For lots of nice stuff, links and so on.

I may have just accidentally bought Chanel La Favorite lipstick Blush

Mominatrix · 30/01/2013 21:08

I love the idea of white stilettos, but could never rock the look as I would get the shoe scuffed within 5 minutes. I've seen some great white heels like this one, but not for klutzy me. I do have a pair of white stiletto trainers - not wedges like the Ash or IM, but they look like converse with rubber 4inch heels. Needless to say, they are filthy, but it goes with the whole trainer look.

Mominatrix · 30/01/2013 21:08

idea should have been italicised, not crossed out

MarshaBrady · 30/01/2013 21:17

I know they would scuff wouldn't they. But they are bugging me so might have to try on. When Spring is here.

Fashion is soooo fickle! One minute you're in white stilettos, next they're the height of chavdom then they're back in......same with "drainpipes", out then in again called "skinnies", same with leggings....in.out,in....same with Chanel bags........I actually think a white stiletto would be a really versatile shoe....non?Wink

Hi everyone, having a lurk around (sorry the awful pun), and can't help but post Shock - £425 for canvas shoes!! I know they're Stella's but still!!!

I will fly fly fly from this thread as I am clearly a philistine! Blush

Am loving all your fab links tho.

MarshaBrady · 30/01/2013 21:24

Absolutely Grin. Am going with it.

Lurking stay! We love a bargain plus excess.

Oh and thank for the links mominatrix (those shoes are gorgeous) and novice for the bag link which led me to one of my links.

Did spend hours in the hospital waiting room today do may have ordered another 2 pairs of harem trousers in the hush sale. I figured I live mind do much that even if I get bored of them, I could just wear them round the house at £15 a pop.

Mrsap · 30/01/2013 21:38

Or should I say "I love mine so much" rather than "live mind do much".

Must not try to type when painting nails.

lurkingaround · 30/01/2013 21:40

Thanks Marsha. Bargain city here, tho I love to browse and dream buy! And currently seeking a bargain of a lovely bag, which I can tell you all fairly confidently, does not exist.

Since I de-lurked, i may as well do a bit of show-and-tell, Hmm. I bought this coat, (cheaper, from Atterley Road, gone from their website now), DH like it, DC like it.

BrandyAlexander · 30/01/2013 21:48

Omg! Mrsap that's the exact colour I first fell in love with but I wanted a smaller version, not the giant which is why i have never got round to getting it.

MarshaBrady · 30/01/2013 21:48

Gorgeous stuff Mrsap, all lovely, acne is fabulous and the Balenciaga of course! Good idea on Hush, hope hospital visit wasn't too bad.

Lurking love the coat, so luxe (there's a word, but hey it's better than luxurious sometimes) I'd love a coat with a self-tie belt.

OP posts:
Mominatrix · 30/01/2013 21:51

Fantastic choices Mrsap - what gorgeous hues of blue.

I love the coat lurking - very versatile, stylish, and flattering. What kind of bag are you looking for?

I have never heard of Atterley Road - am off to check it out.

Mrsap · 30/01/2013 21:58

Lurking that coat is fab. Wish I could wear belted stuff. My figure is a little too er erm athletic. I.e no waist or bum. I end up looking like a sausage that's been tied in the middle, despite the fact that I am not really carrying any excess.

I do love the shoes best. The bag is a little large but would easily be able to fill it with work stuff. Carrying it is another story.

I am trying to find a few bargains but not been lucky so far. My boring routine appointment at hospital took so long because all their IT failed. The joy. That in turn prevented me from getting to TK Maxx and i then spent a small fortune from the waiting room instead.

Think the other patients thought I was unhinged as I kept sighing and then getting my credit card out.

BrandyAlexander · 30/01/2013 22:00

Lurking that coat is gorgeous.

MarshaBrady · 30/01/2013 22:01

Lol Mrsap. I'm at the hospital tomorrow for something quite routine. The outnet new stuff should keep me pre-occupied for a while.

OP posts:
lurkingaround · 30/01/2013 22:09

Thanks for the votes on the coat!
I am currently loving all Prada bags, yes I'm specific(!), tho they are a bit structured for me, and I always like Bottega Veneta, (have an ancient one), something like this one, and I have oh, about a million times, dream bought a Hermes Evelyne bag, a thing of beauty irl, picture doesn't do it justice.

Drywhiteplease · 30/01/2013 22:10

lurking coat is lovely
mrsap really really love the shoes

lurkingaround · 30/01/2013 22:16

Beautiful bag Mrsap. Gorgeous.

Mrsap · 30/01/2013 22:20

Lurking have you thought about www.theoutnet.com/product/356169 instead of the bottega? It is a bit the same??

I also have my eye on this

www.tkmaxx.com/dresses/yellow-dress/invt/30076505/&bklist=icat,4,shop,001,0395 but then that does mean I need to start thinking spring.

Enjoy your waiting room time marsha! WinkWink

shopafrolic · 30/01/2013 22:23

Just dropping by to say Atterley Road is a fab site. Great service and delivery / returns too! And no, I don't work for them....

sansucre · 30/01/2013 22:29

Marsha If you're in North London, go to Classic Shoe Repairs on Brecknock Road (Camden) as they do repairs/re-soling for Gina, Prada and various others, I rate them far higher than Marios just off Portobello.

MarshaBrady · 30/01/2013 22:36

Thanks Sansucre! Am in SE London but can travel Grin.
