It has been decided that we need a new Mumsnet Scarf

In order to stop hijacking stormforce10's brilliant thread, in which she gave another TerribleCuntMum a proper bollocking (go, stormforce!!! - and link here for anyone who wants to cheer her on), I am starting this one.

The old Mumsnet Scarf, judging by responses posted to a picture, is just not serving its purpose any more.

Here are a few alternate options.

Please add yours.

Skull scarf with attitude

Gorgeous white and grey butterfly scarf - my personal favourite

More butterfly options, with international shipping for those of us not in UK

Not so great, but worth mentioning nonetheless

The Original Scarf, which looks great on the wearer, but of course we don't all look like that

Kind ladies please Please please link to scarf storage solutions!!

I wear my scarves differently. A loop knot if I'm cold, floaty in the summer, straight down and open if it's not a big scarf. But usually wrapped around the neck.

I have the zebra one from last year in a nice blue-grey. Really like the print - cute and a bit quirky.

Haven't worn it much yet and was wondering if the time for prints of animals was passing - but glad to see that it seems not and will give it an outing soon.

Why do you all want to wear the same bloody scarf?

I love the 'not so great scarf' may treat myself to one!

As most of us can't afford bespoke scarves, we all have to settle for mass produced scarves like everyone else wears.

so, if a scarf is a 'sign' like the funny handshake one for the Masons, does that mean Mary Berry is a MNer? She's always got one on. Is there a MN way of tying it??

I checked out M&S and TK Maxx today. The M&S horse one is really horrible fabric. They didn't have the clock one. Nothing in TK Maxx excited me. I did see a lovely Ted Baker one in HoF, but too expensive.

It looked really nice on. I tried not to double look and stare. Grin

The beagle one is very cute. I might get it for DD.

I like the beagles but don't like the colours - too wishy washy.
