For lots of nice stuff, links and so on.

Marsha I was thinking the harem style ones might feasibly work with some tough-ish flat sandals, like these sort of things maybe (although with more straps - I don't like showing too much foot!)

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 11:15

Yep that's a good choice. I can't do sandals, but that looks good.

hello - haven't posted on this thread yet but just wanted to say keep the links coming. Mine have been a bit scant of late - my big purchase this month has been an airer from Lakeland. I know, rock and roll. But clothes related Grin

Sleepwhenidie · 12/02/2013 11:29

Hi Emo, kudos for being the first (I believe) to name drop Lakeland on the Vogue thread Grin

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 12:05

Emo hi! and good work on the Lakeland

Hi, Just wanted to say I really enjoy these threads, your blogs and Pinterest boards.

Now going back to being undercover stalker

shopafrolic · 12/02/2013 13:34

Hi Emo and Carrie
Just to say (and steal Emo's new crown) that i've definitely mentioned Lakeland and Argos on here before. I am so classy me! Grin

shopafrolic · 12/02/2013 13:40

Hopefully love those harems and could definitely work with that type of sandal. I'm not as keen on the maxi though but I think it's because I'd struggle to know how to wear it. That's why live in trousers and dresses! Although this link has made me tempted to try the Whistles skirt from earlier posts.
Am being naughty curled up in bed while DS naps. I'm so cold today it's ridiculous.
Lesson for the day, i must always wear my A&W chinos with a belt when going to toddler groups. Not great when scrabbling around on all fours in a ball pit!

QueenBOObread · 12/02/2013 14:15

Hello Carrie, the more the merrier!

I am so not paying this for a pair of sandals but these from Chloe are what I'm drooling over at the moment.

QueenBOObread · 12/02/2013 16:32

Well my Ganni dress has arrived and I'm chomping at the bit to try it on. Not easy in an open-plan office!

I've noisily ripped off the paper and held it up to myself but that's not quite the same. Am quite excited though - it doesn't feel stupidly big and I love the textured fabric which is a bit like sofa material.

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 17:22

It's lovely QueenBoo, glad it's good so far!

I saw these today and like a lot. Like the el cheapo TS pair I had last year.

AmberNectarine · 12/02/2013 20:40

Ooh, would you get this or the silver...?

shopafrolic · 12/02/2013 20:43

Vote for silver.

shopafrolic · 12/02/2013 20:45

My stylish moment for today and yes, I'm clutching at straws. I took DS for a walk round the block and half way round his nose was streaming. I had no tissues, checked my purse, had to wipe his nose on a Selfridges receipt! It was that or my J Brands!! Shallow. :)

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 20:55

Shop that's funny. Am sure I have done that before with a receipt. I remember wiping on my little sister's tshirt when little so I must have known then.

Amber silver, it's gorgeous.

I really like this look. Maybe kick the shoes, but the blazer/jacket. I'd really like one that isn't too stuffy.

OP posts:
Annianni · 12/02/2013 21:13

Another vote for silver.

Annianni · 12/02/2013 21:16

That poor model Emo, her arse looks huge. Have they employed the photographer from Cos?

shopafrolic · 12/02/2013 21:24

Hey Amber have you got any of the Kain tanks that are on the Outnet? Are they quite sheer?

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 21:27

That is very Cos-like. The best thing about Zara was the site, they shouldn't have changed it. Although already forgetting how it used to look.

Drywhiteplease · 12/02/2013 21:30

Good god Emo that's a shocker, think she's come from the Seasalt website!!!

AmberNectarine · 12/02/2013 21:49

I don't shop, I have failed as the go to girl for having stuff. However I know a couple of the W&A girls have had things from Kain and found them to be good.

Christ on a bike, that dress is an amalgamation of everything I despise in an item of clothing. Unflattering, drop-waisted, shapeless, drab. Fashion fail, Zara.

I prefer the silver I think, I just worry I'll get bored of it. I won't, will I?

Marsha love that look, would def keep the high tops though Wink

MarshaBrady · 12/02/2013 21:56

That look could definitely be the one to sway me to get high tops. It's fab.

I don't think you would. Can you imagine it with outfits you have already?

QueenCadbury · 12/02/2013 21:57

Hi all, haven't been able to look at all the fabulous links properly as am in centre parcs with v slow Internet access.

You lot would disown me this week as I'm wearing a fat face sweatshirt, track suit trousers, north face fleece and merrells Grin.
