I had a look too but decided to stay here with the fabulous fashionistas. Too much negativity....
And the award for shopper of the week goes to Anni!

amber I sympathise-I've felt a little delicate today too and to top it off my periods started. Still, at least that explains the confidence crisis last night!

Nice links everyone. Love the scarf whoever pinned that.

As for the bag thread I wish people wouldn't be so bloody rude. I might start a thread for a laugh saying I've got 10 grand to spend on clothes and bags Grin

shopafrolic · 22/02/2013 20:24

That should have read too much negativity out there, not on this thread!!

Ooooh I'm off to look at bag thread.......meanies! I love this thread.
Since my trip to London and funny fashion swoon in the Selfridges shoe gallery I have decided that at 29 I'm going to stop buying cheap bulk and buy one investment, quality item.
I saw
this in the flesh and its so sweet.....I'm going to watch it and snap it up in the sale......or maybe sooner, I've no will power!

shopafrolic · 22/02/2013 21:29

That is beautiful Drywhite. And what a lovely place to have worked!
I've definitely become more of an investment shopper since joining this thread, spending more on classic items that won't date and less on trends. It's taken me until 21 (ahem 40) to realise this!!
Don't waste your time with the bag thread. Nasty.

Hi all! That bag thread! Love it when people get their knickers in a twist over nothing. Hope OP joins this thread.Grin

So dh and I in front of tv. I am drinking wine in my marks and spencer pjs (lovely, soft and cheap!) and trying to decide what to get next week when I am in US.

MarshaBrady · 22/02/2013 22:02

Ha Novice. Just watched Crazy Stupid Love with Ryan Gosling. He's fab in that.

MarshaBrady · 22/02/2013 22:03

Love that blouse Drywhite!

BrandyAlexander · 22/02/2013 22:14

I agree that blouse is cute. I couldn't wear it though (bit too booby).

Someone on the bag thread has just linked to the Michael Kors bag I like. this one. Sigh. It's either that or the coach Madison Lindsey. Sigh. I am a bit worried they both look too much like my aspinal biker bag.

libertychick · 22/02/2013 22:16

Marsha I tried on white MIH vienna's in TKMaxx yesterday - unfortunately they didn't have my size but they were not see through so fingers crossed for the Paris.
V tired so have only skipped through and not read properly - well done on the ZK orders Anni and love your purchases Dec especially the Goat cardi - I have looked at them several times but double breasted doesn't work on me even though I am not particularly norky.
Amber what are you like getting deleted on the bag thread and not updating blog today??? Grin hope the hangover has properly worn off now.
Ordered this sweater and this scarf today. Posted them on another thread earlier so apologies if I am boring everyone.... off to bed - need an early(ish) night

libertychick · 22/02/2013 22:19

MK Hamilton bags are lovely Novice I have pinned the tan version - it would be cheaper in the US ....shame to waste the opportunity Smile

Drywhiteplease · 22/02/2013 22:42

novice love the coach and the aspinal bags!!!!!!! ........and no boobs here Sad

BrandyAlexander · 22/02/2013 22:43

Sigh, I know. Just reprinted from you. Yes you are enabler.please send me your number as dh wants a quiet word with you!!Grin

BrandyAlexander · 23/02/2013 06:57

Drywhite, Aspinal are a great brand. I like t

BrandyAlexander · 23/02/2013 07:22

Oops! Drywhite I was trying to say I like that they are not everywhere. They are also at the cheaper end of my bag collection so I own a few.

I have that biker (great bag I have used on the weekend as an alternative to my changing bag). I have the Hepburn in nude patent and the leopard calf hair. I just got the latter and was a tad Shock yesterday to see it shedding on my coat. Don't think I had thought that through!

I also have the Boston bowling bag although admittedly I use that less.

I have my eye on the Barbarella but that's definitely an A/W 2013 buy if they still do it.

Decameron · 23/02/2013 08:24

Lovely blouse, Drywhite, and sweater and scarf, Liberty.

Novice, I don't know Aspinal but I love that Coach bag. I was quite obsessed with the brand when I lived in the US but can't bear to pay the prices here. I like this bag. Also thinking of this Prada but will have to be disciplined and not buy anything for a few months (difficult).

Drywhiteplease · 23/02/2013 08:44

Oh novice what a lovely collection

AmberNectarine · 23/02/2013 09:00

Oh, threads like that bag one do my nut. There are things people spend money on that I think are colossal wastes of money, weddings for example. Mine which was at a riverside venue in london, where we had a free bar all night still came in at less than £4k and my dress was sub-£200 from Coast. Weddings just don't excite me because they are just one day, and I could never spend thousands on a dress I would wear only once, but I wouldn't dream of going on someone's wedding dress thread and telling them what they should be doing with the money instead.

You earn it, you decide what you want to do with it. End of. It is not my place, or anyone else's, to judge. I actually find it extremely distasteful. No-one on here knows our financial circumstances or how much we donate to charity, nor would I ever discuss it. If I want to spend my money on a bag, a pair of shoes or a diamond encrusted dildo that is my choice and I don't expect a character assassination from a bunch of santicimonious prats who don't even know me.

And here endeth the lesson.

jenny99 · 23/02/2013 09:03

Hi everyone....I found this thread after reading the handbag one...can't believe how judgemental so many of the comments are!
This thread looks much friendlier but I think will end up costing me a fortune ;)
But I have quite a bad habit already. A complete shopaholic...
just wanted to say hi...

Annianni · 23/02/2013 09:12

Welcome Jenny.

Decameron you have to get the blue Prada, it's divine.

Lovely blouse Drywhite.

I like the sweater Liberty.

MarshaBrady · 23/02/2013 09:17

Hi Jenny stick around.

Novice great collection!

Liberty that sweater looks really good, good fibre content too.

Amber it is odd how people get riled up about it.

Nice to have here. Lots of lovely stuff and chat.

AmberNectarine · 23/02/2013 09:19

Just ordered this cute necklace from Etsy to feed my rose gold addiction. Plan to layer it with other small pendants in different metals.

Drywhiteplease · 23/02/2013 09:38

Diamond encrusted dildo you say amber? Mmmmmm........my DH is away a lot, perhaps I need one? £250k? Now off to search web......shall I link it for the benchers?

I have also received from Etsy, a chan lu esque cuff hopefully linked on her blog, fab value for £19.99 (not £150)... Quite thrilled.....I love bracelets/ cuffs etc

MarshaBrady · 23/02/2013 09:42

And I really could not give a toss what people spend their £ on.

Except on here of course Grin.

Ok a gallery today, the breakfast lasted so long on Thursday we left at 3.00!

MarshaBrady · 23/02/2013 09:55

Liberty thank you for info on the MiH white! Sounds promising.
