I must post about this. I have just spunked nearly ninety quid on some Bare Escentuals starter kit things.

I arrived at the counter in Stratford Westfield with a hideous bright red, sore, scarred, spotty, sweaty face, and some WITCH managed to take a decade off me with POWDER. Just powder! I mean - WT actual F?! A tube ride and a 20 minute walk home and it's still there. SURELY that's not right. I've used all sorts of super-max coverage matte stuff and it didn't cover ANYTHING like this well. O and I have the glowing rosy cheeks of a teen

I promise I've not been giver a tenner to post this stuff. It's just I've spent so much I feel slightly sick. Does anyone else use this stuff? it's not going to last is it. i'm an idiot. What have I done

There was a whole thread on BBBH. My hair is huge anyway but it makes it look so much more groomed. I have to run the GHDs over to tame it down!

I paid £44 at Argos - I had vouchers and I wanted to be able to take it back if I hated it! £35 is a bargain!

There are loads of things you can do with those paint colour charts here If I go to B&Q and they are all missing. I know why

I have, of course, signed up, being of an addictive personality and a complusive crafter....I am on some sort of waiting list apparently.

S&B is very, very bad for my bank account. As well as the BE, completely based on threads in here I've bought boots (faaaabulous boooooots) Not only that, inspired again by S&B, these are boots with heels as I am very tall and usually wear flats. They came today and I am happy.

I've also been stocking up on leggings and warm clothes for layering a la various threads here. I am reborn!

It is not good . Well, it IS good, but ykwim.

Right, it was all in a huge cardboard box sealed with BE tape (a detail which made DH actually squeal )

Inside that was a lovely pink gift bag full of pink tissue paper and inside that.....

A full size foundation in my colour
