my best friend in Doha where she has been living for 5 years without me visiting. It's her 40th birthday, long flight but no DC's's to interrupt my g&t/book/sleep (the bliss), guaranteed sunshine, hanging out with my lovely, much missed mate and a reason to wear my Acne dress again, woohooGrin

BrandyAlexander · 31/03/2013 23:23

Oh super! We're going on a flight in 3 weeks except our dcs will be with us. Not quite the same as your lovely sound hols! Grin

foxysocks · 01/04/2013 09:55

LOVE the orange bag sleep, great shape. jeans look v useful too.

marsha i like that maxmara but think will hang on for now. have checked AV (on asos) and nothing jumping out at me, but thanks jenny

i might be about-turning on the gigis, the fit is actually ok and they are v comfortable but i don't understand the leather/not leather, as def described as leather on the website but 'other materials' on the shoes themselves. if they are plastic then the snakeskin effect is going to crack when i wear them rather than age nicely. am off to london for a few days later so can't return till end of the week at the earliest, will consider it a little longer.

speaking of london - where is your favourite place to head for a mooch around? i don't need anything in particular but might try on some stuff and check bits out in the flesh before stalking summer sales.

i enjoyed westfield london when i was there a few months ago but fancy somewhere different. not cov garden i go there all the time. kings road, maybe? am child free, if that makes a diff, so no pushchairs/snack breaks to consider....

AmberNectarine · 01/04/2013 09:59

Knightsbridge is always good foxy, Harvey Nichols accessories hall always makes me happy. If you don't mind walking you could then wander down Sloane Street and onto KR.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 10:08

Foxy I love Liberty / Regent St along Conduit, Bond to Mount St. Ah been a while since I've done that one.

Will be do

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 10:09

Phone! Doing Liberty to use a voucher.

Kensington good too.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 10:10

I mean Knightsbridge I rarely do Kensington .

foxysocks · 01/04/2013 10:11

thanks amber and marsha, great ideas! will decide last minute on weds i reckon. cannot wait to have child-free browsing time.

Sleepwhenidie · 01/04/2013 10:17

Marylebone High St is lovely foxy, especially if you like home stuff too (Conran Shop, Skandium, Designers Guild and others). Some great cafes/restaurants if you want a break. Then Selfridges is two minutes walk further on from there.

santamarianovella · 01/04/2013 10:48

i second sleep marylebone is great for shopping and not overwhelming at all . theory,by malene birger, matches are all there ,and i love the divertimenti branch,so if you are child free that day you can browse without fear.
the providores cafe do very good breakfasts and brunch.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 10:58

Oh yes Matches in Marylebone High St is lovely.

BrandyAlexander · 01/04/2013 11:32

Sigh the Kings Road. Old stomping ground per dcs.Smile Or even better Sloane Street. Reminds me of my wedding. Smythson for bags, notebooks and stationary, Basia for jewelry, Joseph Azagury for shoes. Sigh. Sigh.

BrandyAlexander · 01/04/2013 12:22

I found my necklace! Yippee! Yippee! Yippee! I am an idiot, I had put it in a pouch in my changing bag ready to take to the shop on Saturday. Blush

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 12:38

Excellent news Novice!

QueenCadbury · 01/04/2013 12:59

Anyone want this for dh. I'm assuming it's an April fools...

QueenCadbury · 01/04/2013 13:06

Brilliant novice!

foxy lucky you. I used to love kings rd too as I lived near there when I first moved to London after uni.

sleep love your purchases and planned girls break!

QueenCadbury · 01/04/2013 13:12

foxy is this too yellow?

BrandyAlexander · 01/04/2013 15:22

I am so relieved Grin

QueenC that's a lovely top. Would look rubbish on me but is beautiful.

I have escaped upstairs to tidy up while dh entertains the dcs. How do they manage to ransack our room every single day?!

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 15:40

Big spring clean here. You know you've got it bad when you get to the point of putting Mr Men books in the right order and cleaning the top of the spice jars. Throwing so much stuff out, got to be done sometimes.

I felt the same when I thought I had lost my watch Novice and felt SO relieved for days. I love it, and it means a lot to me. Found it under ds2's bed.

MarshaBrady · 01/04/2013 15:40

QueenC my eyes!

Sleep how exciting re holiday, sounds lovely.
