I must post about this. I have just spunked nearly ninety quid on some Bare Escentuals starter kit things.

I arrived at the counter in Stratford Westfield with a hideous bright red, sore, scarred, spotty, sweaty face, and some WITCH managed to take a decade off me with POWDER. Just powder! I mean - WT actual F?! A tube ride and a 20 minute walk home and it's still there. SURELY that's not right. I've used all sorts of super-max coverage matte stuff and it didn't cover ANYTHING like this well. O and I have the glowing rosy cheeks of a teen

I promise I've not been giver a tenner to post this stuff. It's just I've spent so much I feel slightly sick. Does anyone else use this stuff? it's not going to last is it. i'm an idiot. What have I done

the bisque under my eyes is great, a good colour and I could see the difference straight away. I'm using By Terry Touche Veloute normally but hoping this lasts as long as the foundation does for me.

Oooh it's all so exciting! Oily/rubbish skin normally gets the dunce hat in all things make-up and this time it's the crown! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!

hester Liz Earle new foundation is sticky, definitely not a tinted moisturiser and vastly over priced! I was horrified actually and thank God I didn't waste my money on a bottle of it!

Her C and P used to be great and I loved it but they've changed the formula and it's shit now!

fanny - I LOVE the Avon mineral foundation, the packaging is amazing and BE could learn a lot from them IMHO. The coverage is really nice the only thing is the colours tend to be more 'pink' based than the BE 'yellow' base, which is what I need. I wear the Avon one when I go out in the evenings but bot in daylight!

Flawless teenager?

Nah, I'm classic combination skin - dry patches on cheeks with oily t zone. My skin itself is in fabulous shape THANK YOU EVE LOM I LOVE YOU awaits freebies but due to ongoing insomnia I look veh corpselike. Also, vetting potential make up for wedding day. I look HIDEOUS in photos so need something that makes up for that. I'm possibly the least photogenic person in the world.

I know - it is a stupid name.

BUT - it is good stuff, I urge all you naysayers to give it a go.

Abs someone about a thousand posts upthread came to BE because she had seen a relative's wedding pictures, and they looked photoshopped, and it turned out to be BE....

As some have said, if you don't apply correctly or you've got dry skin it can look a little heavy but I'd've thought it's an sbolutely DREAM for wedding pix. Also, the staying power is nothing less than bonkers. It's still there the next morning if you fall alseep face down on a dribbly pillow in a drunken stupor (and here, you understand, I merely surmise )

ByTerry stuff is fantabulous. The mascara is lasting ages and has growth oojammies in so I have bambi lashes now

I shall be well jel if you get anything more than a pathetic little bottle of brush shampoo jodie like I did after complaining about the shedding brushes!

Yes it does stay for aaaaages, if you had trouble getting out of bed in the morning you could probably put your make up on the night before and get up and go in the morning

Bizarre thread - NICE. There was some weirdiness going on in the Human Rights Act thread in In The News (apparently the indigenous Britains are Christians ) but after about ten people turned up and went "WTF?" about the bizarre posts it stopped. I'm now bored.

Think By Terry mascara was about £30 or aroundabout there. Maybe £25. Highly recommend anyway. Space NK is the place to geddit. It's a true black too, none of this blackbrown shite. And the tube is silver and engraved so looks awfully posh (I like)

I think Booby Brown Mineral makeup is shittola, darling Absy. So I've read anyway.
