Bobbi, a flew Heidi Klein bits on TK Maxx swimwear, vastly reduced?

BobbiFleckmann · 25/02/2013 13:41

thanks carrie - have a few on order from there, just waiting to see what they're like but still after something floor length and am going to hotfoot it over to TK Maxx - thanks theweek (anyone who can point me to cheesecloth / beaded kaftans for the under 8's will also be rewarded by good karma!)

foxysocks · 25/02/2013 14:51

i will admit to having a completely different wardrobe for my trips to India (I go almost yearly, pg/babies not withstanding, for anything from 1-3 months at a time). i wear cotton harems (bought there) with linen tees mainly, and take a hoody and trackies for early morning (I go for yoga).

look at zara for l/s linen tees, bobbi. in fact i think DMBL40 did a whole feature on these a while ago.

also how about ebay? might get a few OOS bargains.

i got that style passport email too and have a virtual basket full. however i should probably be sensible and remove it all apart from the one item i wanted last SS, decided to wait for the sales and then it sold out EVERYWHERE and i couldn't get em for love nor money. can you feel a little bit of history repeating....

foxysocks · 25/02/2013 14:58

oh and SCARVES. lots of lightweight scarves. that way on days we are going to be at lots of western-friendly places i have managed to get away with a vest top and my harems, only wrapping the scarf around me for getting in-between locations.

Hello - just a quickie to say that there's 20% off all JCrew orders with the code INSIDER.

You might need to sign up to the newsletter first though.

QueenBOObread · 25/02/2013 15:15

Marsha, thanks v much for the PM - will reply this eve.

McNally · 25/02/2013 15:32

Thanks for that J Crew code QueenBOO. Has anyone got one of their Tippi sweaters? I wondered how their sizing worked out.

This doesn't fit the bill for Bobbi and very pricey for a beach/pool coverup, but is very pretty.

QueenBOObread · 25/02/2013 15:34

I have a Tippi in dark green - I'm a busty 10 and their small is a neat fit. Lovely quality - has never bobbled (and everything I wear bobbles) and washes well.

BobbiFleckmann · 25/02/2013 15:39

my eyes are literally BOGGLING at what the Outnet describe as a beach dress. Thank you Lanvin, I would love to look like a basting chicken at the beach: www.theoutnet.com/product/182442

BrandyAlexander · 25/02/2013 15:41

Hi just popping in! Fly to the us this afternoon, in lounge now. Dh's last words were "try not to spend too much"Grin

BrandyAlexander · 25/02/2013 15:43

My word! That is very funny Bobbi

Annianni · 25/02/2013 15:45

First parcel arrived today, two ZK tee's from Asos... not a good look, wrong colours for me and not slouchy enough... sent straight back.

Next delivery please :o

I've just ordered the Hush jersey blazer in dark navy, charcoal and grey marl.
I've tried Zara's and Gap's versions this season and they weren't a good fit for me.

Annianni · 25/02/2013 15:48

That dress is hideous Bobbi.

Have fun Novice.

Good to see you back Sleep.

McNally · 25/02/2013 15:50

Blimey Bobbi. You would also feel like a basting chicken in that Lanvin dress on the beach. Looks a bit sweaty.

Have a good flight novice and, should you choose not to heed those words of your DH, enjoy the shopping.

Thanks QueenBOO. That's very helpful.

foxysocks · 25/02/2013 15:55

ooo have fun novice! do you have a shopping plan? i know i would, my friend is going back in june and already have three things on the list for him to get rotfl

BrandyAlexander · 25/02/2013 16:30

Thanks :) no sadly no shopping time as I barely have time to shop! We have decided to get an ipad for our nanny (so we can facetime the kids during the day) so that's my main shopping task and will prob go to Banana Republic and Ann Taylor. I miss the kids so I end up stacking the trips so I am away least amount of time. time. I w

BrandyAlexander · 25/02/2013 16:32

Ps I always have to decide which will be my one bag this week. It was Smythson Nancy in red last month when I travelled. Balenciaga won today. I love it.

BrandyAlexander · 25/02/2013 16:36

Oh and last post Grin... Todays travelling outfit...desigual butterfly top, banana republic skinny cords, and my new Primark (yes you read that right!) waterfall cardigan with JL cashmere coat, powder blue pashmina (to match bag) and LKB sol boots. Jewellrey for the week is diamonds.

QueenCadbury · 25/02/2013 19:56

bobbi if you want something cheap for dd you could try primark. They certainly had some last summer which I bought for my dd as a beach coverup.

novice have fun. How much is too much? Grin

foxysocks · 25/02/2013 20:22

had some end of february funds leftover so bought these at 30% off plus 8% cashback so £88 delivered. am pleased, I've loved them for a year or so now and will get SO much wear out of them. DH will also be pleased as I will stop prattling on about them and bookmarking them on endless online boutiques

www.style-passport.com/shop/ash-virgin-classic-buckle-high-top-clay-1931-e-e

have also ordered nude knickers and am about to order pillows. rock and roll.

shopafrolic · 25/02/2013 20:31

Primark and waterfall cardigan in one post?! [Grin] kudos

foxysocks · 25/02/2013 20:36

thanks shop. i loved them last year but waited for the sales, by which point all the 38s had sold out . £88 is a lot for me but hoping cost per wear will bring it down :-)
