Oh do stay special, I need other Winters on here to stop the Autmns taking over with their orange and yellow shiz.

BrandyAlexander · 11/02/2013 23:39

Thanks Olivia Grin been there with a house renovation. Shudder!

Hi Specialbrew pop back again soon :)

McNally, I am so cross about it as I have just put it in the charity bag after one day wear as its just wrong. Annoying mistake!

libertychick · 11/02/2013 23:41

Waves at Specialbrew
Sleep it was leopard print, brown. TBH I'd consider any animal print, it's the zipped leather sleeves that I really liked and the impact of that with animal print. Have been imagining my perfect version and it would probably be tiger or zebra in black/white or a cobalt leopard print.

Is that specific enough? Grin I should probably just call up VW or similiar and suggest it to them!

Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:42

marsha I got distracted by the other stuff, forgot about my honeycomb jumper! I got it in the Anna Shock sale just before Christmas, have uploaded a pic onto my profile as I can't find it anywhere online, suspect it may have been a sample...

Hi specialbrew, sharing the 2.55 love, only posted one on my dream wardrobe board on Pinterest today funnily enough.

noddyholder · 11/02/2013 23:43

I am going to hide thread as tbh I have posted many links over the years relating to my interior design work and many people have commented in many ways on them not always favourably but i never suggested they were a troll. You shouldn't post links if you are not prepared for some of us to find them dull

libertychick · 11/02/2013 23:46

Novice you are outdoing yourself tonight with the disaster confessions! Vanity sizing ticks me right off too. I am a standard 12 on top (exactly 36 inchs round the bust) and while I used to always order medium's and have a guaranteed fit I now often need a small. This has cost me A LOT in delivery charges and returns.

Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:47

You should Liberty, let us know what they say! It sounds very M Kors but isn't in current collection...curse you, I should be going to sleep but you've started me hunting for a veritable needle Grin Was probably bought in a tiny Italian boutique we have no hope of tracking down!

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 23:47

I was contemplating some J Brands today and it said size up by two sizes. What kind of numpty thinks that people relish in buying two sizes bigger than they usually do.

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:49

Oops, sorry, my jumpers upside down, not sure why Confused

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 23:50

Oh well done getting it in the sale Sleep! Looks fab.

Still love that acne red dress. Have you had the party?

OP posts:
libertychick · 11/02/2013 23:53

Excellent sleep I'll trot off to bed then and leave you too it. I'll check back in on progress around 7am Grin

I suspect you are right about the tiny Italian boutique and I also suspect it's £££. The woman had that expensive aura about her...it's probably that overall effect I am really craving.

McNally · 11/02/2013 23:53

I'd be quite pleased if J Brands do come up so small but, alas, I don't think that has been my experience Sad! Might be different for skinnies etc. though?

Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:53

Yes, was great, all over too soon. Felt amazing in the dress and zara shoes, lots of compliments too Smile. No occasions to wear it again anytime soon though Sad - it's not exactly an everyday dress is it.

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 23:54

I bet you did. You look great in it. Hmmm a vogue party for all the best dresses crying out to be worn.

OP posts:
libertychick · 11/02/2013 23:55

Up two sizes - bloody hell Marsha, that is bonkers.

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 23:56

I know Sad. I don't want to go back to up two sizes!

OP posts:
Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:56

Picture it on an Eastender or that Catherine Tate character..."am I bovvered" - how's it working now liberty Grin not that I'm trying to talk you out of it so we can give up the search and sleep, oh no

Sleepwhenidie · 11/02/2013 23:57

Great idea Marsha - name the date!

libertychick · 11/02/2013 23:59

Do you know, Eastenders chic is probably exactly how it would look on me! And my arms would sweat in the leather...ugh, what was I thinking? Grin

MarshaBrady · 11/02/2013 23:59

Ok will think about this. Will send a pm.

Blimey late isn't it. Black Mirror was rubbish in case anyone was thinking of watching it.

OP posts:
libertychick · 12/02/2013 00:00

Good lord it's midnight - I am going to bed - night all!

Hopefully · 12/02/2013 06:15

Morning!

We went to see I Give It A Year last night - our lovely nanny gave us a cinema voucher and free babysitting for a joint birthday present (we both turned 30). It was actually hilarious, waaaay better than I was expecting (it was chosen mostly on the basis of early start time rather than critical acclaim!). Some really amusing observations on marriage. And some cringeworthy not-funny bits, but you can't win em all. Nice to properly laugh. And eat popcorn.

I'm sorry for being such a dull thread person at the moment, but am hanging around despite my zero budget at the moment as it's so nice to see links etc!

AmberNectarine · 12/02/2013 06:47

Ah excellent, Hopefully, DH and I are going to see that on V day. Not that he knows it yet!

Marsha, I had to go down two sizes in the Earharts! J Brand clearly need to standardise their sizing!

AmberNectarine · 12/02/2013 06:54

Oh and guys can I ask you not to link my blog. I've a message from MNHQ overnight complaining. The posts have been deleted.

Genuinely wondering if it's worth the hassle.

blue2711 · 12/02/2013 06:58

Amber, the blog is great. Don't understand MNHQ's email; there are often threads on here recommending blogs, which is all that we have done here. Please continue with it!
