Has anyone removed all their pubic hair with hair remover cream (poss TMI but what the hell)

I just got a bit bored, covered my legs in nair and then thought 'what the hell' and slathered it all over me bits.

It's great. HUGELY satisfying to just pull the hair out in clumps.

Looks a bit odd though, have never had a brazillian or anything so is all new to me.

Make me wonder why you would have a brazillian actually when you can just put a bit of cream on, read a trash mag whislt perched on the edge of the bath, and then shower it off.

No pain, and cheap.

I just think why not NAIR you head? That hair can be unsightly and hard to manage too

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 17:17

Cyb when my hair is unsightly and hard to manage I can either whack it in a pony tail or wear a hat and go about my business tidy and presentable.

You seriously want me to consider this option for my pubes Confused..... because I will you know!

I have fecking stubble already so am going to nuke again tonight and do it regularly to try and make the hair finer, now I know it works. Grin

Great thread....
Flumptious, which salon was it you went to in Wymondham, with the brutal Iranian waxing lady?

Flumptious · 08/08/2011 18:14

She wasn't Iranian this one, just very brusque and matter of fact.
I've just been looking at google maps as it was years since I lived in Norfolk. I think it was the one on Norwich Road, Hethersett. She was lovely, I remeber it being a bit like a converted shed?? May have dreamt that bit. Anyway, she left me so smooth my foot kept slipping off the clutch on the way home. Would recommend!!

Pannacotta · 08/08/2011 18:37

Thanks Flumptious, will look it up...

mathanxiety · 08/08/2011 18:41

'lolol I thought lizzy when you said "the plughole does gets blocked but some drain cleaner sorts that" you were being euphemistic.'

Smile I thought she was helpfully suggesting a cure for piles....

minipie · 08/08/2011 19:02

Brilliant thread

Whole new meaning to "the MN haircut".

But before I try it, I want an update from you lot in a week or two when the regrowth comes in.

Honeydragon · 08/08/2011 19:04

might be sooner......

HamstersDontSwim · 08/08/2011 19:29

Well I have one armpit with sparse fine stubble Confused

I washed it off when it started to feel warm and it was soreish for about an hour.

Am all of a confuddle about weather to tackel my lady garden...

carlywurly · 08/08/2011 20:12

Hooray for this thread! I discovered this trick by accident Shock a few weeks ago and would never go back to being bushy now!! Go for it!

rumpleteaser · 08/08/2011 20:13

Ooh what an interesting thread! I have avoided hair removing cream for years now as it made my legs all bubbley. I might give it another go now with a sensitive version but will test on legs or pits before even considering the lady garden.
I have some bikini wax strips in the bathroom cupboard waiting for when nobody else is home and I've had a few Wines. Never waxed even my legs before so it may not be a good idea.

JustFiveMinutesHAHAHA · 08/08/2011 20:33

Hamsters (and others) you need to use something a bit 'rough' to wash it off (but not too rough) such as the sponge that comes with the In Shower veet (which I love for my legs but can't use in the shower as it just washes straight off of me, but if I use it, wait 6 minutes, then get in the shower and wash it off with the sponge it's fab!) It burns my underarms in less than 4 minutes though - so there's no way it's going anywhere near there. I might give the sensitive a go though as I love it 'all off' but can no longer afford to have it waxed :(

JustFiveMinutesHAHAHA · 08/08/2011 20:35

Rumpleteaser - I just cannot inflict that pain on myself... just cannot.

bringmesunshine2009 · 08/08/2011 21:32

Works for me-veet sensitive, no pain!

rumpleteaser · 08/08/2011 22:17

justfive I dunno if I can! Not plucked up the courage yet! I might end up with stripes. I have grown the hair to a nice wax-adherable length. Can't leave it much longer!

JustFiveMinutesHAHAHA · 08/08/2011 22:23

Rumple - don't do it in the few days before your period and have a bottleglass of wine first!

rumpleteaser · 09/08/2011 09:29

Thanks for the advice!

AmaraDresden · 09/08/2011 10:51

Pain! Ouch, once did mine and boy did I pay for it, I couldn't sit down properly for days, and it didn't even take all the hair off either. So not an experience I want to repeat, ever.

On the other hand, I'd love to be able to use the creams on my legs and armpits, I've tried in the past but it never took all the hair off there either. Nor on my upper lip. Is my hair made of wire or something?

ThatVikRinA22 · 09/08/2011 10:59

i actually found some nair sensitive in the bathroom cabinet.....

Choufleur · 09/08/2011 15:41

I just did most of mine. Nair bikini and underarm sensitive cream. Used a flannel to wipe it off. Was a bit stingy right underneath for about 5 mins after but is fine now and smooth. Pleased I've done it as it's easier than shaving and I go swimming about twice a week so keep having to tidy.

TaudrieTattoo · 09/08/2011 16:54

Thank god you lot have got hairy bumholes as well.

Have spent years feeling like a freak.

Off to buy some Nair Sensitive tomorrow. I shall think of you all as I deforest my arsehole.

TinyDiamond · 09/08/2011 16:55

Ok so I've been meaning to do it again for ages now problem is I'm now 39 weeks pregnant.

Can we discuss logistics of possible positions that may make it doable please? I was thinking all fours arse in air is the only way....

It's going to have to be an all off job as there's no way I can see what I'm doing to leave a strip.

I look forward to your replies. Removal cream ready and waiting, it's not as if I have anything better to do

KaySirah · 09/08/2011 16:55

Vulgar · 09/08/2011 18:55
