Hello all!

OP posts:
MarshaBrady · 08/03/2012 10:44

Me too.

Home now, can't get in.

MrsCampbellBlack · 08/03/2012 10:45

Decameron - I took some stuff into a dress agency yesterday and she didn't want any of the j brands as apparently they don't sell but 7's do - bizarre! Will see how I get on but roxy is now there as I just know I won't wear it.

Took lots to charity shop too as can not be fagged to ebay. I think j brands don't wash and wear very well - my houlihans looked trashed to be honest.

Oh well - I have a nice organised wardrobe now.

FritziGreenEyes · 08/03/2012 10:45

I'm at Starbucks trying to get my bloodsugar up again. Atmosphere in the queue was fantastic here too, the selection in the store less so Sad. Jewellery had all gone, and the few things that would have been ok for me colourwise were not there. Bought a sleeveless silk blouse for my friend though.

Hopefully · 08/03/2012 10:45

I got on to H&M, but there really was nothing grabbing me at all, so haven't bothered. I think my favourite H&M collaboration was the Stella McCartney one years ago. I bought a couple of pieces from it that I used until they properly wore out.

Decameron · 08/03/2012 10:45

As I wrote that, I got in but anything I liked has sold out. If anyone is in a store and sees a red belt in m/l, please could you get it for me and I will reimburse you!

ApuskiMcClusky · 08/03/2012 10:45

Decameron, the straw high top hat is sold out online if that's the one you mean.

MarshaBrady · 08/03/2012 10:46

I can't be bothered to ebay.

I tried once and rather just spend the money without having to ebay to get it.

Decameron · 08/03/2012 10:47

MrsCB, that's interesting. I just have to be more careful about what I buy, I really do.

Decameron · 08/03/2012 10:48

That's the one Apuski, though just as well as I'd probably look like a donkey in it.
I don't buy anything on eBay either, Marsha. Once bitten!

MarshaBrady · 08/03/2012 10:50

Oh yes me too, I don't buy but I can't even be bothered to sell!

The whole thing shopping thing is a light-hearted distraction for me, so if I have to ebay to fund it I go off the whole thing.

MrsCampbellBlack · 08/03/2012 10:50

Snap Decameron. Was actually quite shocking how much stuff I sorted out yesterday. And interestingly it tends to be the topshop/warehouse type stuff that I end up never wearing but don't think carefully enough about buying because its not as £££ as a NAP type purchase.

I normally give most of my old stuff to my niece and sister and they fight over it.

Me too with the orange bag Annie. I have got a few bits and pieces but really wanted the shoes.

Hopefully · 08/03/2012 11:03

MrsCB I definitely find that when I have more disposable cash I only think carefully about more expensive purchases. Being super-poor for the last couple of years has been great from the point of view of making me really consider every single purchase, even ones of only £15-£30 or whatever. I am loving my wardrobe at the moment, as everything has been purchased quite carefully. Although not loving that I have randomly put on 3lb in the past three days and therefore nothing looks as nice as it did last week! I am blaming my mother for making breton butter cake. Even the name is unhealthy!

Another easy wrap bracelet arrived yesterday, am rather pleased with this one too. Hurrah!

Hopefully · 08/03/2012 11:04

Etsy, not easy. Stupid autocorrect.

FritziGreenEyes · 08/03/2012 11:05

Ahh, DH is taking me out for an impromptu lunch Smile

MarshaBrady · 08/03/2012 11:06

No cheap stuff. I know I go off it.

I wanted to get Marni, but in the end it I didn't love it enough either.

MarshaBrady · 08/03/2012 11:16

What do people think of 'shopper' type bags?

orange Céline here.

Nice or a bit boring?

Look at thumbnails if you can and scroll along. It's the only image I can find!

OllieinOrange · 08/03/2012 11:25

I liked the red top and spot dress too but only just back from visiting a friends new baby (girl - soooo cute, I had lots of lovely cuddles). Fed up of hitting the Try Again button already - dont really understand how you can be held in a que and then refresh the page and still be in the que

There is already 233 Marni for H&M items on ebay!

OllieinOrange · 08/03/2012 11:25

OMG - the spot dress is already at 117 pounds with 7 bids on it. Madness!

Decameron · 08/03/2012 11:26

Marsha, I do like it and don't think it looks boring but I would get fed up carrying it.

Yep, I would rather wait for the sales or save for something really nice.

ApuskiMcClusky · 08/03/2012 11:26

Just out of curiosity I had a look on eBay - bloody hell those sellers are fast. Marni stuff already on there selling for silly money.

Decameron · 08/03/2012 11:26

Have a nice time, Fritzi.

ApuskiMcClusky · 08/03/2012 11:27

Ha, cross posts Ollie!
