It has been decided that we need a new Mumsnet Scarf

In order to stop hijacking stormforce10's brilliant thread, in which she gave another TerribleCuntMum a proper bollocking (go, stormforce!!! - and link here for anyone who wants to cheer her on), I am starting this one.

The old Mumsnet Scarf, judging by responses posted to a picture, is just not serving its purpose any more.

Here are a few alternate options.

Please add yours.

Skull scarf with attitude

Gorgeous white and grey butterfly scarf - my personal favourite

More butterfly options, with international shipping for those of us not in UK

Not so great, but worth mentioning nonetheless

The Original Scarf, which looks great on the wearer, but of course we don't all look like that

I like the white stuff one and also the skull one.

I thought we did have an updated MN scarf though? There was a thread last year about the zebra scarf.

This is the Zebra scarf , isn't it? I bought it green - had tons of compliments. I try and not let on it was dirt cheap on eBay, but usually fail. Smile

Humph, that's my not so great butterfly scarf, it is actually nice IRL, and I get loads of compliments too!

I already own a zebra one & a gorgeous accessorize circle scarf butterfly one (thanks mum).

I could use an excuse to buy another. I only own about 300 scarves to go with my 500 cardigans. Good for hiding chins & back fat.

I don't like any of them, sorry. And I don't want a scarf that everybody is going to be wearing, either tbh. So let's find LOTS of scarves, so people can all have a different one!

But I do like the look of:

Might well go and buy this tomorrow if it's nice irl

Um. Maybe I'm being stupid, but if we have lots of different scarves which I heartily approve in principle, I love scarves and have a few a lot actually, then how will we know which is The Mumsnet Scarf?

Or is it a defining feature of a Mumsnetter that she wears a long floaty scarf?

I have the White Stuff one :) Haven't worn it yet though so can't say if it's got any compliments.

Nagoo, if you do a search for "yellow zebra print scarf" on eBay, some come up as cheap as £3.99 incase you do want to buy one when pay does come. I have 3 from last year and know I didn't pay £7.99 for them.
