It has been decided that we need a new Mumsnet Scarf

In order to stop hijacking stormforce10's brilliant thread, in which she gave another TerribleCuntMum a proper bollocking (go, stormforce!!! - and link here for anyone who wants to cheer her on), I am starting this one.

The old Mumsnet Scarf, judging by responses posted to a picture, is just not serving its purpose any more.

Here are a few alternate options.

Please add yours.

Skull scarf with attitude

Gorgeous white and grey butterfly scarf - my personal favourite

More butterfly options, with international shipping for those of us not in UK

Not so great, but worth mentioning nonetheless

The Original Scarf, which looks great on the wearer, but of course we don't all look like that

I think we need a pressure group to force encourage MN to produce and sell a right proper MN scarf.

Love the nest of vipers!

I've already got the elephant one, the cat one and the bird one!

Love the Cos one, saw it today in store and nearly bought it (but too busy gossiping),

I already have the Zebra scarf, so can it please be that one as my budget won't stretch to another scarf!!

Jacksmania how about this one for the Western Canada Mumsnetters?

Actually, scrap that. I've just seen how much they're changing hands for!

I need a long floaty scarf? I have a few but they are Not Big Enough.

CheerfulYank · 10/02/2013 03:14

That was not meant to be a question. Hmm

Little bit excited as I've got the zebra one and now know it's not 'out' yet Smile

Marking place, always space for another scarf!

Haven't we finished with butterflies? Aren't they on the way out already? Or is that swallows? Confused I get confused.

Report
FellatioNels0n · 10/02/2013 05:09

Is the butterfly the new swallow? Or should we now have a new butterfly?

A bumble bee perhaps. Or a rhino. You don't see many rhino scarves about do you? That would be edgy.

Report
FellatioNels0n · 10/02/2013 05:10

I mean with rhinos on it. Not rhino hide patterned. That would be boring.

Yes it is :o

I love the Alexander McQueen one!! Too bad it's so expensive. Given how pricey it is, I should be glad I look really shit in red :o

I like the cheap butterfly ones

I've never worn a floaty scarf though. How are you supposed to wear/tie them exactly? [scarf novice emoticon]
