Having a manic day here - INSET day at school and I have 7 kids (inc my 3) over for lunch. While also trying to "work from home" and talk to removal people.

Right, having finally got home after a 5 1/2hour journey with DS spewing in the back......
I have booked a table at the BFI for 8pm. She couldn't take a booking to reserve a pitch in the bar though, so I think we will have to hope for the best unless anyone knows better??? What time shall we say for drinks?

Really sorry, crepeys, but I'm going to have to miss tomorrow. It has been a hectic week, and this weekend is DH's and DD1's birthdays, and we are having electrical work on the house all day Saturday which will mean we will have to clear off and Go Somewhere....blah blah, excuses excuses.....

Anyway, have a lovely time, raise a G&T to me, and I will see you at the next one.

Am feeling somewhat grim this week as having smugly said previously that my (occasional) periods are light I'm having one that feels like I am losing pints everyday and has been going on for over a week now!

Oh - so wish I was meeting you tonight for a civilised cocktail at the BFI. Am currently in Wales in a Gale with Hail. Very dull indeed, got a teeny shred of internet connection every now and then, kids are glued to TV, dh is doing a jigsaw puzzle. Some holiday, bah. We did climb a mountain on Wednesday, which was impressive and lovely until the clouds came in and completely obscured the view from the top. Still, we can say we did it. Anyway, have some for me tonight, and I will deffo be at the next one. Will also try and keep up with thread a bit more now that the worst of boxes and unpacking is done, or rather we've reached the end of the beginning.

I'm hoping it won't be TOO civilised, wilbur. Though then again I have got the family coming to lunch at 12 tomorrow. Gah.

Your holiday sounds a little, erm, trying. But I'm with your DH - I rediscovered my love of doing jigsaws on our holiday. Can't quite bring myself to do it back at home, however.

I too wish I was going to be there tonight. Have plenty of for me, won't you. I am going to be up bright and early to give the dog a loooong walk before driving to Poole to have my colours done. I am rather excited about that :) (although I suspect that might merit a "sad old biddy" emoticon)

BD, don't be bemused, be happy :) - as you say, surely this must mean you are sorted? (fingers crossed etc) I look forward to meeting you at the next Crepey meetup - unless you are bongo-ing down this way this summer and fancy dropping by for tea?

I'm currently in dd's good books as it has been sleepovers and friends a-go-go this week, but I am now suffering from a bout of surliness after too many days playing the role of the hostess with the mostest, as this is not a role which comes easily to me. Am ripe for a morning of child-free, middle-aged self-indulgence.

Oh Stropps enjoy today!! I am about to do M25 again (itwice in less than 12 hours) and am feeling knackered...I am going to have a quiet day and crawl into bed early with strict orders that I am not to be disturbed until at least midday tomorrow (I predict it won't happen)
Apparently EA things second buyer may go higher, although to be honest I would go with the one that can deliver the quickest :)
