For lots of nice stuff, links and so on.

They're worth it! They've repaired/resoled so many of my shoes over the years.

However, if you're buying from a shop, they should offer to send them to the repairers they use. (I own a sorry pair of white lambskin Robert Clergerie oxfords, and popped into their Wigmore St store the other day and asked if they knew how I could clean/restore them to their original white. The lovely chap offered to send them to their repairer and said that most shoe shops of a particular standard would offer to do all sorts to their shoes.)

Mrsap · 30/01/2013 22:44

Thx ladies. all the hoe love means i have ordered them and then was reminded by DH that if I get the bag and then fill it (as I always do) I will soon not be able to wear heels as my back will give up.

Also it is a LOT of money (DH's main motivation for discouraging me, I think he has his eye on purchasing more sailing paraphernalia).

Excited about the shoes tho.

Mrsap · 30/01/2013 22:46

Shoe love, not hoe love. Goodness knows what is wrong with my typing tonight.

QueenBOObread · 30/01/2013 23:00

Nude pointed flats for Drywhite

lurkingaround · 31/01/2013 09:56

Thanks, Mrsap, the Anya from theoutnet is nice, but not keen on the colour. I'm a total fusspot when it comes to bags, but when I do find the right one, I get great wear from it.

Shop My experience with Atterley Road was also very good. And free delivery!

MarshaBrady · 31/01/2013 09:57

Amber which Tibi sweater is it?

Novice how's the dress?

Love the links Mrsap

Tis this little bad boy Marsha

libertychick · 31/01/2013 11:09

Loving all the shoe links. I am having a shoe crisis, suddenly lots of my staples have fallen apart. Thanks for the Aquazurra link mominatrix I had not heard of them before and they are lovely and thanks novice for the R&B links - I think an R&B ballet flat would be a versatile option while I slowly restock my shoe shelf but noting the sizing comments I will visit a store.

There is a fantastic pair of Robert Clergerie flat white oxfords with a silver trim on page 172 of the March Red magazine - I cannot find them online to link.

MarshaBrady · 31/01/2013 11:29

Love that Amber. Roll on Feb! (post tax bill)

Thanks for tip Sansucre, will ask at Lanvin.

Love the sound of those Liberty am all about the white, there must be a way.

QueenBOObread · 31/01/2013 13:52

Ooh well done Shop, that's bargainous.

Inspired by the anti-Breton rage the other day I have now bought a new red breton AND a flippy Breton skirt from good old Agnes B.

.

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2013 15:43

Hi Marsha, I hope your appointment went okay.

I tried the dvf dress on yesterday and don't know whether its because I was ill/bloated it didn't suit me. I am going to try on one more time before it goes back tomorrow. The lkb version looks classy on me, whereas for more money £248, it was less forgiving and not as attractive. Hhmm. Think it's going back having said all that!

however, I don't care one bit because I bought the balenciaga bag Grin big thank you to Mrsap. Now if you could just let me have your address, I believe dh might want a quiet word with you GrinGrinGrin

QueenBOObread · 31/01/2013 16:04

That bag is bloody gorgeous novice.

Envy Envy Envy

Mrsap · 31/01/2013 16:22

Wow! I love that so much but having tried it on again today I have realised it is way too big. My back can't cope, it is so crap at the moment.

Still I feel happy in the knowledge that it's gone to a good home.

I did feel DH look a bit too happy when I decided. I suspect tho that this thread may have a lot of DHs shaking their heads in disbelief!

Amber, love that top. There is a spread on Tibi founder in grazia (can u tell i've spent a fair amount of time in waiting rooms this week) and her house looks v lovely too.

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2013 16:26

Thanks Queen! I haven't bought any Breton tops thoughGrin the top half of my torso is quite short so would cut me off in a v unattractive way.i am envious of those who can properly carry it off.

pickledsiblings · 31/01/2013 16:31

That is some bag novice.

BrandyAlexander · 31/01/2013 16:34

Thats such a shame. Well it might all be a damp squib for me too if its too big for me too. I was there with a measuring tap and compared it to my Mulberry Bayswater. I think it's slightly shorter both width and length but its the depth I am slightly worried about. But it's the colour and style I love so I have fingers crossed. In the meanwhile, I am v excited!

Dh is always pleased when I return to work from illness Hmm - He did a rubbish job of hiding his pleasure when I returned to work full time a few months ago.Grin

Drywhiteplease · 31/01/2013 17:43

Hi all....back from wk......what are you all wearing today then?

novice gorgeous bag......problem is downsizing now that we're all used to lugging around huge bags will be tough!(having said that I always manage on holiday....oddConfused)

Mrsap · 31/01/2013 17:51

Dry white, because on holiday u empty it out and then start afresh. In RL you just keep throwing things in.

I saw a gorgeous coloured marc Jacobs bag in my hunt for a sensible sized bag.

Am trying to find somewhere I can see it in the flesh. Not even sure if it is available still.
