Just received the bill for DD1's next term of ballet which is exactly the cost of one hour's entertainment at her party so decided to do a small birthday tea for her instead. She will be as happy with that but will my new-found sensible side last?

Decameron Tea party sounds lovely. Would DD like an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party - loads of good ideas online - can send various links? We used it as the theme for the big high tea last year and it was very easy - and cheap to do.
