Hi ladies may I join in? Been looking for a "home" on mumsnet and think s&b is it! I've just taken delivery from net a porter and my wardrobe this week and need to hide in shame.

When I went on mat leave net a porter rang me as they had noticed I had stopped shopping and wanted to check it wasn't due to dissatisfaction. Oops. It wasn't - I had just ballooned. Anyway, back to normal size for a yr and abnormal spending.

As for the bag thread, argh...buy what you like, enjoy it, and ignore the do gooders. Nothing to say a lady with a pricey bag isn't a good person is there?!

I've scratched my black-tights-white-shoes itch with the purchase of these Zara kitten heels. Ok it's slightly off my SS13 piste, but I feel virtuous spending £40 rather than the £150 for the KG versions which En Brogue linked to.

I'd have preferred a higher heel but I've been waiting for Zara to get these back in stock for a week forever so had no choice but to jump ship.

Am I the only one who would like Novice to list her full collection?

Ds fell asleep this morning (to make up for lack of sleep last night so I pushed him round the shops for 1.5 hours. Who knew primark did gym wear??? Anyway bought a few bits to try plus a few cardigans to ear round the house.

QueenBOO I love nude with black but am going to wear a gold bag and strappy gold heels so I think gold is better. Unless I find some nude shoes too?! Nooooo....don't make me 'need' MORE shoes! :)

They are fab. And funnily enough I am just on Shopbop right now. Have found a lovely top which I tried on here but is much cheaper there (£135 here and $118 there) but now I can't remember which size. Returns there have to be DHL?

I think the DHL returns cost around £25 to Shopbop so very cynically I always make sure I've tried it on first and haven't had to fork out.

Mmmm. I'm sure I tried on a S but now am wondering if M may be better and more 'drapey'.

I love the whole pointy ballet flat thing, Drywhite but those are stunning. It makes me wonder why they've all been round-toed for the last decade...?

Pointy ballet flats on big foots like me will look awful I think, I can carry off pointed heels but flats might be pushing it..... I love them, but they won't love me back.
