I love my AH glitter. Which one did you get amber?

Santa got me an Alex Monroe Bee necklace and Miller Harris smellies.

MrsCB I have the AH Maxi Satchel in cream. Not used it much recently, but I find the little pockets really handy.

Off for afternoon tea now, before having a quick online browse of the sales.

Have fabulous days everyone.

pickledsiblings · 25/12/2011 12:22

Portia4 · 25/12/2011 14:19

AmberNectarine · 25/12/2011 15:20

It's a rose pink kind of colour choo, what colour have you got?

Big hits here include an inflatable chair and a parachute man!

How sweet of your DD carciofi.

Have already eaten so much and dinner isn't for a couple of hours...

Have had some lovely news, DBIL proposed to his GF, who I like very much, and she said yes. Wedding outfit to plan...

Emo76 · 25/12/2011 16:27

Merry christmas all ! I got the nespresso machine I really wanted, and some other nice bits and bobs. Have resolved to spend next Xmas on a beach

blossoming · 25/12/2011 17:48

Naughty DH got me everything on my list, so a purple ice watch, a kindle, Zoe Karssen(?) stripey grey top, oversized and long, and a cashmere stole from mypashmina in fig. Gorgeous deep burgundy colour. I sm uncomfortably stuffed!

IceCreamCastles · 25/12/2011 21:08

Merry Christmas everyone!

Hectic but good day here today.

Hope you've all had a lovely day

blue2711 · 25/12/2011 23:26

Happy Christmas everyone! Hope you've all had wonderful days with your lovely families. We've had a great time and DS has been a joy despite being pretty uninterested in opening presents! I think we'll be opening them all week at this rate! I on the other hand was very keen to open mine: the fur gilet, Chanel perfume, books and a lovely big fund for the sales 'all to be spent on me'! Feeling very blessed - and full!

Good morning everyone.

Lovely to hear of so many of your Christmas days and all the fun that has been had.

DH surprised me greatly with a Mulberry postmans lock purse in Midnight!! I also received another one of Anjum's Cookery books, and a great foldable cookery book stand. My godmother kindly got me a garlic pot from a ceramic range I have loved for ages. Sounds a bit boring, but I am thrilled with it and it helps me dream of my new kitchen!

The only downside is that DS has been poorly, keeps waking up with a really high temp etc. Someone has also bought him a little armchair in the most lurid blue felt which he adores...Smile

NJ Not my father, but a few older male family members comments have made me wince and have been a stark reminder why I left our small town as soon as I could. There was also one Daily Mail moment where it would appear I was totally responsible for the short comings of the NHS according to one family member...all took with a Hmm

Hope you all have lovely Boxing days.

AmberNectarine · 26/12/2011 11:57

Right, have emerged alive from the sheer insanity that was Selfridges at opening time! Was to crazy to really look properly but managed to pick up a half price McQueen scarf in the black/bright blue colour way. Also got a pair of J Brand jodhpurs in Vintage stallion, which is a nice khaki brown.

Am planning on tackling HN/Harrods tomorrow!

Glad you all had such lovely Christmases!

mim lovely purse, your DH has done well (esp. after your bday). Hope DS feels much better soon.

blossoming · 26/12/2011 11:59

Morning all! Heading to BiL's for annual IL boxing day from hell. Wearing new dark 912s, 50/50s, charcoal jigsaw asymmetric top and fig scarf.

notyummy · 26/12/2011 13:03

Hope you all had lovely days yesterday. I must thank Ollie for the playmobile suggestion. DD was beside herself with excitement when she unwrapped her Playmobile treasure chest. Justin Beiber cd and the vests also went down well!! I got loads, including BE starter kit, Clinique skincare products, books, lots of running gear and a lot of Australian dollars from my mum and dad. I may have more to report later- they are all packed in the back of the car and I can't remember Grin.

Wore the maroon skater dress yesterday with opaques and wedge boots. On way home today in coated skinnies, grey top and silver Zara jumper. Off home to tidy the house before MILs arrival Hmm. Roads are busy!!

Meant to say- cant believe how well Dd has been sleeping. This Christmas business is obviously exhausting. She woke at 745 on Christmas Day and 8 30 today, having gone to bed at 815 both nights. Result!

carciofi · 26/12/2011 14:25

NY, always nice when they sleep well! My DDs woke at 2, 4, 6 and 8. Luckily DH got up with them and I then when back to sleep until midday.

Mim, that's a lovely present from your DH.

I didn't get anything but I really enjoyed watching DD1 opening her presents. I will buy myself a present tomorrow in the sales, I hope, and have just ordered the Oslos in grey. MiH have further discounts.

carciofi · 26/12/2011 14:27

Went back to sleep, not when back to sleep. Sigh. How will I ever get a job again?!

NJC, hope you are feeling better. My dad and his cronies make racist comments occasionally, it makes me cringe. They then say it is a joke. Actually, my dad is a lot better now as we don't let him away with it.

AmberNectarine · 26/12/2011 15:31

Oh blue leopard CEs were not in sale! Will check HN tomorrow!

AntPants1 · 26/12/2011 16:18

HAd a lovely lovely day yesterday. But alas like carciofi have a non sleeping child. DS is full of cold and was a nightmare last night. Grizzled all night and wanted to hold my hand....

Got some really lovely presents including this Massimo Dutti top www.massimodutti.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product/duttigb/en/30109954/152159/675002/FLORAL%2BPRINT%2BSHIRT

also lovely pink blanket from designers guild for my bed, some fabulous jewelary from Monica Vinader and ECOne.

DC loved their presents and were so execited during the day. DS is still happily playing with his Thomas train set as I type and DD is rocking some great outfits!

Hope everyone is having good days.

carciofi · 26/12/2011 16:48

Very pretty top, Ants.
Fingers crossed they sleep tonight!

AntPants1 · 26/12/2011 18:19

Thanks carciofi. fingers crossed for you too!

Fleecy · 26/12/2011 22:53

Hope everyone has had a lovely few days. Have gift envy as DH and I don't buy for each other as I have said before. Have done NAP order though and bought an Equipment shirt from the Outnet so will see what stays and link accordingly.

PIL over for Christmas Day. Dinner went well so that was a relief. Had a family gathering today and I wasn't sure what to expect so decided to dress up rather than down. Navy Janice, teal opaques, snakeskin courts with a teal platform and heel (sound awful, don't they? But are lovely) and felt good. Until DS laddered the tights with his shoes. Grr! Are Wolford and Falke tights worth the money or can anyone recommend some cheaper, long-lasting tights?

L good as gold yesterday - she really is a very contented little soul when at home. Different story today though when passed from person to person. Very unsettled by the time we came home. Poor girl - you can understand why babies don't like being passed around but I can't bring myself to refuse nice relatives the chance to cuddle my gorgeous baby Grin

Fleecy · 26/12/2011 22:54

Yes, fingers crossed for good nights all round. Here's to unbroken sleep!

Emo76 · 27/12/2011 07:43

Fleecy I love wolford opaques but now recommend super drug opaques , the non shiny ones. I got a three pack in an emergency pre Christmas and am impressed.

Have bought two tops from Reiss in online sale but that is it. An not overwhelmed by the online sales so far and decided against the AH Gracie in fringed black as I just can't tell online if it is really for me. Shame the "normal" black one isn't in the sale!

RidingInTheMidnightBlue · 27/12/2011 07:47

Pssst, blue, can you link to your ts leather jacket? Can't justify the roxy...
